His fangs were positioned to not be fatal blows, merely to dig into muscle and cause damage that would be lasting and painful. Turning her head to look in any direction would be agony.

The Dark Forest molly struck out at them again and they winced at the stinging pain across their side, already feeling the blood start to run down to their stomach. His head was starting to clear, but he lay still panting in the dirt, an idea forming in his head.

When his attacker was caught off-guard, he leapt to his paws with a quickness not usually seen in the bulky cat and caught her ear with his teeth, tearing a chunk away in fury. He would not go down without a fight.

Dawnhawk's fangs dug sharply into her neck, and Smokefeather let out a low growl, surging upwards now that she had finally gotten her breath back. The form Starclan had seen fit to grant her wouldn't last, not against Dawnhawk, she was sure of it. That only meant she needed to do as much as she could while time remained for her to do so. There would be no starry afterlife for either of them. Slamming into the dark forest's leader to topple him to the ground, Smokefeather dug her claws in, raking them across his sides.

Beechfang bared her teeth in a feral smile at the expression on the dark forest cat's face. Did she feel betrayed like she had when she'd seen Shrikestep following Dawnhawk at that mess of a gathering? Poor thing... Not. Finally, there was a chance to drive these beasts out of her home. The stars were back, and while Beechfang wasn't sure how to feel about that, she knew exactly how she felt about the dark forest and Dawnhawk's lackeys. She lunged forward while her opponent was still trying to gather herself, sinking her fangs into the side of her neck as hard as she could.

The dirty-blooded kit had gall — and fight. Honeyfang hissed, enraged as he slipped from her grasp to strike. “How dare you! You think your worthy of this Clan? Of Skyclan?!”

The wounds burned, as he slashed, but not nearly as much as her rage or the poison in her blood. Honeyfang snarled, roared, “My ancestors have served this Clan since it’s foundations!”

Fangs bared, she lunged for the filthy kit’s tail, to put an end to this. Would he realize? And then her eye flashed, victorious, as she skillfully — viciously — slammed into his gut. Perhaps she’d take her claws to it next and spill his filthy, unworthy blood under the starlight itself.

Holly felt a little dizzy, but her claws didn’t sheathe at the sight of sharp, SHARP tiny claws. Instead a familiar fear crawled up her throat, and she roughly jostled… it… off. It was a kit! Tiny, fluffy… “What are you?! Some kind of demon child?”

Half of her thought he must be Wildfang’s, but maybe whatever her murder-Uncle was just made murder-kits?! Did he have more?

Fighting starting in the camp startled Dandelionflight out of her sorrow, and she glanced around. She was stunned to find some of her clanmates lying dead on the ground, while others, the Dark Forest cats and StarClan warriors fought. It seemed like most of the Dark Forest cats were doubled up on, but Driftcloud was left to fight on his own. Dandelionflight didn't know the tom well, but she wouldn't let a clanmate fight on their own.

She charged forward, ramming into the she-cat's side. The attacker was Vixentooth. Driftcloud looked quite beaten up, and Dandelionflight offered them a reassuring smile, before getting ready to fight again.

Cedarkit looked around in horror as the clearing exploded with the dark forest cats and the living cats fighting for their lives. The servil-like kit had not yet learned any of the moves of an apprentice or a warrior so he was terrified and snuck back into the nursery like a coward. He didn't feel good about this, but it was either this or throwing his own life away and he had no wish to do that so recklessly.

Vixentooth yowled, a chunk of her ear being torn away. And before she could attack back, another cat attempted to do the same as she did before, ramming their head to her flanks in an attempt to knock the air out from her. She was caught off-guard — that was true, but it caused minimal damage, and she soon regained back her focus. Her eyes shifted to the new challenger, teeth bared, and she snapped them.

Sweeteagle snarled at the she-cat, who still seemed stunned from the hit he gave her. "Demon child? I'll have you know that I am not a child! Everyone that told me that I was one is dead- under MY claws! You'll be too!" He really wasn't that scary, but he definitely thought he was.

Who does this... Birdbrain think she is?? I'll show her that I'm the most powerful here! "I'm stronger than you!" He spat, approaching her. "And I'll make you pay for what you said to me!" He looked like a big angry kit, and acted like one too, Sweeteagle really wasn't helping his case. "Maybe.... I'll prove it to you! With claws!"

He sliced his claws over the she-cat's face. Sure, it needed a little run up and jump, but surely he was scary enough to not be mistaken for a kit? "You made a big mistake you know?!"
