A warm breeze snakes through the forest, rustling green-tinged foliage, and promising a pleasant newleaf evening. As silvered moonlight bathes the empty hallow, clans begin to gather and make their way to uphold long-standing tradition. Stars peer down on the gathering and wonder... will tonight be one of peace?
The breeze that ruffled Wolfstar's fur as she gazed down the slope to fourtrees brought the Skyclan leader little warmth. She would much rather have let her clan stay home, let them rest and enjoy the nice night in camp... But instead she led them here, wondering what drama would happen at this gathering. That all they seemed to be lately, drama. And stars knew Wolfstar had enough of it in her own clan, she certainly didn't need to see more of it involving the others. Especially not with Thunderclan. Stars help her own clan if they tried to start anything.
With a sidelong glance at Honeydew, Wolfstar led the clan into fourtrees proper. They were the only ones here so far... Hopefully the other clans would hurry up and they could get this over with quickly.
Lighttail was anxious as she entered the Gathering. Her mental health had been improving so much lately, but her belly seemed to twist with emotion as she entered Fourtrees. Seeing the empty hollow, she let out a breath she’d been mindlessly holding. SkyClan were the first ones here this moon. Lighttail would have time and peace with her newfound clan before the others started pouring in. She silently begged Leopardstar not to be bringing any serious news. As much as her kin had fallen away from her life, Lighttail still didn’t want to see them hurting. Similarly, she begged the stars for a peaceful ThunderClan and RiverClan. Funny, now, how WindClan had become the only one she wasn’t dreading the sight of.
As the moon rose overhead, Lighttail settled in, her paws tucked neatly beneath her. She would be okay.

Tigerstar couldn't help but enjoy the wind as as he lead his clan into the clearing. The warm wind ruffling through his long fur helping to put a slight spring in his step as he walked towards the Great Rock. Green eyes noted that Skyclan was here but no one else at the moment. Maybe, hopefully, there wouldn't be any drama like last gathering. Part of his doubted it, but he could hope.
The striped tom nodded to his clan, a silent reminder to behave themselves before he made his way to the rock, and jumped up. He settled himself down, curling his tail around his paws, before looking to Wolfstar. He needed to get this question out of the way before others arrived. "After this gathering, I need to speak with you." Hopefully she wouldn't take the news too terribly.

Honeydew followed along by Wolfstar's side as they made their way down into the moonlit clearing. Being beneath the branches of Fourtrees promised a night of peace and opportunities to get to know the other clans a little more. But as they climbed down the slope towards the Great Rock, it was evident that SkyClan was the first to arrive. Honeydew caught her leader's glance and gave her a subtle nod.
She weaved her way through her clanmates, taking a head count of everyone present tonight, and noticed Lighttail. Remembering that this would be her first gathering attending as a SkyClan warrior, Honeydew picked her way over to her and brushed against her fur comfortingly. "It'll be okay," she mewed softly. "Don't be afraid to go say hi to them." She wasn't entirely sure about how Lighttail felt about her former clan, but she imagined that being in such a different place, surrounded by so many different cats, would make one feel a little homesick.
The deputy gave Lighttail an encouraging smile and licked her forehead before padding off to settle beneath the Great Rock. Last gathering she had nearly been late when the meeting was called. This time she'd be better, and she'd take the opportunity to get to know her fellow deputies better.
As she approached, the scent of heather met her nose. She parted her jaws and turned to see Windclan appearing through the trees. Tigerstar quickly leaped up to the Great Rock, murmuring something close to Wolfstar. They had no bad blood with WindClan, but Honeydew couldn't help but feel her stomach tighten slightly. Please, StarClan, she prayed, let this be a peaceful gathering.
Honeydew is at her place below the Great Rock, and is open to talk to.
Windclan was not long in arriving after Skyclan, and Wolfstar offered the tabby leader a nod in greeting. Tigerstar had had a front row seat to the last gathering's... Hostilities, far from a good first impression as leader, she knew. That he asked to speak with her was a surprise, and Wolfstar fought back the sense of dread that immediately tried to bury itself in her stomach.
"Of course, Tigerstar." She mewed softly, Stars, let it not be something disastrous for once..."Is all well in Windclan?"
Gentle warm breezes and the scent of newleaf would have been far more enjoyable if tonight had not been a full moon. But since it was, Perchstar had put on her neutrality and led her Clanmates to the Gathering. It was not something she relished... especially since she now lacked any friendly presence on the Great Rock. Leopardstar and Tigerstar were neutral at best, despite the good conversation she'd recently had with Sootstorm, and Acornstar was now no longer her ally and obviously held no respect for her as a cat. Wolfblossom... hated her guts. Understandably. But all these factors combined, as well as the penchant so many cats had for starting drama, made Gatherings a time to be dreaded rather than welcomed. She glanced back at her Clanmates for a moment as if to silently remind them of the rules that had recently been reinstated, before going forward to sit on the Great Rock. Only SkyClan and WindClan were here for now. And... the two other leaders were speaking to each other. What would two Clans that shared no border have to speak about? Well, it was none of her business.
Perchstar took her place on the rock, bracing herself for the night-cooled stone beneath her pads. It would be easier to just ignore everyone and everything and wait for the night to be over... but being a leader meant she had obligations. Her face remained as smooth as the rock beneath her. She offered a single nod to Wolfblossom--Wolfstar?--and Tigerstar each, and then resumed looking down at her Clan. Hopefully this night would be one of peace, free of trouble.
RiverClan may now arrive at the Gathering. Other cats coming later. <3
Leopardstar entered the clearing with her head held high, glancing around at the other Clans. She wasn't the last to arrive, then: that was good news, or at least she thought so.
She swiftly ascended the Great Rock, offering a nod of greeting to the other leaders. "I hope the evening finds you well."
ShadowClan may now enter the Gathering!

