Staff would like to announce that effective immediately, we will no longer be using anonymous forms for surveys on WCC.

Anonymous Surveys were started as a means for honest feedback to be provided to Staff, and while a good portion of our userbase has used it as intended, there has been a trend of misuse. Surveys have been used to harass Staff and HRs, or Anon Comments to speak poorly of others without consequences. All of these violate our code of conduct, which is why we are hopeful the changes below will help to improve our community standards and uphold the rules...

There seems to be confusion surrounding this, so I'll try to clear this up.

The Old Canon has absolutely zero connection the New Canon. The Old Canon never happened. The New Canon doesn't take place thirty years afterwards or in an alternate universe. All the convoluted stuff from before, as enjoyable as it was, is gone so we could start anew.

I closed all the usergroups. There. Why? Because remember that we're trying to keep the groups updated and correct. Let me explain.

There are four seasons, four trees, and I think like initially intended, four Clans. All four Clans surround and center around Fourtrees, which they all have direct access to. Someone asked me awhile ago if it was two months active since your creation was made or two months active since they became warriors to go from Young Warrior to Warrior, and I realized that I didn't know either. So I recently made that traditionalism thing because of this traditional naming blog I had been cruising around for a couple of hours. It has come to my attention that a hurdle in the way of the plot's success is the ability to use the battle system, so let's have this plot leap over it by reviewing the system and its rules. If not, then this plot may very well leap a couple inches off the ground, snagging its legs on the hurdle before crashing down and landing painfully on the turf face first.

I'm not going to try and stop any of you from dying or crippling your cats so they're elders, but I'd highly discourage it at this point in time.

There's three things.

One, the Clans are small at this moment in time and everyone needs Warriors.

Two, maybe I didn't spell anything wrong and you were looking up the wrong word in your research.

Three, if you're doing this because you're bored of your current life then maybe you've missed the point. We didn't add dying to WCC so you could have enough characters in the afterlife to populate your own star system....

Because of a balance issue, the Clan moves have been nerfed considerably. They're still stronger, but there's restrictions on where you can use them and the damage they deal out has been put down considerably, and the SP use has gone up. Also, everyone now has just one Clan move because the extra moves that RC and SkC cats had were just watered down versions of Leap-and-Hold.

This is because if a leader were to use their Clan move on another cat, they'd either be knocked out before they could land a hit or they'd lose most of their HP. And this is any cat of any rank, by the way.

I brought back our old school profiles that we had ten billion years ago because they're more practical because everything you need for going on someone's profile is right there instead of in separate tabs.

Due to the reboot, it has come to the attention that WCC will need more of a staff to keep up with the movement of topics and the onslaught of creations and roleplay. Plus, since it has been over a year since Chi was named, we thought it was time for a new administrator.
