A day and a daisy{closed}

DaisyHeart woke and smiled down at her little kit. She licked the bundle of fur happy to have a cat to love. She remembered before she had her little daykit when she slept and hunted all day. She liked that there was something else to do and hoped her friends didn't miss her that much. The nursery wasn't like the warrior den but it was cozy and warm. She said down at her new kit.

Daisyheart smiled as her little kit woke up. "good morning daykit want to explore camp with me?" she asked the bundle of fur licking daykit to make sure she was clean.

Daisyheart stood and with her tail making sure daykit didn't go to far walked out of the nursery. He paw stepped in the white snow and she smiled. She hoped it wasn't to cold for daykit.

She smiled as she noticed the kit didn't even notice the snow but a nut. "thats a chestnut birds eat them same with small rodents." she said giggling.

Daykit looked up at her mom, mouth agape with wonder as she spoke. Birds and rodents eat them!?! Well then where were the birds and rodents now? Surely somewhere around, waiting to eat the chestnut! With this thought process, Daykit began to look around wildly, scanning the snowy ground and the canopy covered sky for her prey. Alas there was nothing. ”I don’t see bird or mouse. Where mommy?” She said, sounding quite worried about the absence.

DaisyHeart smiled at her young kit. "oh sweetie they wouldn't be here cause of all of us cats if they where every cat here would be in a hunting frenzy." she said making a little joke.

”Mmm.” Daykit mumbled sadly, disappointed that she wouldn’t get to see or hunt anything today. She looked back up to her mom, the smile on her mother’s face inspired a smile onto Daykit’s own. She quickly felt her disappointment disappear, and as kits often did, she felt happy again. She purred joyfully and looked back to the chestnut, then she smacked it towards Daisyheart. ”Mommy catch!” She exclaimed, watching it soar over the snowy ground and land at her mother’s feet.

DaisyHeart smiled as the chestnut landed infront of her feet. "i remember this game it's called nut ball." she said smiling. "its simple all you have to do is make sure no one steals your nut." she said holding onto the nut.

Nutball? Sounded fun! She listened with intrigue as Daisyheart explained the rules, and then nodded. Without another word, the white and yellow kit pounced towards the nut at her mother’s feet. She attempted to bat the chestnut out from under her mom’s paw, and after a few swipes she dislodged it and pounced upon it, covering it underneath her. She giggled happily, completely sitting on the nut like a bird would her egg. ”You can’t get it!” She said.

DaisyHeart laughed as daykit took the nut and layed on it. "well what about this." she said and picked the kit up by the scruff. She picked up the nut. "ho..ba..tat.." she said through the fur.

Daykit was still giggling when Daisyheart picked her up. She fumbled over the nut, unsheathing her claws to try and hold on to it, but soon it was out of her grasp. Her mom placed her on the ground next to her and grabbed the nut for herself. Daykit made a pouty face, but laughed when her mom tried to speak through a mouthful of fur. ”Haha, you sound silly mommy!” She squealed, then began bouncing up and down in an attempt to grab the nut out of Daisyheart’s mouth.

DaisyHeart smiled then spit out the nut seeing that daykit was trying to get it. "k..I..sit..u..dune.." she said then set her down.
