| "Nothing is a waste if you learn from it"Ash ⇢ Ashkit ⇢ Ashpaw ⇢ DuranApril 15th 2020 - Current Basic InformationGender: Tom Sexuality: Bisexual Age: Young Adult Birth Season: Late Leaf-Fall Current Affiliation: The Asylum Former Affiliation(s): Loner, Rogue, RiverClan Rank: Scout Stats: 75HP/200SP Speech Color: #54e39bPhysical Description: Fairly small, lean but well-muscled, long-haired solid gray pelt with tinges of silver, longer silver-tinged fur around his neck, a long feathery tail, a silver-tinged muzzle, and vivid pale green eyes. He has little marks of silver on his cheeks that resemble freckles, a dog-bite scar on his right shoulder that is mostly hidden by long fur, a small tear in the tip of his left ear, a fox-bite scar across his upper back, and his first Asylum scar on his left shoulder.
Personality: Friendly, outgoing and optimistic, considerate of others and always tries his best to help and encourage those in need. Dedicated to his family - adopted and biological, empathetic to those who are down on their luck and willing to give selflessly in order to help them, even if the cat in question doesn't deserve such kindness. He has a particular sympathy for cats who are starving, because he knows what it was like to be in that situation, and isn't above bending the rules a bit for them. He believes in following one's dreams and is determined to fulfill his own - aiding the Asylum in their quest to bring more cats into their ranks, while also following his own morals. He loves to listen to any kind of story, from traveler's tales to old war stories from elders. Earnest and a bit too humble at times, he doesn't see himself as anything special and is very modest even when others praise him. He expected to become a Standard when he joined the Asylum but was very surprised to become a Scout; he is always trying to live up to the expectations that come with his role. Able to summon eagerness for any task no matter how mundane. Distrusts StarClan and other religions and sees them as nothing more than dead cats with too much power, he doesn't trust omens and prophecies. Rarely holds a grudge but can be driven to anger towards those who threaten the innocent, especially the cats he holds dear; usually very sweet and docile, he is surprisingly scary and ruthless when impassioned. He loves to learn any new thing, especially when it can be used to help others such as herbology. He can be considered at first glance to be soft or easy to push around because of his innate kindness, small body, and gentle voice, but in the face of adversity he proves to be brave, serious, and level-headed; he will always follow his morals, and won't be shy if he disagrees with a plan or an action. Deep down, he is haunted by the guilt of letting his siblings be taken, and of turning his back on RiverClan and his adopted family. However, he keeps these feelings locked away in order to fulfill his duty to the Asylum. MBTI Personality Type: ENFP-A Aligntment: Neutral Good Goals: Current: Help the Asylum in their goals, earn his next Scout rank - Former: Heal his parents of their sickness, Keep his siblings from dying, Learn Clan ways, Make new friends, help to stop the Righteous Few, Train hard to become a warrior, visit Morningpaw(dove), help RiverClan to healFears: Heights, Ghosts, Dark Enclosed Spaces Likes: Swimming, hunting, learning about and finding herbs, listening to stories from elders and travelers, sweet treats (honey, berries), flowers (violets being his favorite), meeting new cats, looking after kits, his fox pelt. Dislikes: Needless violence, dogs, Twolegs, StarClan, strategy (not good at it), those who wish harm upon others, climbing, dark enclosed spaces, deception and dishonesty, ghost stories, the Nightstrikers faction. Quirks: Ashpaw blushes a lot, out of happiness rather than embarrassment; he tucks herbs and flowers into the inside of his fox pelt in order for it to smell better, as well as for moral support. ViewsThe Asylym: Likes and considers his family, but does have a few misgivings, mostly with the Nightstrikers and any violent takedowns of rival groups. Born eldest son to two barn cats named Lyris and Violet along with his younger littermates, brother Quail and sister Iris. His two siblings were always much smaller and weaker than he was, so he quickly became very protective and caring towards them, as if they were from a younger litter. They all lived happily together for three moons - Ash learning some herb knowledge from his mother thanks to her background living with rogue healers and basic hunting skills from his father - until his parents caught a strange illness and passed away. Try as he might to heal them Ash failed; devastated but determined to provide for his siblings he moved them to the Twolegplace next to RiverClan in order not to be taken away by the Twolegs and made their home under a dumpster. Ash gradually got better at hunting despite his young age, but since pickings were slim in Twolegplace he decided to hunt over the clan border. Though at first, he felt guilty about stealing from others, he came to terms with the fact that it was necessary. Living like this for a moon, Ash tried his very best but his siblings gradually got weaker and weaker. One day, a stray dog found their hiding place and chased them out, forcing Ash to attack it in order to protect his siblings, who couldn't run very fast. Luckily he managed to badly scratch the dog's eyes, making it run away, but in the process, he suffered a bad bite to his right shoulder. Realizing that he had no other choice since Twolegplace was crawling with hostile rogues that would only try to kill them, he decided to move his siblings into Clan territory, where they found an old abandoned fox den. Though leaky and small, it worked for the time being, and Ash continued to hunt in RiverClan lands covertly, all while nursing an infected shoulder.
