For the briefest of moments swiftheart looked sad for Fawnpatch... Swiftheart had heard how terrible the dark forest was for living and she wished that no cat had to live under such terrible circumstances... however Fawnpatch had lived a pure evil life and she returned with a the bitterness and anger now in her undead form just as she had before.
Swifthearts pitty quickly vanished as Fawnpatch clawed her hard and her wounds bled heavily staining her white fur easily with the dark crimson red as it soaked and matted up.
She winced and whimpered at the pain... Fawnpatch was beyond saving and even swiftheart in her kind nautre could see that now...
She hissed and clawed back as hard as she could. This dark forest cat would get her wish being wiped from history!
Swiftheart used Front paw strike for 11 dmg and 7 sp
She saw Fawnpatch glaring at her with hate and malice.
Swiftheart didnt return the same. She was more so held a sad look that someone could end up this hurt and broken as Fawnpatch... it showed her how evil cats could become. ... and how unwilling they could be to take a surrender even when it was better for both sides. Her wounds ached and she wanted nothing more however to end this and rid shadowclan of the darkness that loomed over them.
"Final warning... stand down" she meowed ... almost pleading that Fawnpatch would see it was pointless to resist any longer... She knew she was winning this fight and that Fawnpatch grew weary... still she didnt want to end Fawnpatch unless there was no other way... but she would if it came to that or risking her kits or her clans safety and Fawnpatch had already shown severe stubbornness which she doubted Fawnpatch would change her mind now... still Swiftheart was a kind and gentle cat who wouldnt kill unless there was simply no other way which unfortunetly for her looked to be more and more the case.

Fawnpatch held Swiftheart’s gaze as she panted. Blood dripped from her scratches and everything hurt, but she knew that there was no getting out of this. She hissed, “I won’t stop until one of us is dead. So you may as well try and kill me.” She lunged at Swiftheart, attempting to knock her onto her back to get at her belly. She would normally never use such a dangerous move—there were too many variables that allowed her to get hurt as well—but she knew that Swiftheart would kill her first at this rate. She had to try something.
Unfortunately, her instincts to not try something so dangerous proved to have been a good ideology, as she opened herself up for a quick scratch from Swiftheart, nicking her and drawing fresh blood.
Fawnpatch used Belly Rake! It was unsuccessful! Fawnpatch took 5 recoil damage and it cost 25 SP.
Duskflight gritted his teeth, containing the yowl he would've let out from claws raking his side — though he'd rise, no longer feeling as stunned as he felt before. His claws buried down to the earth, and he'd ready himself to attack once again.
Marshmallow was half-hoping that her quicker movements would've left her unnoticed for the most part, but instead, the Dark Forest cat turned straight towards her after slashing at the Starclan cat. She nodded at Redwing, stepping back. Maybe I can survive this... It's three against one, she's outnumbered."Yeah, your death, maybe." She spat at the Dark Forest warrior. "What's your deal, anyway? Fighting for revenge?" She flexed her claws.
"Or are you just here for the sake of wanting to be killed again?" She grinned. If there was one think she was good at, it was aggravating others during battle. Marshmallow ran up, biting her quickly on the side of her neck, before stepping back, tail lashing. The spotted she-cat glanced at the others. If she's focused on me, she will pretty much be blind to your attacks. She thought, glancing back at the enemy.
Marshmallow used Snap. Dealing -9 HP (8 + 1) (Poppymaw) and -7 SP (Marshmallow)
Marshmallow - Night Finesse active 40/40 HP 86/100 SP (-7)
Leopardsun - Night Finesse active 25/30 HP 48/80 SP
"Don't worry Snowfoot... You're next. Didn't your mothers teach you to share?" She mewed with a wicked grin as she reared back to her hind paws to attack Dappledlight once more.
Webwhisper used Upright Lock, dealing 12 base (+2) damage and costing 10 SP.
Dappledlight 2/40 HP (-14) 86/100 SP
Snowfoot 40/40 HP 86/100 SP
Webwhisper 66/100 HP 124/180 SP (-10)
Rainfall turned towards her, and Murkystar breathed a sigh of relief. Lunging forward, she snapped her teeth at the Dark Forest cat's shoulder.
Murkystar used Snap, dealing 10 base (+1 Night Finesse, +2 Star Striker) damage and costing 7 SP.
Swiftheart clawed at her opponent as Fawnpatch tried and failed to go for a cheeky belly rake.
This however really made Swiftheart angry and she finally snapped... Fawnpatch deliberatly tried to attack her belly when she knew she was pregnant.... These dark forest cats really were truly the lowest scum in history.
Swiftheart had offered so many times to let Fawnpatch surrender but it seemed there was no other way and Swiftheart hesitated a while before finally taking action. She watched her opponent bleeding from all the hits she had landed ... but for once even Swiftherart felt no remorse for this monster... how could she knowingly try and kill kits?
As Fawnpatch flailed on the ground after her failed attempt to try and claw out Swifthearts belly , Swiftheart stood their shaking her head "Pathetic ... truly pathetic....
There was no other way.... This dark forest cat would kill Swiftheart and her kits if she didnt end this while she had the upper hand (paw?)
The stars above shown brighter and brighter as the fight continued on all around them. The pelts of Murkystar and Red grew brighter as well and this gave Swiftheart the courage she needed to continue to press her lead and end this monster and rid the forest of her.
She unleashed a heavy final barage of attacks on Fawnpatch slicing deep into the weakened cat sending fur and blood flying everywhere of this monster.
She kept pressing and pressing and pressing until, finally one blow sent the dark forest cat sligthly off balance and Swiftheart swiped out her other front paw sending her crashing to the earth below. She stood over her glancing down ... "You... you gave me no other choice" she said somberly.
The warrior code is something Swiftheart always tried to follow (Except for that bit about kits being locked in camp all the time... whcihc was a silly rule)
It said that an honorable warrior didnt need to kill... but in that same rule...
"An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense."
Fawnpatch had tried to kill her kits literally just now and she was surely outside the code....
"Im sorry ... that it has to end like this" her voice cracked saying it knowing what she had to do right now.
She reared up again on her hind paws and again brought them down on Fawns head. SMACKKK just like before. She did it again SMACKKKK and again SMACKKK. until the force of it left an imprent of fawns face in the mud in the shadowclan camp.
Her opponent was laying there completly open. With a shaky breath Swiftheart launched herself straight at Fawnpatch's throat and latched on with fangs tearing into the soft unprotected tissue. She yanked backwards quickly as if she was killing some prey ...
She wanted it to be fast for Fawn ... even though she had to do this there was no reason to make anyone suffer... even someone as evil as Fawn.
"You should never have starved my father" she meowed ...
She bit down again making sure Fawnpatch was dead... or whatever happened to these things when they got their vital organs ripped out. She didnt want Fawn to suffer and not ensuring the kill was just cruel.
She panted heavily a small tear in her eye...the taste of blood bitter and foriegn in her mouth... she hated having to do this but there was no other way... "Go in peace... maybe you can finally be free of the dark forest" she said in a hushed whisper.
Swiftheart used Killing Strike on Fawnpatch
Fawnpatch is dead ... or whatever the term is for the dark forest cats after using killing blow
Swiftheart watched as the strangest thing happened... Fawnpatches body started decaying as if it had been sitting out for ages as it crumbled before her very eyes... (In help desk I was told to think of it like the thanos snap) Fawn's body decayed into dust and blew away in a breez.... ick but the smell of her being undead still stunk up the air . Swiftheart wrinkled up her nose a little and sneezed a couple times
Fawnpatch (DEAD) 0 / 100 HP 97 / 180 SP
Swiftheart 39 / 63 HP 87 / 140 SP