Sunflare padded into the Gathering after his leader, head held high. He scanned the crowd, noting who all was in attendance. SkyClan, and with them Lighttail, the traitor. RiverClan were here too, and… WindClan. His pelt bristled. They had better not try anything tonight.

You can’t fix the past, but you can change the future.
They were the second to arrive, with Wolfstar already perched on the rock. Sootstorm's ear flicked as Perchstar and Leopardstar joined Tigerstar and Wolfstar, with the RiverClan leader regarding the duo with an unreadable expression and the ShadowClan leader to simply greet them before settling down. He himself offered the RiverClanner a dip of his head in greeting, before looking around for the rest of the deputies. Hopefully, tonight would be a peaceful Gathering, though he didn't hold much hope.

Quillsplash did not enjoy Gatherings-- not the blizzard of strange scents, not the drama that seemed never ending, and certainly not the uncertainty that came from so many unknown cats all shoved in the same space. What could anyone do if one aggressive cat decided to cause chaos and murder another cat in the midst of said chaos? It certainly wasn't uncommon for a Gathering to erupt into madness. It was for that reason that he clung to Snaildance's side. Tawnyshadow wasn't here tonight, and Hedgepaw was surrounded by her family and friends. Snaildance, however... the tortoiseshell pressed closer to the she-cat's side, as if for fear that he might lose her in the crowds.

Why was he even here? The tom's reluctance was clear on his face as he followed his clanmates, tail flicking back and forth as he waited for the night to be over. Furious glares were sent across the clearings-- to the deputies and leaders perched atop the same rock Honeydew sat on, the warriors of other Clans whose gazes flashed across him for the briefest of moments, to his own clanmates, many of whom seemed reluctant to meet his eyes. He preferred it that way. Shatteredsky stalked over to a corner, settling down to watch this moon's drama unfold from the shadows.

Last gathering did absolutely nothing to ease Lilyvalley's nerves on coming to this place, and yet she was still here. Although she certainly wouldn't be climbing any trees tonight. Most of the other Clans had already arrived, by the looks of things, although she didn't see the new ThunderClan leader up on the rock quite yet. So they weren't the last of the Clans to show themselves.
She did, however, spot WindClan, and she couldn't help the way her eyes narrowed at the cats. Despite what had been agreed upon, she could not help the way her pelt prickled at the sight of the cats who so audaciously took their land.
She sat down a ways away from the other cats, her tail lashing ever so slightly.

Spiderpaw trotted into the clearing with his usual odd, bouncy gait, his eyes wide with awe. There were so many cats! How was he supposed to meet them all in one night?! Maybe that's why they had a gathering every moon, so there were more chances for everyone to meet each other! And to update everyone on clan news, but Spiderpaw wasn't really interested in that.
He glanced around for Cricketpaw. Was this their first gathering too? Somehow he had forgotten to ask despite his usual barrage of questions. He was so excited! Who would he meet first? His gaze drifted over to the Shadowclan cats. Hold on, did one of them have wings?! He squinted. No, just an owl pelt, but stars that was so cool anyway! Was it a trophy or did she just think it was pretty? He wanted to ask... but she didn't look too happy at the moment. Maybe it would be best to look for Cricketpaw first.

Boarpaw lumbered in with the rest of his clan, passively glancing at the other clans. He truthfully wasn't too sure how he felt about Gathering yet. When all the clans entered the clearing, it was loud and cramped, but he supposed it was interesting to see what the other clans were up to.
He found himself repeating what he had done before, finding a quiet spot and glancing up at the leaders atop the Great Rock. Hopefully there would be less drama this time.

Blazepaw looked around as he followed his Clanmates to the island, casting a cautious glance around the clearing. He wasn't an angry cat, and he definitely didn't like the way some of his Clanmates seemed so thirsty for blood sometimes, but he didn't trust these other cats, either. After recent events... well, who knew what ThunderClan or RiverClan could do when they wanted to do some damage? Aside from that, the gathering place reeked of unfamiliar Clans and cats. He'd never met anyone outside of his Clan before - and he didn't intend on starting today.
The usually friendly tom found a spot by his 0wn Clan and tried his best not to stare - or, StarClan forbid, glare - at any of the other cats.
Blazepaw is open to talk to, but isn't thrilled about meeting anyone outside of SkyClan.