One day, after a spell of rain that had forced all the land prey down into their burrows, Ash out of desperation to find food decided to follow a Clan cat and discovered the location of their island camp. Making the hard decision to sneak inside and steal a meal, he almost succeeded but tripping on a stone made his shoulder burn with immobilizing pain, causing him to fall down and alert a clan cat to his presence. This clan cat though - a she-cat named Stormbringer - took pity on him and offered him the fish, calling for the medicine cat Spiderquill to come examine the injured kit. At first, Ash didn't trust their seemingly uncharacteristic kindness, but soon enough he realized that they truly wanted to help him, explaining to the leader Ivystar that his siblings needed to be rescued as well. Stormbringer and Ivystar became Ashkit's guardians, and he began to look up to them as not just kind leaders, but as adoptive parents.
A moon after he joined RiverClan, Ashkit was apprenticed. Stormbringer decided to take charge of his training despite her many duties as deputy, to Ashpaw's immense joy.
In the few days to follow his ceremony though Stormbringer was too busy to take him out for his first patrol, which he understood. Instead, Ashpaw took it upon himself to learn how to swim properly with the aid of two fellow apprentices, Streampaw and Willowpaw.
In the following days though, the whole camp was awoken by the overwhelming stench of sickness. Concerned but glad that he and his siblings seemed to be okay, Ashpaw offered to help in any way he could, summoning his limited herb skills.
As the days went on, a cure to the sickness could not be found, but as the full moon came the sick cats seemed to grow stronger, strong enough to travel to Fourtrees for the Gathering. It being Ashpaw's first Gathering, he was excited to meet cats from the other clans, but also apprehensive about the possibility of the Righteous Few showing up. While exploring, he noticed a she-cat named Morningpaw who looked deeply upset and asked her what was on her mind. She explained that she had had a strange dream the previous night about a squirrel jumping from the gorge to avoid a hunter, choosing to die on its own terms rather than become prey; she though the squirrel represented the clans in their fight against the Righteous Few. Ashpaw agreed, however, tried his best to be optimistic about the situation as he compared the squirrel's leap of faith to his own choice to sneak into RiverClan's camp, which had turned out to be the best decision of his life. Though his encouragement rang hollow for Morningpaw, she praised his brave spirit and asked him to make sure he didn't die if it came to a fight. He agreed, but in return asked Morningpaw to do the same, realizing that he wanted to get to know her better, and admiring her leader-like courage. Suddenly, a haunting yell sounded out from across the clearing, and Morningpaw explained that it was a she-cat named Dappleshine; she had just discovered that her daughter had been murdered by the Righteous Few. Horrified, Ashpaw bid Morningpaw farewell as she went to speak with her clanmates, but the queen's cries had shaken him to the core. Speaking to Willowpaw, he was able to calm down a bit, but before the Gathering could properly begin the Righteous Few arrived, covering the moon with clouds. At first, Ashpaw was frozen with terror, his fear of ghosts overwhelming him, but he was brought back to his senses when Morningpaw herself stepped forward to confront the StarClan rebels. While she attempted to attain peace, Ashpaw jumped in between one of the Righteous Few's lackeys and his adopted brother Spiderquill, who had just been slapped in the face by the boarish tom. However, while he was trying to talk the tom down, Mornpaw's attempts to make peace failed, and she was struck down by Lavanderbreeze in a 1v1 fight.
The clearing erupted into chaos, and though Ashpaw was in shock watching his new friend seemingly be killed right in front of him, he began to fight Larchneedle, the tom who had attacked the medicine cats. Soon, his third adoptive mother Honeytongue joined in, along with the apprentice Silverpaw, but she was quickly struck down. However, the pain only continued as Ashpaw caught sight of Ivystar's dead body. Growing absolutely enraged, the apprentice lashed out for Larchneedle's throat, nearly causing a fatal injury if not for the StarClan warrior's quick reflexes. The tables turned quickly as Larchneedle stunned Ashpaw, threatening to kill him in order to cause Honeytongue agony, but the skilled she-cat struck him with a devastating attack. Ashpaw tried his best to help by holding onto one of Larchneedle's legs, despite Honeytongue urging him to flee and let her handle it, but he refused to leave her alone. In the end, Larchneedle freed himself from Ashpaw's grip and dealt the apprentice several hard blows to the head, making him very dizzy and tearing a small notch in the tip of his left ear. Honeytongue took this chance to deal the killing blow, and Larchneedle faded away.
