Darkleap growled as teeth sank into her neck, puncturing the fur. Wrenching back, she stepped back slightly to give some space between her and her opponent, lips curled in disdain. "You were so happy to follow us before... You're just as bad as Morningstar is. Flighty, dishonest... You think you're better than us. But Beechfang, you are more like us than even you seem to know. And nothing can change that." She hissed through gritted teeth, stabilizing her paws as she looked for an opening.
Dawnhawk tried to twist out of being pinned, and Smokefeather dug her claws further into his skin. He'd likely try again, she knew, but for now she would draw as much blood from him as she could. She was beginning to feel the effects of the wounds that had been inflicted on her, but Smokefeather would ignore them and soldier on.
Smokefeather continued Leap and Hold for -15 sp, dealing -10+2 damage.
Beechfang took another swipe at the dark forest cat, lips curling in a sudden flash of anger at her words. She would never let her clanmates fall to these beasts, and she was nothing like them at all!
Beechfang used Front Paw Strike for -7 sp, dealing -10 damage.
Panicked, Briarthorn looked around quickly as fighting erupted at every corner of the camp. Her eyes darted to every fight, everyone who was involved and who appeared to need the most help. Only one cat in particular stood out to her in that moment- dotted with stars, fighting against SkyClan’s biggest enemy, the tom that had plagued them for moons and moons on end… She gulped down the residual fear and bunched up her muscles, leaping to Smokefeather’s aid. Luckily, the way she had the tom pinned made him vulnerable to outside attacks. Bounding forward, she descended on Morningstar with a flurry of strategically placed blows, claws unsheathed and drawing blood with each hit.
Briarthorn used Front Paw Strike, dealing -10 Health Points and using -7 Stamina Points. Night Finesse is active, dealing an additional -1 Health Point.
Of course once he'd manage to roll Smokefeather off of him she had help arrive. His dad's other female. A Shadowclan cat. Morningstar grinned, though it was now more out of malice than amusement.
"I always was a hard one to defeat. Not fighting me alone is the wisest thing anyone could ever do." He sneered, pointing out the hollow victory that these she-cats would end up having. No matter... they'd never truly be rid of him.
Morningstar used Duck and Twist, dealing 9 damage and -5SP. It was a Success! Morningstar is no longer pinned!
Dawnhawk broke free of her grip, as was only inevitable. What Smokefeather hadn't expected however, was help. Beechfang was locked in her own battle, as were the rest of her kits, she assumed, though she hadn't let her gaze leave Dawnhawk long enough to search for them. The big brown and white tabby wasn't a Skyclanner by birth, but she was fighting for them now. Smokefeather had made it a point to simply avoid Briarthorn in life, feeling cheated and ashamed by the other she-cat's presence so soon after Bloodstar had been returned to them from Asylum. She didn't blame her for what had happened, of course, but the pain of it had stung for a while.
The past didn't matter now, though. Nothing of what had happened mattered. All that did was wiping this scourge from Skyclan's territory once and for all. Dawnhawk was likely right, she knew; he'd lived in their heads for long enough and being dead wouldn't change that. But they could do something about his physical presence right now. Rearing back, Smokefeather aimed to bring her paws down onto the back of Dawnhawk's neck with all the strength she could muster from her newfound body.
Smokefeather used Upright Lock for -10 sp, dealing -12+2 damage.
Driftcloud stepped away as Dandelionflight came to his rescue, knocking the molly off-guard. He met his Clanmate's eyes and mouthed a "thank you", taking a small breather. He was exhausted and his wounds stung, but they weren't out of this fight yet.
Springing back into action, Driftcloud leapt at Vixentooth, hissing as his claws sunk into her fur again and again, drawing filthy black ooze in the place of real blood.
Driftcloud used Front Paw Strike on Vixentooth, dealing 8 damage and costing 7 stamina.
Driftcloud also used Desperate Blows on Vixentooth, dealing an additional 5 damage and costin 7 stamina.
Honeyfang snarled, low and outraged. “You… insolent piece of crowfood. I’ll shred you!” She raised her paws to tear into his gut, vicious and merciless and eyes cruel, but the dirty kit moved! Incensed, claws ripping up dirt, she snapped in a rage, “This body is one I tolerate, for the good of this Clan! I bleed, I suffer for it!”
Honeyfang used Belly Rake on Aether, and FAILED! Does -5 recoil and drains 25 stamina.
Honeyfang: 80/100 | 128/180
Aether: [stunned! turn 1/2] 38/63 | 86/100

Holly’s body hurt and her limbs were shaky, but she still found it in her to gape down at Sweeteagle as he puffed up indignantly. She… just… This is really awful. Terrible.
And… wait. What. He had a body count? How many cats could a kit have killed—?
“But you’re… you’re barely bigger than a mouse!” she exclaimed, in disbelief — he was just a brat! even if a demon brat! — but then flinched at the memory that he was… uh, freakish. It was even almost cute, though, as the dangerous, pouting thing waddled up to her, but then she was shrieking in pain as blood welled and her face burned.
Now there were two of them — double the hindrance. Vixentooth snarled, dark, black liquid still oozing out from her ears instead of what normally would be blood, but she needed to focus on this new cat now. "So admirable, attempting to help your little clanmate. Let's just see how long you both will last, would we?" She'd grin, before roaring up, her teeth tightly gripping the brown warrior's tail — before pulling down sharply, knocking them off balance.
Vixentooth used Tail Yank, using 15 SP and dealing 12 (10+2) damage! Dandelionflight is stunned for 1 turn!
As Darkleap set her paws, she saw her opening. Darting forward with a well-timed hit, she put the traitor in the same position she had been only moments before. "Two can play at this game, Beechfang. You'll join us soon." She growled, circling her opponent. Would she aim for her tail? Or one of her already tattered ears? Either way, Beechfang would at least be left worse than she had been before.
Darkleap used Dishonorable Charge, dealing 10 (+2) damage and costing 20 SP.
Despite her best attempts, the dark forest warrior attacked Driftcloud once again. Dandelionflight tried to attack back, but her tail was grabbed by the she-cat. The force of the warrior swept her paws out from under her, and she struggled to get back up again. "It's more admirable than you could ever be!" She growled back.
Briarthorn sneered at Morningstar’s remark, retorting that, ”Perhaps that’s because you possess not an itch of honor, nor do you fight with any. Winning only merits praise when you’ve won a fair fight.” Briarthorn retreated for just a moment, long enough for Smokefeather to make contact with the tom and smash his head into the hard ground underpaw. Then, as soon as she could rush back in, she bared her fangs and sunk them into Morningstar’s flesh, savoring the metallic taste of blood rushing into her mouth from his neck. With any luck, the tom would soon go limp beneath her- for good.
Briarthorn used Snap, dealing -10 Health Points and using -7 Stamina Points.
This cat still stared at him in disbelief, even after his attempt to prove himself! Sweeteagle felt his blood boil. He was going to take this cat down. He leaped at her and bit down hard on her shoulder.
Sweeteagle used Snap on Hollyshine. -12 HP (10 + 2) (Hollyshine) and -7 SP
Beechfang spread her paws, dropping low as the dark forest cat used the move she had just used against her in an effort to keep her balance. Pain shot through her side at the impact and she snarled, head struggling to keep her paws planted firmly on the ground and struggling to catch her breath. She'd known the dark forest cats were strong, but the force of the blow had stunned her for the moment. "I'll... Never be one of you." She spat in response, though the logical thing to do would have been to focus on breathing rather than talking.
