There wasn't really any designated spot for the Windclan deputy to stand when it came to doing ceremonies while traveling, so he just picked a spot that looked a little higher than the rest. It would have to work for now. He knew the other clans were around, and he just hoped he wouldn't draw their attention too much for a simple ceremony. Especially a Windclan one. "Let all cats old enough to run the moor gather near me for a clan meeting! He wasn't sure if he should have specified Windclan or not.. but surely Windclan would recognize his voice, and that is all that mattered.

He hadn't know their previous home much before they'd begun their travels, but the uneasiness that every other cat felt had begun to make him also grow weary. Well, more so than usual. The plump kit also hadn't been able to experience what normal clan gatherings were like, but as he hesitantly followed his family towards their deputy's voice, he assumed they had been fairly similar to what was going on now, just with far less cats.
Sitting down, Molekit looked up at Tigerdance, his strong stature unwavering even in a time filled with so much uncertainty. 'I wonder if I'll ever be strong like him,' the fuzzy tom thought silently to himself. He thought about it for a moment though and gave a small shake of his head. 'I bet Daisykit and Berrykit will be, which is super cool. They'll be super strong warriors, I just know it.'

He was thankful he didn't manage to attract to much attention of other cats, so he continued like normal. "Today we are gathered to name another apprentice. Molekit please come forward." The striped tom waited for mentioned kit to come forward, knowing it was one of Fuzz's kits. The deputy could only pray that the kits ended up different from their father. "Molekit you have reached the age of six moons. From this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Molepaw. Your mentor will be Sootstorm. I hope he teaches you everything he knows." With that the ceremony was over, and the tom stepped away from his perched spot.

Hearing his name called, Molekit stepped forward cautiously, keeping his wide eyes trained on the deputy above. Being in front of so many cats made his fuzzy pelt grow hot with embarrassment and he prayed that it'd be over soon. Luckily for him, Tigerdance's words were quick and to the point. Sootstorm... that was the tom that had accompanied them on their travels, right? He seemed nice and the plump newly named apprentice found himself relieved that he'd gotten him as his mentor.
Turning back towards the crowd, it didn't take him long to find the speckled warrior and he lumbered his way over to his new mentor. "H-hi," he mewed softly as he approached.
Sootstorm had settled close by to watch the ceremony. It was weird, having such personal affairs be shown to the rest of the Clans. Apprentice ceremonies were when parents watched their kits leave the nursery and begin their own journey to warriorhood, and often there would be a few tears involved. Sootstorm blinked in surprise as his name was called. It hadn't seemed like that long of a time before that he had been called to mentor Finchspeckle, but then again WindClan didn't have that many warriors to mentor the apprentices.
His pelt burning conciously with the gazes of cats not from his clan, Sootstorm stepped forward to meet Molepaw. Fuzzface and Lavendercloud's son was, well, as plump as his parents, but maybe they could still work with that. "Hey, Molepaw. Congrats on your new name," He purred. The dappled tom frowned as he realized that he would have to train Molepaw along the journey, and his paws prickled with unease. This was a horrible time to be an apprentice.
Daisykit beamed at her brother from the crowd, claws kneading happily into the dry earth. She was just as happy for him as if it had been her own ceremony. Amber eyes bright against the pale fur of her face, the she-cat was the first to call his new name. The change of pace from the usual routine of walking and then walking some more was welcomed. A part of her was a little disappointed that it wasn’t her ceremony, and that her brother had a cool apprentice name and she didn’t but mostly she was proud. She was patient enough to wait for Molekit to have a moment with his new mentor before bursting from the crowd in a blur of gray and white. “Molepaw! Congratulations!” She tackled her littermate, rolling over with him in a clumsy tumble of shoulders and paws. She shoved a white paw between his shoulder blades, effectively pinning him down as she purred hard enough to bust a lung. “I was still born before you though so don’t even think about doing cool things without me.” She let him up, headbutting him affectionately on the shoulder hard enough to threaten his balance again.