Following his mother's orders, Ashpaw stumbled out of the battle and found Spiderquill. The two brothers embraced and tried to comfort each other, but the looming effects of Ivystar's head hung over them like a shadow. Ashpaw offered to help Spiderquill for the rest of the battle, but before he could (and before he was able to get healed), Honeytongue embraced them as well. Together, all three of them watched as two StarClan toms went over to Ivystar and, in a flash of light, revived her. Shocked and overwhelmed with joy, Ashpaw rushed forward to hug his mom, and reluctantly thanked the StarClan warriors, though his dislike of the ancestors remained intact. As the family reunited, the last of the Righteous Few were defeated, all except Galestar. Since she had, in the end, released StarClan from their prison so that they could come to help the living clans, a StarClan leader exiled her to The Mist instead of the Dark Forest. With that, the battle was won. Collapsing due to a mix of exhaustion, pain, and happiness, Ashpaw noticed through the haze that, miraculously, Morningpaw was alive, though very hurt. Once Spiderquill treated his head wounds and Honeytongue offered to carry him on her back for the long walk home, Ashpaw finally gave in to sleep, though as he dozed off he asked blearily if he could visit Morningpaw in WindClan once RiverClan was back on its feet. He didn't hear the answer to his question though, as he was already unconscious when it came.
Ashpaw later woke up in the medicine den, and watched Ivystar's post-battle meeting from the sidelines.
In the days following the battle, several of Ashpaw's denmates earned their warrior names. His two friends Streampaw and Willowpaw became Streamtail and Willowbreeze, and Snowpaw became Snowflight. Ashpaw was happy for all of them, and it encourages him to get back into the swing of training so that he could someday join them.
Ashpaw's brother and sister also became apprentices following the battle, earning the names Quailpaw and Irispaw. Excited to share a den again with his siblings, they placed their nests in one big group. However, while arranging this he noticed the nest formerly occupied by Snowflight, weaved with flowers. Adoring his creation, Ashpaw approached the new warrior and asked if he would show him the best flower picking spots so that he could decorate his own nest along with those of his siblings.
In the moon following the battle, Ashpaw's denmate Fernpaw decided to host a hunting competition. Having practiced with both water and land prey Ashpaw went in confident, despite losing his first quarry.
The next Gathering came very quickly, and Ashpaw was eager to attend in order to ask about Morningpaw's condition. Inquiring Olivestone, the WindClan deputy, about his new friend, he discovered that she had been in a coma since the battle and that she had also earned the name Morningdove.
While on a hunting patrol with his siblings Ashpaw took them to the border near the Twoleg farm, and when Quailpaw caught sight of the place he wanted to go see inside. Ashpaw was hesitant, never having been there, but his brother insisted and soon enough Irispaw wanted to go as well. Relenting, he led them inside and the group reminisced over their childhood; however, out of nowhere a Twoleg appeared and saw the cats. They turned to run back outside but Irispaw fell behind and got grabbed, the Twoleg holding her by the scruff. Furious, Ashpaw and Quailpaw attacked the Twoleg, which caused him to drop Irispaw. However, another Twoleg hearing the commotion had closed the barn door through which they had come and the two humans eventually cornered them. Losing the fight, Ashpaw and his siblings were taken away by animal control into a distant Twolegplace and placed in a big metal cage.
Quailpaw and Irispaw were convinced this was the end, but Ashpaw was determined to get them all out alive. He planned that the next time a human opened the cage they would attack and run, and despite their hesitation, his siblings agreed to help. So, a Twoleg came with carriers to take them into the back, and Ashpaw jumped up and started clawing his face. Quailpaw and Irispaw did the same, and the three managed to escape. Slipping through an opening door they reached another hallway, and another, hiding behind desks and other objects. Finally, they saw daylight through a window, but this door wasn't opening. His siblings were beginning to worry, but Ashpaw came up with an idea. He started meowing, loudly. Soon enough a Twoleg came, and the cats slipped behind a plant by the door. He continued meowing, and his plan worked; the Twoleg opened the door, and Ashpaw hissed for his siblings to run for it. They did, and Ashpaw managed to slip out the door first, trying to lead his siblings to safety. However, to his horror the Twoleg was too quick....and slammed the door shut, locking his siblings inside forever. Ashpaw was heartbroken; he slammed on the door with his paws, wailed and cried, trying to get a Twoleg to come open the door again so he could come back to them...but nothing worked. He was free, but at a grave cost.
