Wolfkit and Pantherkit's Apprentice Ceremony and Heatherpaw's New Mentor Ceremony

Ashstar leapt onto the Tallrock. One of the great consistencies of Clan life was that no matter how bad things seemed, there were always a couple of kits in the nursery to give you hope for the future. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" she yowled, raising her voice so that everyone could hear.

Heatherpaw padded out of the apprentice's den. She hadn't really been training much, since Swiftheart had gone missing - and she was half hopeful she would receive a new mentor.

Panther kit hopped out of the nursery and stopped in front f Ashstar. It was time! She was so excited but frightened at the same time! What if she messed up and did something wrong... In front of the leader?!

IC: Ashstar smiled down at the kit and gave a sympathetic nod to the apprentice. Swiftheart was a big dilemma, but she was only one cat. She couldn't do all that much. "Pantherkit, Heatherpaw, please step forwards."

Heatherpaw stepped forward, slightly confused. She was nowhere near old enough to be a warrior, so what was she doing here? Maybe she was getting a new mentor?

Heatherpaw's older sister smiled as she looked at her. She was a little bigger than her and her ceremony was in a could days! She still supported her sister a lot though.

Pantherkit moved forward and looked up with excitement.

Ashstar looked at the kit. "Pantherkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Pantherpaw. Your mentor will be Palefoot. I hope he will pass down all he knows on to you." Then she turned her gaze to Heatherpaw. "Since Swiftheart's unfortunate absence, you have been mentorless. Heatherpaw, your new mentor will be Cedarfur. I hope he can pass all he knows to you until Swiftheart.... returns."
