March's Gathering 2016

Thinstripe felt a shiver down her back What is this.... she felt fear fill her as the moon changed.

Treepelt stared at the moon with no reaction, she just stared, unable to read what this meant.

Dewpelt fur stood on end, anxiety rushed through her, "What's going on, this isn't right at all, oh no..." She said out load in a panic.

Amberclaw saw the panic through the cats but tried to remain calm through this, 'What does this mean?'

Foxpaw's jaw dropped, "Oh Starclan, this is not good. Kestrelstorm, what's going on?" He asked despite knowing that only Starclan knew.


OOC: too lazy to right in depth stuff today ;~;

"N...no....no...no!" Emberleaf's gray eyes darted to the moon, shining a copper red in the dark sky. "Sablestar, we should leave now!" The wails, oh the wails. Though brief, it was enough to leave Emberleaf with nightmares and horrible visions. His mind flooded with a billion thoughts and his heart raced with anxiety. No stars. A red moon. Wailing. He turned to look at the other medicine cats, his gray eyes questioning them, frightened and worried. They locked onto Gorsefeather. He was Emberlead's mentor, and probably the oldest Medicine Cat there, he should know what to do.

The quietness and stillness was what made Frozenflame scared. It was as if the whole world had stopped and the moon turned red, hiding all of the stars in the sky. Still, no sound came to Frozenflame and he pressed up against Cloverpool as his racing heart thumped faster. "W...what just happened?" he whispered to her.

Silverstone's blue eyes drifted up to the sky to see the moon shining red, not silver. Her eyes reflected the color, but not any stars because they were all gone. Nothing moved in the forest, and no sound came from the thick darkness hidden within it's branches and bushes. Silverstone didn't believe in Starclan or any of that stuff, but something sparked inside of her once this odd phenomenon took place. Maybe Starclan was real; what else could be the cause of this? She couldn't help but shiver at the odd sensation lingering in the air.

Maizepaw sucked in a large, shaky gasp as the moon shone down red and the stars had seemingly disappeared. Everything was quiet and still; it could've almost been tranquil, if it hadn't of been for the thick feeling of anxiousness swarming over the gathering. He heard one of the Medicine Cats, Emberleaf, yowl out for Windclan to leave and Maizepaw looked at Sablestar, wondering if the leader would take them back to camp or not.

"The Dark Forest Rises." Pebblethorn heard the dark whisper, and her body shook with fear. Her eyes widened and her pupils seemed to shrink in terror as the stars vanished, the bloody moon taking hold. Is this... Is this what's to happen? Are we... More powerful than Starclan now...? Did they do this? Though fear spiked in her, she also felt a sort of comfort in seeing this. Why? Was all she could wonder as she listened to the others whisper around her.

Heronwing had heard it too, and stared as she heard the whisper. The red moon did not scare her, but the stars vanishing did. And then the reaction for the red moon kicked in. "S... Starclan..." She whispered in terror.

Pinedusk froze in fear, staring. "What in the name of Starclan...?" He wondered out loud. Then the wails. It hurt to hear them- it reminded him of the battles he's heard of. Were they truly like this...?

"Th... Oh! Oh, Starclan!" Silverfern shrieked in terror. "Thrushstar! I think w-we need to g-go!" She yelled to Thrushstar, pelt bristling. The wails struck pure terror into her pelt as she watched the stars disappear. Starclan?!

Webpaw's eyes widened, he knew without a doubt what this was, they've taken responsibility. He fought the urge to look at Thinstripe. This was certainly the worst cat for him to be near right now..

Pepper soon turned, leaving the gathering before the strange sky appeared, bitterness coming off her in waves as she dissapeared from view.

Harepaw gasped as he stopped in his tracks. He stared up at the moon that loomed above them, feeling like an ant in comparison to it.

Thinstripe's gaze turned to Webpaw's, she narrowed her eyes and began to growl. She cursed under her breath, and got up. She walked over to him and stared "If you even get near me I will hurt you, bad" she warned.

Eaglepaw's eye looked up at the blood filled moon, she quivered what was happening? Eaglepaw shook her head "Some cat here will know" she looked over at her trusty friend Webpaw and bounded over to see another warrior. She looked at the warrior ThunderClan... she thought "Webpaw do you know what's happening?" she looked up at the moon that was no longer its silver color.


Finchpaw looked over at Maizepaw, she was scared yes but she stayed as brave as she could "I hope we go back soon" she murmured to him. She as well looked up at Stablestar.

Cloverpool's warm amber eyes were wide and filled with terror as Starclan disappeared and a coppery red moon came out. When Frozenflame pressed up against her she did the same an gently licked his ear to try and calm him down and calm her nerves as well.