Finally admitting defeat, Ashpaw found a place to sleep for the night in a ragged old bush, and in the morning set out. Where he didn't know. Even if he could find the clans, he dreaded having to tell them about his failure, and couldn't bear the look on his mother's face. It was better if they thought them all dead, even if his heart yearned for them. Being a kittypet was the last thing on his mind, but perhaps he could be a rogue or a traveler. He was stronger now than he was before, thanks to the clans, and he knew he could fend for himself. The grief of his siblings hung over him, and all he knew was that he wanted to go far, far away. And so, he started walking. Out of Twolegplace, into the wilderness, hunting for himself as he went.
However, one day he was confronted by a fox he had accidentally woken, and though he tried his best to fight it he was no match alone. The fox bit into his upper back (leaving a nasty scar), but before it could take him away to be prey a strange group of cats jumped out of the bushes and tackled the fox. Knocked to the ground, Ashpaw watched as they made quick work of the fox - killing it - before they turned to him. At first, they seemed a bit suspicious, but once he explained himself they calmed down. In fact, they invited him to join their group - the Asylum. Ashpaw was very hesitant at first, seeing the animal pelts and teeth they draped themselves with, but as they explained more about their culture he realized that they were a lot like the clans. They were a community, and being alone on his path had made him realize just how much he had missed that. He agreed to join them and was taken back to their home.
He underwent the assessment performed by the Asylum Head and was sorted into the Scout group to his surprise. He had expected to be a Standard. He quickly adapted to the group's ways, made friends, and fulfilled his duties. He dropped his suffix, at first just calling himself Ash, but a lot of his friends remarked that it was kind of a boring name for an Asylum cat. So, with their help, he was re-named Duran. He saw this as a new start for him, and continued to embrace his new life, even gaining his own pelt; a black fox. At first he had trouble adapting to their ways, but as he grew more and more distant from the memories of RiverClan he came to embrace it.
However, not long after he had gotten settled it was announced that the Asylum would be mounting a takeover of a large group of cats - the Clans. Duran was shocked and fearful as to what was to come, but realized that if the clans surrendered he would be able to see his adopted family again, and maybe even live with them. He could have everything he wanted, and he volunteered eagerly for the expedition.
He arrived in RiverClan near dawn under the command of Lyralei, along with his friends Raisha and Niylah. The takeover operation went smoothly when it came to detaining RiverClan, but Duran quickly started to feel anxious. Being among his old clanmates was harder than he thought it would be, and his fear of being discovered intensified. However, he tried his best to support Lyralei, speaking to Ivystar on a personal level in an effort to get her to surrender. They succeeded; however, in the process Ivystar recognized Duran's voice and approached him, asking if he was Ash. Unprepared, Duran quickly dodged the question, saying she was mistaken before rushing off.

| "I'm just telling the truth, and you can play this at my funeral"Eaglekit ⇢ Eaglepaw ⇢ EagleblazeDecember 21st 2020 - Present Basic InformationGender: Tom Sexuality: Heterosexual Age: Adolecent Birth Season: Early Leaf-Bare Clan/Current Affiliation: ThunderClan Former Affiliation(s): N/A Rank: Apprentice Stats: 20/80 Speech Color: #a8160cPhysical Description: Eaglepaw is a tall, slender, lithe but strong tom-cat with a short white pelt that's splotched with brown classic-tabby pattern on the back, head, neck, ears, tail, and one hind leg. Though dark, his brown fur has some reddish and gold undertones, especially in the sun. Similarly, his eyes at their base are gold, but depending on the light and his current mood they can also range between a darker yellowish-brown and an intensely vivid golden-yellow. He is polydactyl like his father and ancestors, possessing an extra toe and claw on each front paw. He also inherited his mother's long whiskers and long tail. His build allows him to be both agile and powerful, and though from a distance he may not look too impressive, his short fur hides substantial muscle. Personality:- Spoiler:
Eaglepaw since birth has been an extremely passionate and serious young tom, exceedingly loyal to his clan and family. He would never hesitate to throw himself into the line of fire to protect someone he cares about, and once he commits to a cause he will fight bravely till the very end. He has been very curious about the outside world since he could comprehend the concept and loves to hear stories told by cats who had seen such far-away places. He is dedicated to his dreams and promises and will do everything within his power to make them a reality. He has a naturally confident nature and even cats who aren't a fan of him have to admit that he is very charismatic; not afraid to express opinions that differ from the crowd, his words are usually impactful and persuasive. He scorns complacency, and always tries to push himself and the cats around him towards better, even if that means going against the status quo. He is very resilient and hard-working, making up for his lacking natural skill with practice and effort. He is compassionate towards those who he can see are struggling, but his advice is usually much more practical than emotional, which can be helpful in some cases.
