| RiverClan April 2024 Newsletter Current Happenings After Mottlestar’s passing, the alliance between ThunderClan and RiverClan has dissolved. Acornstar withdrew Mottlestar’s offer of support, and Perchstar subsequently withdrew the sharing of their borders. From now on, Sunningrocks is owned solely by RiverClan, and any trespassers will not be tolerated. Perchstar has informed RiverClan of these happenings in this open meeting. Feel free to post and react in character to this new information!
There has been an influx of rogues on RiverClan’s territory. After one apprentice met his death at the paws of a rogue, and another was injured in a separate incident, Perchstar has reiterated her rules on who is allowed to leave camp: Apprentices may not leave camp alone. They must be accompanied by at least one warrior. Rogue presences on the territory are also to be fought off and reported. Topic Spotlight of the Month Every month, we will be spotlighting a topic within the RiverClan territory that we agree is particularly well-written, insightful, or eventful. With the death of Mottlestar, and the ensuing leadership change for Thunderclan, the pair of leaders meet at Sunningrocks to discuss the state of the alliance. Though they got off on a bad foot at the March Gathering, can the two put their personal concerns behind them in order to do what is best for their Clanmates? The contrast between Perchstar’s logical words and Acornstar’s emotional pleas is on full display as they discuss the future, and what that means for both RiverClan and ThunderClan.
