January Gathering 2016

Dewpaw followed her leader eagerly to the Fourtrees and was very excited to attend her first gathering and chat with cats from other clans.

Amberpaw trailed behind his leader, silently.

Treepaw, a little tired stumbled behind his leader.

Mapledrop padded in after Breezestar flicking her tail as she sat down next time one her son Elkpaw, keeping close to him.

Cloverpool turned around and saw Mapledrop with a Tom cat that looked like her, not going over she purred and started to groom Moonpaw's stray tuffts of fur.

"Mom! Stop it!" Moonpaw complained sweating her brother with her tail Motioning that he was next if they didn't get out of here soon.

Soulpaw turned his head to a loud exclamation. Shaking his head he sighed.

Blizzardwind looked as well and smiled. The poor apprentice was having her stray tuffts of fur smoothed down by her mother, and by the looks of it she didn't want that.

Mapledrop looked over hearing "Mom! Stop it!" Flicking her tail in slight annoyance at her mother and half sister she almost laughed in spite of herself.

"Looks like ShadowClan will be in good hands for moons to come." Gorsefeather meowed with a hint of amusement at Silverpaw's energetic meow. Regardless of clan boundaries, it was good to see his apprentices were settling into their roles as full medicine cats and supporting their clans. He had his doubts when he was called upon by StarClan to teach them, WindClan being traditionally hostile to most of the clans, but it seemed it all had worked out for the best.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed another familiar face. "Dreampaw, how fare's ThunderClan?" The medicine cat asked, not realising either that she was a full medicine cat as well now.

Ivyfall followed behind Fishstar into the clearing, sticking by Dewpaw as she glanced over at the other clans warily. The she-cat wasn't fond of any of the clans, but ThunderClan and WindClan in particular infuriated the silver tabby. Roughly pushing past a warrior (Cloverpool), she took her place underneath the Great Rock, growling at the she-cat for getting in her way.

Saltpaw was a little disappointed to find out her brother had beaten her to talking to the dark tabby apprentice, but Breezepaw was right, there were others. In fact, she knew exactly who she wanted to talk to, Ryepaw, the apprentice she met at the border. But for the life of her, she couldn't spot him. Maybe he hadn't come, she wondered. "What about them!" She gestured with her paw to Deadpaw and Hawkpaw.

Mosspaw was a little surprised to see Mudfoot wasn't off talking to everyone else like the rest of the clan, but secretly, she was glad to have the company. Mudfoot was nice, kind, and patient. Spending a whole gathering with him didn't sound so bad, in fact, it sounded kinda great. "I don't know. There's so many scents here, and I'm a bit... a bit scared. What if there's a fight?" She was looking specifically at the leaders, who seemed so huge and intimidating. Spottedstar, Fishstar, Falconstar, and Breezestar, they all looked so fierce. Only her grandfather looked kindly.

Frozenflame entered the clearing with Thunderclan. His grey and ginger fur stuck out fairly well in the snow, which was bad for hunting and sneaking up on other cats, but he'd make do. He looked around at some of the others and figured that his fur colors weren't as bad as completely ginger or all black. He sat down by Cloverpool with a smile.

Silverpaw bounded into the clearing with Slyclan, her silver tabby fur shimmering in the moonlight. The she-cat's blue eyes grazed the area before she sat down in an empty area. She turned to her brother, Blackpaw, with a purr. "It's our first gathering, Blackpaw! It's a bit...less cool than I expected. All those other clans reek." She growled the last part loudly and obnoxiously. She honestly didn't care what anyone else thought of her.

"Silverpaw, try being a little more nice," replied Blackpaw as he gently swatted his sister's head. He hated how the snow made everything soggy and got everywhere. Man, he couldn't wait until Greenleaf.

Pinepaw was a little angry that Wildpaw didn't even notice his presence. "Whatever." He snorted, and stomped off. Soon, he ran into Dewpaw. Clans couldn't separate anyone tonight. "Hi, I'm Pinepaw." He said to Dewpaw.

Heronwing padded into the gathering right behind Fishstar. The she-cat quickly padded over to a random cat and said her greetings.

Pebblepaw padded in behind her father, Breezestar, and sat next to Mosspaw and Mudfoot. "Greetings!" The Skyclan she-cat mewed to them.

Blacktail soon took his place near the front of his clan, curious to see what would occur tonight.

Firestream made her way into the gathering after Fishstar. She glanced around, her ginger and gray fur rippling slightly in the dim moon. Her blue gaze fell over a very familiar pelt. Blacktail. Firestream casually made her way over to the Thunderclan Warrior and sat down.
"Good evening, how goes Thunderclan?" Firestream smiled.

