They say before you start a war
Elmstorm let out a hiss as he not only had to fight the contraption they were in, but also the cat beside him. "You're one to talk about stink. Don't you ShadowClan cats eat crowfood for a living?" He spat at the she-cat, his pelt bristling.
He had to get out of here. But her incessant swatting was not helping any. If anything, it was undoing any progress he was making.
"Stop that, already, you're not helping! Look, I'm closer, just let me work, you can sit back and, I don't know, look pretty or whatever. Just get out of my way."
Watching as cats one by one got free from their containers, Elmstorm once again began to swat at the latch. He clenched his jaw as it began to wiggle, but even still it would not budge.
One of the cats called up to him, the other warrior that had been there, and Elmstorm found himself praying that he would follow through and not leave the pair behind.
He didn't think he could handle another moment with this ShadowClanner.

Elmstorm's words made Cardinalpaw's eyes narrow. "You entitled son of a badger..." She muttered to him before pushing her way forward to make another attempt. If she put her fate in the paws of this stupid cat that she shared a cage with, then they would never be free. There were other cats outside, but she didn't even want to speak to them or think about the fact that they were there. It was already bad enough that she was trapped with one. Now, even if she did make it out, she wouldn't even be instantly free. Instead, she'd be trapped with even more Clan cats.
Why had she, of all cats, been thrown into this situation?
Her attempt to twist off the shiny latch once again failed. It was within reach, but it seemed to slip out of her grip every time she clawed at it. The apprentice quickly shot Elmstorm a glare over her shoulder to warn him to not tell her to stay back ever again. This was her problem just as much as it was his.

Bearpaw cautiously approached the arguing cats' cage, fear evident on her round face. As she regarded the situation she realized she wasn't entirely sure what scared her more– the threat of Twolegs or their sharp words and sharper claws. As the cave they were in shuddered again, she jumped. Twolegs. She definitely feared the Twolegs more. With that thought in mind, the large apprentice cleared her throat. "Let me try," Bearpaw mewed gruffly, trying to summon her mother's straightforward confidence. The molly sized up the cage. Sitting before it, she batted at the latch repeatedly, trying to hook it with one of her long, sharp claws. After a few tries she was successful. Carefully, carefully she rotated her paw, then slid the bar to the side. The cage door swung silently open.
An instant later, the monster died. The party, now freed, stood in semidarkness as an eerie silence settled around them with a heavy air of finality. They had stopped moving. A moment of stillness passed. Then two. The quiet was a different kind of deafening after the constant noise and movement they had just been surrounded by.
Then, outside, came a startling bang followed by the sound of heavy footsteps. It was clear they had moments to act. Now that each had the space needed to move and fight, perhaps they stood a chance against whatever unknown enemy awaited them. They had no time to plan. The back of the monster was already opening. A painful, blinding light poured in. Instinct sent adrenaline rushing through each cat's veins. They had one chance. Run!!!
Everyone has been freed! Post to flee. Roll 1-3 and escape unharmed. 4-5 and lose 5 EP. 6 and lose 1 HP!
Natural Instinct +1 to all Hunting rolls regardless of location, clan and prey.
Feral Ferocity (Passive) Negates all other clans’ passives. Having true wild cat blood makes your character hardier, with better survivability and highly adaptable to changes in the environment, as well as confrontations with rivals. With this passive, no cat regardless of clan or training will have a passive advantage over yours. Star Striker is the exception and is still active.

With a huff, the spotted warrior darted out of the way, eyes narrowed at the SkyClan apprentice as he barged out of the cage. Fair enough - it wasn't exactly comfortable in there. The final cage still wasn't open, though, and with a nervous twitch of his tail, Wiggleworm started towards it. His niece, however, beat him to it and before he even got there, the door was open.
Wiggleworm grinned proudly at Bearpaw as she slipped the front panel of the ShadowClan and Riverclan cats' cage open. That was it, they were all free. It was a lot better than being trapped in those horrid metal cages, but it did come with its own set of problems. First and foremost...what to do next. He opened his jaws to speak over the roar of the monster and then...silence. The world bumbled to a halt around them, nearly throwing the massive tom off of his paws from the jarring stop, and he lifted his head nervously. for a moment, everything was silent.
Then, pounding footsteps began to draw nearer to the doors that barred their freedom. He braced himself to fight his way free of the horrid creatures that snatched them and as light shone into the monster, Wiggleworm, launched himself at the twolegs' without a second thought. He had to make sure the others, Bearpaw specifically, escaped! "RUN, NOW!" Hissing and spitting, Wiggleworm lashed out at the tall creatures' legs with his claws and wriggled between them as they screeched and swiped at him with their fleshy paws and shiny metal sticks.
