The Second Cutter's Escape [Wave 2 Escape]

Bloodstrike had been biding his time for quite awhile. The chance to escape came suddenly and his ears pinned back at the sound of the monster nearby. The twoleg that had him in his cage had had to get a larger one for him... which meant the bars were further apart as well. He slipped a big, clawed paw through and began to claw at the lock that held the cage shut. Stars help whatever human was within leaping distance if he was successful...

No luck thus far... his toes were still too big to be very dexterous for this particular situation. Bloodstrike slipped his paw back inside the cage as twolegs passed by him. He didn't need them to see what he was doing. If he was going to get out, he wanted to take a few fingers with him.

Bloodstrike watched as people passed by before he tried again. The windows to succeed were getting smaller and smaller. The activity of the twolegs was increasing. Something was about to happen... He flexed his paw back out and clawed again at the lock... and this time he thought he felt something click. Did he imagine it? No... he didn't! The lock came loose. Another hard bat with his paw and it fell to the concrete. Bloodstrike bumrushed the cage door and it flew open. The giant tom bolted, but not for the forest. If the other cats were going to escape, he would give them the best shot that he could.

Bloodstrike charged at a twoleg, who startled at the sight of the cat barreling toward him, before he leaped toward the twoleg's neck. He growled and caterwauled fiercely as he sunk teeth and claws into the face and neck of the twoleg. If the rest of the cats didn't take this as an opportunity to escape, then they were never going to anyway. Bloodstrike would fight the twolegs for a moment, but he could not and would not keep this up forever.

Sycamoreblossom waited patiently in her cage, waiting for the right moment to put her plan into action. The trap that she had been put in for transportation seemed to be faulty. The silvery bars that trapped her seemed to have a weak point, which meant a possibility to finally escape this stars forsaken place. All she had to do was be patient. Her patience was rewarded as the twoleg transporting Sycamoreblossom set her down just beside a growling monster. As it walked away, presumably to grab more victims, the Thunderclanner slammed her body into the silver bars as hard as she could. Something moved, and while the bottom portion of the bars kept the door from completely opening, a few more hits against the bars left a slight gap, just enough for her to squeeze through. Sycamoreblossom could hear shouting from a couple of twolegs, but she had already slipped away, setting a course for wherever seemed to lead her home.