Dreamleaf turned to face the other medicine cats with a big smile. The fluffy calico closed her eyes and grinned.
"It's great to see you, Gorsefeather, Dawnpaw. Everything is going well in Thunderclan, haven't received much sickness and I wish to keep it that way for now. And now i'm Dreamleaf," Dreamleaf purred.

Bluesong yawned and watched the leaders. Her ears twitched as Breezestar and Fishstar arrived. She watched as the new arrivals made their way to the Great Rock. Bluesong's head swiveled around as she scanned the crowd again.

Sandfeather padded in after Mapledrop. Her ginger pelt pressed lightly against Mapledrop's. She looked over at Mapledrop and departed from Breezestar as her leader went over to the Great Rock.

Wildpaw's head turned as Breezestar and Fishstar arrived. He returned his attention to Soulpaw and Russetpaw.

Wisteriasky padded over to Dreampaw and Dawnpaw. "Hey guys, how are you?" She asked, joining them in the circle.

Dreamleaf looked over at the Riverclan Medicine Cat and smiled.
"Wisteriapaw! Or... you're a full Medicine Cat now, aren't you?" Dreamleaf guessed. She tilted her head with a big smile.

Cloverpool ignored the Riverclan warrior and turned to face her son a daughter. "Alright you two go with Deadpaw and make some friends. It'll do you good to meet other cats your age that you don't know." The tortoiseshell warrior meowed flicking her tail.

Moonpaw nodded and nudged her brother. "C'mon lets go talk to those apprentices over there." The white she cat meowed to Hawkpaw and Deadpaw, referring to Saltpaw and Breezepaw.

Mapledrop flicked her tail over at Sandfeather in a greeting, the two have been like sisters ever since they were apprentices, but now with both their kits and living with Riverclan, they didn't see each other much.

Blizzardwind flicked his tail as he watched all the leaders made their way up to the great rock.

Soulpaw sighed, great another cat to hate Shadowclan.

Wisteriasky nodded. "Yup, I'm Wisteriasky now. What about you, Dreampaw? Did you get your name?" she asked politely.

Dreamleaf smiled.
"I like your name. But yeah, I'm Dreamleaf now," the calico stated with warm eyes.

Nightfire sat next to his apprentice, looking at Wisteriasky, he nodded, seeing she got her name too. He had thought for awhile about his decision on retiring, but he didn't want to. He had seen his urges to fight grow and grow, like as if his inner warrior was done with herbs and such. His previous injury had halfway forced him into this position, but now he was bigger and healthier than ever. He stared at the other cats, wondering if they ever feel the same way, wanting to be a warrior.

"Dreamleaf! What a pretty name." Wisteriasky turned to Nightfire, taking in the older cat. "You look sad, Nightfire. What is on your mind? Is everything all right with your clan?" She was starting to feel more comfortable with the chitchat. Usually, she didn't really talk to the other clans but with her new plan coming into her mind she figured she should get to know everyone as well as she could in the time she had left.

Thinpaw sat next to one of the apprentices and saw her leader down on the rock with the other leaders and with the deputy's sitting next to their leaders, She thought of what would happen like if Starclan would get mad because the clans had fought over what's happened in their camp or territory...Then after that thought she got worried...

"That's good Dreamleaf! Though I should let you know I'm Dawnflower now." She said with a slight purr. "It seems a lot of us have earned our names this past moon." She said. She nodded a greeting towards Wisteriasky. "It's good to see you here Wisteriasky." She said to the other Medicine Cat. She dipped her head towards Nightfire, but still she still didn't say anything to the older Medicine Cat.

Reedfang followed Fishstar and his sister Ivyfall, though he didn't exactly shove past warriors like she was doing. Instead he moved around everyone else trying not to cause a fight. The brown tabby soon settled on a spot not really wanting to interact with others at the moment.

Crowflight proudly followed his leader into the gathering. Being the deputy he had to sit close to the rock along with the other deputies so it took some moving around others, but it didn't take long seeing how he basically followed Breezestar the whole time. He was getting better at this whole deputy thing. Finally the deputy took his seat where the deputies should be.

Breezepaw looked over to where her sister was gesturing. She observed the cats for a moment, but it seemed the apprentices had already noticed them, and were coming this way. About three of them in fact. The black apprentice had some reservations about interacting with these cats, but if her sister wanted to then she could. "It seems that they are already on their way over here." She said to Saltpaw.