However, Eaglepaw is very strong-willed, which can come as either a strength or a detriment. When he has a goal in mind he is determined to see it through, to the point of stubbornness. He is not afraid to speak his mind and will do so bluntly and without any sugar-coating, often leading to other cats taking offense or getting their feelings hurt. Both on and off the battlefield he is almost stupidly daring and selfless, launching himself at his goal without taking into account risks or reason. He's loud in his beliefs, which often get him into trouble. After all, he was born in the age of the Asylum, and the greatest thing Eaglepaw values is freedom...and he's not afraid to take it away from someone else in order to gain his own. To him, violence in the name of getting justice for others is justified, and if the circumstances were right, he would even be okay with taking life with his own paws.
One of Eaglepaw's biggest flaws is his hard-headed ways, and inability to see things as other than black and white. There always has to be a good guy and a bad guy, and he will always take situations at face value rather than look into the other cat's perspective. Deeper meanings behind other's words are often lost on him until someone explains them, making him kind of oblivious. If some sort of argument or fight is going on Eaglepaw is usually at the center of it; he has a bad temper and a marked lack of self-control, leading to lots of insults and scars. Some cats say he lacks empathy, which to an extent is very true, and some of his violent actions and words are very extreme and disturbing. He is naturally aggressive, and fighting seems to let off more of his stress than talking. He's reckless, jumping into fights and situations without first stopping to think about the consequences, and this often leads to big trouble for both him and his leader. To say that he's unfeeling or unintelligent though would be very wrong; a lot of Eaglepaw's actions stem from his fear of being incompetent and weak. When he screws things up - or if a situation he's involved in goes wrong for any reason - his instinct is to blame himself first and take on that burden; he doesn't pass it off onto others. In fact, he hates when other cats get involved in his troubles and affairs, as it makes him feel weak and too reliant on those around him to fix his mistakes. He would rather take it all onto himself and bear the consequences than rely on others, even if the emotional weight will someday crush him.

| "Song Lyric/Quote"Mintkit ⇢ Mintpaw ⇢ MintflowerJanuary 3rd 2021 (OOC) - Present Basic InformationGender: She-Cat Sexuality: Heterosexual Age: Elderly Birth Season: Early New-Leaf Clan/Current Affiliation: WindClan Former Affiliation(s): N/A Rank: Elder (NPC) Stats: 80/100 Speech Color: #339966Physical Description: Mintflower is of average height, with long limbs and a slender bordering on skinny frame; her short, soft pelt is a beautiful light gray, with darker broken mackerel tabby markings. Her belly, chest, muzzle, and paws are white, and she has a unique hourglass-shaped patch of white on her nose and forehead. She has a number of scars, including a torn ear, but most have faded with time; as well, she is beginning to show her age with silver hair flecking her muzzle, and some patches of fur starting to thin. Her eyes are a vivid sky-blue, as clear and patient as ever.
Personality: Mintflower is a very sweet, kind-hearted old she-cat, the definition of motherly. She treats every cat she comes across with the same optimistic compassion and is looked upon as someone you could always go to if you just really need a hug. Her friendly and outgoing nature has made her many friends in all the clans, though her loyalties always lie first and foremost with WindClan. Having been alive since the age of Ashstar she has seen much of modern history and loves to recall her experiences for anyone who might ask, from kits to leaders. She is considered wise, though not the most intelligent; in matters of the heart and soul she always seems to know the right thing to say, but when it comes to strategy or clan politics she prefers to let others handle the situation. She's not forthcoming with her opinions unless the situation is dire, preferring to go with the flow rather than stir up the crowd. Despite her age, she is still quite independent, enjoying walking the moors and even doing a bit of hunting now and then (before Asylum of course), but she was never the greatest fighter. Despite that, if the situation called for it she would lay down her life in a heartbeat to save one of her clanmates, especially a kit. She's not all innocence and rainbows though; if the mood strikes her she can be quite mischievous, known to tease and even play friendly pranks on her friends. Overall, Mintflower lives up to her name; a calming spirit, blooming with affection and kindness.