Fawnpatch
Perhaps it was always meant to be this way. Fawnpatch had never been a cat that could truly connect with others. When she was alive, she had cats who seemed to like her, but she could never tell if it was genuine. When she was older, she had kits, but her mates never seemed to truly love her. She did not love them in return. Even her kits who seemed to love her would eventually move on. She took kits from other clans in the hopes that there would be something more, but there never was. It still didn’t occur to Fawnpatch even now how her own actions, her own lack of love, was the cause of her misery all of her life. She always wanted to avoid any pain in life, and even now, she wanted to avoid going back to the forest that had doomed her.
She hated her wet pelt. She hated her aching body. She hated the way kits would look up at her in awe, or in fear. She hated how other cats glared at her for existing before she’d even done anything in ShadowClan. She made them hate her further. Mistyfalcon hated her. Nightstalker hated her. Swiftheart hated her. Even little Harepaw hated her when they had first met, when she knew nothing of what Fawnpatch had been doing to her father. Hatred filled her veins and plagued her life and it was hatred that ultimately led to her own son killing her moons upon moons ago. It was hatred that fueled her death now as Swiftheart clamped her fangs down onto her neck, or so she thought.
Her eyes searched the ShadowClan camp as she was held in Swiftheart’s jaws. The fighting surrounding them showed a clear tide being turned in favor of the clans. It wasn’t meant to be. It would have never lasted. Would StarClan have been merciful to her if she had given up in the beginning…? No. They wouldn’t have. Besides—Nightstalker dealt the first blow. It was going to come to this one way or the other. Surrender would not have been tolerated, no matter what pretty words Swiftheart tried to say to her.
Fawnpatch’s eyes found Honeypaw, frozen in the middle of everything. He wasn’t fighting. Perhaps he couldn’t—he was still young and inexperienced as an apprentice. There was something somewhat strange as time slowed around her and she looked at the young apprentice. Her own kits when she was alive, they only loved her for her milk and for her guidance. The kits she looked after now, they didn’t truly care for her. Marshmallow saw her as a tool. Frostedpaw saw her as a way of escape. Rosekit saw her as a scheming partner. Honeypaw…he was so kind and wanted nothing from her. They spent so little time together. Could he have actually liked her presence? It felt too good to be true; the mad thoughts of a dying cat.
“Honey…paw…” Fawpatch croaked, blood dripping down her face as blood welling from the bite on her neck dribbled into her mouth. She caught his gaze for just a moment and those thoughts were fleeting as her body began to turn to decay and rot and dust. Fawnpatch was only vaguely aware that she would not be going back to the Forest; that her body was disappearing for good. That was fine by her. It was what she wanted.
Even in the end, Fawnpatch got exactly what she wanted.
Fawnpatch has died and faded to dust.
Iceheart
Iceheart’s mind was still spinning as she looked around for someone new to fight. She could unpack…whatever feelings she was having later. About Stagshade, about everything—another time. She spotted Snowfoot and Dappledlight having a bit of trouble against…Webwhisper. Iceheart’s blood boiled with that familiar anger she’d felt when fighting against Stagshade. Webwhisper was the one who cursed her with this horrible name. For the moment, the ice in her heart was replaced with fire and she leapt into the battle, drawing her claws down onto Webwshiper.
Iceheart used Jumping Strike, dealing 9 (8 + 1) damage and costing 7 SP!
Dappledlight 16/40 HP 86/100 SP
Snowfoot 26/40 HP 81/100 SP
Iceheart 40 / 40 HP 73 / 100 SP (-7)
Webwhisper 57/100 HP (-9) 124/180 SP
[OOC: Stagshade timed out, so Iceheart has joined the Webwhisper fight. She took no damage in the Stagshade fight, thus full HP.]

