Staff would like to announce that effective immediately, we will no longer be using anonymous forms for surveys on WCC.

Anonymous Surveys were started as a means for honest feedback to be provided to Staff, and while a good portion of our userbase has used it as intended, there has been a trend of misuse. Surveys have been used to harass Staff and HRs, or Anon Comments to speak poorly of others without consequences. All of these violate our code of conduct, which is why we are hopeful the changes below will help to improve our community standards and uphold the rules...

Wild and Frog! They were the only two that signed up, and so they received the positions in Windclan and Riverclan. Congratulations!

And because of that, I would like to ask for volunteers for the other clans. Because we will be starting over, you are free to use a cat you already had or a completely new cat, and you can sign up for any clan you want (besides Windclan and Riverclan, unless you wish to be an MCA in those clans).

The poll will be closed on August 17, 2012. Whomever has the most votes at that point will be leader, runner up will be deputy, and 3rd, 4th will be warrior

I have added two new rules, both this week. The first one is this:

In order to have kits, a she-cat must at least be a young warrior.

The second one:

Cats cannot die until they are at least the rank of a Warrior.

It has come to my attention that there are many wild plots out there, and not all of them are getting passed off by admins. I know that lots of you want to be a unique cat, but there are other ways than dying, getting pregnant early, being pure evil, etc. Clans need normal cats, too.

Okay, it's not really a rule, but this bothers me. When a new member posts a creation, they don't really understand what's going on. "What do you mean by origins?" Sometimes, they make small mistakes. Due to the growing demand for Roleplaying mods, we shall submit. Roleplaying Mods will be members a bit lower than regular mods, with only the power over Roleplaying Areas. These people are to help stop people from breaking the Roleplaying Rules before they start, and to help settle things involving Roleplaying. These RP mods, unlike regular mods, are not being named Chatbox Mods, and do not have the ability to Approve creations. It is just to oust up guard over the areas mods don't have much control over, and Admins don't visit as much.

Hello, WCC. I am posting this to inform you that WCC will go through a brief closing period, and by this will not be accepting new members once again. Why, you ask? Well, on the chatbox, a few members were getting impatient with Gray before my arrival, and one admitted she did lack patience. Due to the outstanding result of the LittlexSarrow relationship, we have changed the rule about inter-clan and medicine cat relationships. They will now only be granted to trusted and more experienced site members. The way people reacted and how Little and Sarrow treated the generous allowance of their relationship was too much, and it appears that we can't handle special privileges like that.

On another note, we added a new rule. Medicine cats must train an apprentice before dying. This is because of the number of MCA's being left behind with nobody...

As some of you may already know, Congress is voting on an 'Internet censorship' bill this week. It is going by the name of SOPA, which stands for Stop Online Piracy Act. Basically, any site that is using songs or entertainment pieces will be fined or deleted. If this goes through, all of the social networking sites, music sites, and other sites that use trademarks and rights without permission may be destroyed.

I am not entirely sure if that would infect this site. Pray that it will not. We have every right to our free speech, and by passing this bill to law, the government is taking...

I changed the hiechary of the forum, so that subforms now are hidden in the forum they are attached to. I am also tidying the Assembly forums because of this change, so yaaaaay!

I have reopened the site. I believe that with the member list all tidy, and the new automatic PM set up to direct new members the right way, we can have a much easier job of welcoming new members.

All I ask of you is to please help them feel welcome, and help them POLITELY if they have any questions. Your only reason to become irritated with them is they a) offend you personally, or b) don't follow the directions you're giving them.

Okay. I am hereby issuing a warning about the Dark Forest ridiculousness. I am also stating a new roleplaying rule:

All cats must be at least an apprentice before "deciding" to become evil. No cat can just be born evil. Kits are born playful and happy; not dull and full of hatred. There is nothing to hate! You are freaking toddlers.

Also, if the number of newbs deciding they want to go to hell when they grow up gets too big, I'm closing the Dark Forest. Hopefully, this will keep the Special Dark kitties under control.

Alrighty, this marks the beginnings of the Candy Hunt for this year! Yes, it's early. I got bored and wanted to make it challenging.

It has come to the admins' attention that most of the arguments occurring are a result of rule-breaking, and the punishments people think should come from this. This announcement is merely to remind all of you what the rules are, and their consequences.

Lately, I've been noticing how much cussing has been going on here. And for some reason, it's making me uncomfortable. Such as last night, somebody was on (and I'm not going to point fingers), and pretty much every sentence, they said a bad word. Now, this wouldn't be a problem if they actually CENSORED IT. But the way they were "censoring," I could read the word perfectly fine because either they spelled it a different way, or used some symbol/letter/number to replace one letter in the word.

Alright, basically, Skyclan is short on warriors and full on apprentices. So Snake asks for a few (Like 4 or 5) warriors to help him train some of the apprentices they cannot train with only 2 warriors. Just PM him if you are interested in taking part in training Skyclan apprentices. (In their ways, not your clan's ways. You must know how Skyclan functions to sign up.)
