Thornstalker lead her small patrol, weaving through trees and brush alike in their territory. She wasn't being picky about her hunting spot this time, just wanting to get far enough from the camp where the noise wouldn't disturb any prey. "Try to catch a couple things, and then we will head back to camp. Just a quick patrol to keep the pile filled for a little longer." She told the others before splitting off and into the trees. A bird caught the small warriors attention and the pale warrior fell into a hunting crouch. Catching the bird was simple enough, her training was really paying off. Thornstalker jumped from the tree she caught it in, and buried it for later.

Creamsky was always eager for any chance to do his part - small hunting trips like this was perfect. Thornstalker was a cat of few words - and not always friendly ones - but there was no denying she was a skilled warrior and an excellent patrol leader. He nodded as she spoke - a quick and easy patrol. Try to catch things...Simple enough. He turned to take his own path, tasting the air before he quickly managed to locate a squirrel. It was a lower branch near the trunk - he could spot an opening nearby. Its nest, likely. With a determined frown, he turned and padded away to climb up one of the nearby trees - carefully stepping out onto a branch a tail-length or two higher than the squirrel as he picked his way over. It didn't take long before he was right above the squirrel and it was left unaware until he dropped onto it - pinning it before it could think to duck into cover and ending its life. Then, he leapt down to the ground to tuck it away and focus on what was next to catch.

Silverwing was off on her own before Thornstalker could finish her sentence. A few pieces of prey each and they could head back, that sounded like a fantastic idea to her. Silverwing quickly set to stalking around the trees, stopping to scent the air every couple of steps. So far she hadn't scented or spotted anything on the ground, but she could always- wait, there was something crawling around. It had been hard to spot at first, but she had definitely seen something moving just now. Silverwing's eyes focused on the spot, and after an embarrassingly long search she spotted it. It was scaly, and kind of stupid looking! Silverwing bolted straight for it, not caring enough to try and sneak up on the thing. It seemed that her speed had caught the creature by surprise. It hadn't started moving until Silverwing was already upon it, pinning it under her paws and finishing it's struggles off with a swift bite. This one would be hers, but later. Silverwing placed the catch at the base of a tree before wandering off in search of other, less appealing prey. Like squirrels, they had tons of those here.

It seemed everyone that was on the patrol with her was performing rather well. More prey was always good, though she didn't quite know how to feel about the newest addition to their clan. It didn't exactly please the senior warrior that Silverwing walked off before she finished talking but if she was actually contributing she wouldn't complain too much.

Thornstalker was about to jump back up into the trees when a mouse a little distance away caught her attention. She wasn't the best at catching prey outside of the trees but she certainly was going to try.

There was a content huff from Creamsky as both Thornstalker and Silverwing caught prey - luck was on their side and it was something he was thankful for. Every piece of prey they brought home was another worry taken care of. As he scanned the undergrowth for his next target, his ears perked at the sight of brown fur - a slightly unfamiliar scent reaching his nose. It reminded him of WindClan but it didn't have the same smell of belonging to a cat so it wasn't a trespasser...His eyes widen in surprise as he soon saw the source of the fur and smell - a rabbit - hop from the undergrowth. Well then, that was far from what a SkyClan cat would normally eat but... His eyes flickered to the side, towards where he had last seen Silverwing. ...She would enjoy a rabbit, wouldn't she? So, he turned, quietly scaling up a tree as he picked his way carefully across branches until he was right over the rabbit. The poor thing, so far from home it didn't know to keep an eye towards the sky - it likely thought itself safe from hawks and whatnot with the canopy covering it. He jumped from the branch, paws outstretched as he landed on the rabbit - wrestling it to the ground and killing it before it could think to lash out at him with one of its strong legs. As it felt limp, he drew back as he took in the size of the thing. For as thin as WindClan cats tended to be, you wouldn't have expected their main source of prey to be so...Big!

Lionstripe followed after Falconmoon, as usual (and much to Falconmoon's sort of annoyance). The white and gold warrior flicked his tail toward the younger tom, a signal to be quiet and don't move. Lionstripe obeyed immediately, eagerly watching the more experienced warrior hunt. He was drinking in as much of his skills as he could, hoping he'd learn to be the best hunter in Skyclan as well as the best fighter.

Falconmoon crouched after a rabbit, a prey item not so easily caught by Skyclanners. Lionstripe loved his confidence and made absolutely sure to not make a sound.

Falconmoon attempted to catch a rabbit! He was SUCCESSFUL! -3 SP

Falconmoon snatched the rabbit up with lightning speed and sniper precision. Lionstripe's jaw dropped. "No way! Falconmoon that was-!" Lionstripe shut his mouth when the white and gold tom shot him a look. They were still hunting... he didn't need to be so loud! It would be a wonder if this kid could catch a single thing today. Falconmoon would be speaking to his mother about assigning the overly eager kit with him on patrol. No more.

Lionstripe noticed the look in Falconmoon's eye, then noticed another warrior in Skyclan caught a rabbit too. Well... maybe he'd get a chance? But it wasn't to be. A few moments later, a fat rat bolted out of a bush and bounded away from the patrol. Lionstripe galloped after it, determined.

He landed ont he rat with a thud and dispatched it swiftly. He proudly carried it back to the patrol... maybe just to show everyone that he could do it, before he stashed it away and waited to continue. He was mildly disappointed when Falconmoon didn't even look at him.