Swiftheart saw the dark forest cat turn to dust and was relived taht at least that battle was over... did she wish that fawn had surrendered? yes absolutly she hated having to kill her but it was the only way.
Panting she looked around at the rest of the battle raging on and soon picked out from the crowd her mother Murkystar fighting a dark forest cat.
With her was Duskflight. The two of them had begun to hang out alot lately and swiftheart could not deny that there was something special about him. So it was no big suprise that she fealt drawn to help those 2 out.
"Mom!" she gave a purr her voice very tired though. It was so good to see her mother again though she wished it was under better circumstances.
She ran at Rain and managed to surprise him with a snap at his tail. CHOMP.
Swiftheart used snap

Though it wasn't intentional, Thalia found herself following Iceheart once again; fighting beside Snowfoot and Dappledlight. She had found herself in the rhythm of battle despite herself, and though the violence threatened to overwhelm her, she was somehow still standing. She lashed out once, sharp claws raking across flesh; a different kind of precision to her strikes than those of the Clan-born warriors around her.
She had learned their way, eventually; had learned how to fight fair, and safely, without causing lasting damage. She wasn't even thinking of that training now. Tonight, under the light of the stars, she fought to kill. Every swift and precise blow brought her closer to that goal.
A part of her wondered if this was some twisted turn of fate. In seasons past, someone had looked at her when she was only a kit, and decided she would be a killer. That her fate would be stained with blood. They had been right, by their own design; she had become what they made her. And yet, now that she was free of that influence, here she stood once again; with every intention to feel blood on her paws.
She might have felt guilt for a life cut short, but... What was death to the dead? Was it, in some way, a kinder fate than whatever awaited them at the end of this?
What about ShadowClan, and the cats still living?
She glanced over at Iceheart - her apprentice, a young warrior who clearly had so much potential - and she had her answer.
Thalia used Front Paw Strike on Webwhisper, dealing 8 damage and costing 7 SP.
Webwhisper 49/100 HP (-8) 124/180 SP
Dappledlight 16/40 HP 86/100 SP
Snowfoot 26/40 HP 81/100 SP
Iceheart 40/40 HP 73/100 SP
Thalia: 50/50 HP 106/120 SP (-7)

Echopaw's chest heaved even just after a little bit of fight he did with the one dark forest cat. He wasn't used to this. Was this what it was like being a warrior? He had some real adjusting to do. Iceheart and Thalia ran off with a few parting words, telling him to take cover. Of course he listened, he wouldn't be much use in the fight right now. Not with his limited energy. So he backed away, if he felt the need to jump in again, he would.
Honeypaw couldn’t breathe. He didn’t understand anything that was happening. This was just a normal gathering, how did it turn into all this? Is this, the stars in the sky, the smell of death and blood in the air, the sound of fighting cats all around him, the dead bodies on the ground, is this what this “Starclan” wanted? He’s heard that name shouted a lot during this fight. Is all this supposed to be a good thing?
Honeypaw knows he should be helping his clanmates. It’s what an honorable warrior would do. He should do something! But what? He can’t fight, he doesn’t know how. He doesn’t even know who he should be attacking. He thought half of the cats that are now dead on the ground were his clanmates. He’s so confused he feels dizzy, and so filled with fear, and hot shame at his own fear. He’s sat crouched on the ground, frozen in place, unable to force his frozen limbs to move. He feels like ice has taken a hold of his veins and he’s frozen in time while the rest of the world spins out of control around him.
It’s as he’s looking around that he caught sight of Fawnpatch. He watched in horror as Swiftheart, the same cat who played tag with him when he was a kit, bit down on Fawnpatch’s throat. He hadn’t spent a lot of time with Fawnpatch, but he liked her, he thought she was his friend. And she’s calling out for him, asking for his… help? His presence at her side? He doesn’t know. He can’t move anyway. He just made a low, pained sound in the back of his throat, shuddering on the ground as he watched her body fade to dust.