Oatfluff bounded ahead of his Clan, excited to see all the other Clans again. It'd been so long since his last Gathering - a whole moon! StarClan, he'd been an apprentice then! He was excited to meet all the new apprentices, all the new warriors - and he was thrilled to know that Tigerstar would be announcing him as a new warrior tonight. He scanned the crowd to see his prospects. None of the ShadowClan cats looked particularly friendly, and he didn't recognize one of the cats standing beneath the Great Rock. Was that SkyClan's deputy... ? Last time he'd spoken to a SkyClan cat at a Gathering, the SkyClan tom wasn't too thrilled about it.
Instead of approaching anyone, Oatfluff sat beside his Clanmates, but kept a friendly smile on his face. He looked around, hoping someone might meet his gaze and come over to say hi.

Nightpaw took a deep breath before he followed his Clan into the clearing. His heart was beating like thunder in his chest - could the other cats hear it? Could they smell his fear-scent? The tuxedo tom tried his best to keep his feet moving, but they itched with the need to run away. Panic filled him, a white-hot heat in his chest and his stomach.
It's okay. I've got this. Deep breaths, Nightpaw. He had just as much right to be here as all the other cats. He kept putting one foot in front of the other, hoping he didn't throw up in front of all the other cats. Why was this so scary?

Falconmoon stayed at camp, feeling a little sick. Definitely not because he is fearful of Starclan's wrath again.
Sagefeather padded quietly into the gathering, not sure he should speak to anyone. He eyed Windclan's side, curious as to what Leopardstar might say to Tigerstar, if anything. He took a seat in silence closer to the middle, but still on Shadowclan's side of the hollow.
Auburnrain sighed heavily as she entered the gathering. She rolled her eyes at the random bits of conversation she was picking up, not bothering to hide her displeasure at the very idea of being here. This should be a war zone, not a peaceful meeting place. What idiot came up with this idea anyway? She flopped herself down close to the middle of the gathering and crossed her forepaws together. Hopefully this foxdung is over with quickly.
Asmodeus picked up the heavy scent of cats all concentrated in one area. Normally, he consider turning and running the other way, but as of late he'd been feeling quite... understimulated. Perhaps this would be a fun change of events? The black and white rogue observed two of the massive colonies nearly merging together as they converged onto the hollow. What in the world was this about? He took up a place perfectly in the middle between Skyclan and Shadowclan and took a seat, wondering if either of these colonies would notice that he belonged to neither of them.
Poppyshine felt kind of…better this time around. Less like she was going to fall apart at a moment’s notice. She was still not great by any stretch, but she no longer felt like the ground was going to swallow her whole. Perhaps it was that she hoped she would be able to spot a particular face in the crowd this gathering.
She arrived at her spot with the other deputies and gave them a nod and a soft, “Good evening. I hope you and your clans are well.” Poppyshine gave them gentle smiles but her eyes kept wandering back to the crowd. She hoped ThunderClan would arrive soon, and with them, Sleepycloud.
Poppyshine is sitting with the deputies but is looking out for Sleepycloud.
Pineblossom hoped that this gathering would not hold the same troubles as the last one. The leaders had acted a little…kittish, in her opinion. Leopardstar and Tigerstar had managed to keep peace at least, but RiverClan, SkyClan, and especially ThunderClan seemed to have their own…troubles. She just hoped there would be no big trouble on the Great Rock. No Gathering would ever be as bad as when Morningstar descended upon them, but the time when Nightstar and Shrikestar battled on the Great Rock or RiverClan announced the murderer from SkyClan (and all the chaos that came after) were both rather close seconds.
Crookedlight missed the last Gathering because he wanted to stay home with Rainfrost after what happened with Birdstar. Now…He chose to come. He wanted to see Rowansong if he could help it. He had not seen hide nor tail of him in moons. He feared the worst may have happened when the wolves attacked.
Cautiously, he broke away from his fellow SkyClanners and treaded towards the throng of RiverClan cats.
Crookedlight, a SkyClan cat, is sniffing around the RiverClan cats. (And is open to talk.)
Larkspring stuck close to Cindersky as they entered the Gathering. He glared at any cat that looked sideways towards her. Things were still tense between the two of them, but Larkspring tried not to leave her side if he could help it. Given how hard things have been for her lately, she needed someone looking out for her.
Willowwisp walked into the Gathering with Sunpool and Rookflight at her sides. They have been spending more time together recently, and she was rather glad for that. With one sister still a little sick, and still an apprentice at that, and the other in the elder’s den, Willowwisp had less cats to spend her time with…It was nice that she could have friends in Rookflight and Sunpool.
“Where shall we sit?” she asked them as her eyes scanned the valley of incoming cats.