Moonlight pressed against Deadpool when the stars vanished and the red moon came out behind a dark cloud.

Mapledrop's eyes widened and she pressed against her children as if to shield them from whatever was happening with the moon and sky.

Laying there next to the the young she cat, the moon was soon covered and turned an almost red color. A shiver ran up the old tom's spine. "What the--" He started a mumble, but stopped when he realized what it meant. His stomach felt like it had flipped over, and the air turned around them turned stale. "We need to go back to camp." He meowed, looking to the leaders.

Ashwing felt the fur along her back rise in horror. "Emberleaf's right, Sablestar... We need to get out of here, now!'

Shimmerheart hissed and wrapped her tail protectively around her daughter Viperpaw. What was this?

Halfmoon shook in fear, terrified. Something was very wrong. Where was StarClan?

Nettletail heard Lost's voice. "The Dark Forest is rising." She grinned- they had done it. Those weak fools in StarClan were defeated, and they now reigned. Finally, the wrong was righted. She looked around to try and spot other potential allies. Now... finally... WindClan would pay.

Webpaw ignored Thinstripe, glancing around until he met Nettletail's gaze, he wasn't alone it seemed. An ally he had met before was here as well. He felt a grin break on his own muzzle, wrapping his tail around Eaglepaw to comfort her.

Harepaw was terrified, he regretted leaving Spiderfur's side.

As he stood waiting for the next leader to speak, Thrushstar paused at the sound of... nothing? The crickets grew quiet and the air grew chillingly still. There was silence that spread over the entire clearing aside from the soft chatter from the warriors underneath as they discussed what the leaders were explaining as was typical at gatherings. Yet, even the warriors quickly fell into a hush as the light above them quickly disappeared, leaving all of them standing in darkness before a dark red glow consumed them. Immediately, the Shadowclan leader began looking around in a slight panic, his face hard and ready to throw the blame at one of the other leaders, but none of them had done anything. This was actually a rather peaceful gathering, so what happened for Starclan to be upset? Yet, this didn't feel like previous times when Starclan got angry. This felt... emptier.

A low growl escaped from the leader's throat as his fur stood on end and his claws scraped hard against the rock under his paws. As soon as the light cascaded them, the warriors below began to panic, medicine cats were asking leaders to leave including his own Silverfern. What was going on here? He couldn't have this. They'd experienced red moons like this in the past, but nothing had happened. This couldn't be much different. They had to keep some kind of order.

"Everyone! All the clans! Calm down!" Thrushstar yowled over them, hoping to catch their attention. "This has happened before! There is no need to panic. It will pass just as others have! If there is any danger, we are all here together! Strengths comes in numbers. We need to stop and think this through. We cannot be run by fear!" After he finished speaking, Thrushstar glanced over at the other leaders, half expecting some kind of response. They had to run their clans just as he had to run his, but so far, none of them have spoken up. Upon further inspection, he'd realized that with Falconstar's passing, he was now the oldest leader on the Great rock. Not that it meant anything, but were they partially expecting him to do something about this? Would they even be okay with him speaking for everyone right now? It didn't matter. The more that cats got worked up, the more futile any attempts to keep organization became and they needed to get their heads together.

Kestrelstorm tried to remain calm, but the sheer panic of a bloody moon rose in him. Would Tigerpaw be safe? The Young Warrior trembled. "I don't know what's going on, Foxpaw." he whispered lowly.

OOC:I am so late I forgot about this

IC: Ghostpelt flicked her sister with her tail. "Silverstone! Whats going on?!" The usually quiet silver tabby meowed her pale green eyes looking up at her father, Crowstar.

Fallencloud stayed close to his clan and looked over at his aunt Mapledrop with a worried expression on his face. What was going to happen?

Elkheart looked to the sky and his tail bushed in fear. Whats this!? he thought.

Deadpool heard the whisper and saw the fear in the cats around him. He heard Thrushstar's statment and huffed quietly. They dont know how powerful we are now.... he thought. He wasnt afraid of it but he needed to be, so to hide his confidence he folded his ears back.

Viperpaw looked to the sky and heard Thrushstar's yowl. She was scared but she didn't want to anyone to know, so she looked away into the woods and tried her best to smooth her fur.

Even through the terror, Spottedstar spoke up also. "Thunderclan calm down!" she yowled, hoping it would even calm herself down. She looked over at Thrushstar, hoping she didn't have the panic in her eyes. Looking at the other leaders, they said nothing. She flicked Fishstar's face with her tail, "Say something" she whispered with a hiss, she wasn't trying to cause a fight, but she needed to say something.
