Emberheart's eye was on the goal. In this case, the RiverClan cat guarding Lionspark. She moved as quickly as she could - she was no WindClan cat, her true skills lied elsewhere, but today they had to improvise and there weren't exactly trees here.

She had the element of surprise on her side, to an extent, and so she grabbed the warrior's teeth in her tail and bit down.

Emberheart used Tail Yank on Viperstorm, dealing 5 damage and costing 10 stamina. Viperstorm is stunned for one turn.

Viperstorm growled as the Thunderclan warrior some how managed to swim through the water and sneak up on her while she was facing the enterance but whatever. She felt a shock go up through her spin as her tail was bitten, freezing her for just a moment.

Viperstorm is no longer stunned.

The white warrior made sure not to give any indication he had ever personally met this she-cat before. In fact, he barely had. Nutfur was the only one he had actually spoken to. Sweetheart just happened to stumble upon their meeting. His claws continued to knot into her fur. Despite the fact her coat was now sprayed with the frigid water and quickly freeing, he kept his position.

He overheard the other warrior's jibe and quickly snapped, "We won't be losing anyone today." His blue eyes blazed with the heat of battle and Artemis had to remind himself to take a deep breath. It would be wrong for him to lose himself to a battle. And Sweetheart wasn't truly the enemy. Their goal wasn't to hurt, only to save. That was the Oasis way.

Artemis continued to use leap and hold on Sweetheart, dealing 11 damage and using 10 stamina. Sweetheart is held for one more turn.

Sweetheart growled and whined through gritted teeth, struggling harder to throw off the loner from her back, her tail violently lashing and thudding against the ground behind her.

(i was going for she ran directly up to Viper and bit her tail, element of surprise as in who would do that)

Emberheart let go almost immediately, and switched to full-on attack mode. Fury ran through her as she reared up and brought her claws down on her selected opponent.

Emberheart used Rear-Up to Slash, dealing 11 damage and costing 5 stamina.

Leafstorm grunted and kicked wildly, struggling out of the water. With a soft hiss, he sized up his opponent. "I wouldn't expect fighting on level grounds with a Riverclan savage like you, young one." He hissed, his paws kneading the ground.
After a second's hesitation, he charged at the she-cat, who was clambering onto the riverbank. He reared onto his hind legs and pummeled at her face and neck viciously, aiming for her eyes and nose.

Leafstorm used Upright Front Paws, dealing 15 damage and using 20 SP.

Viperstorm let out a growl as the other she-cat attacked her. She couldn't be beaten by another Thunderclan warrior.. Not again. The gray blue warrior jump on top of the ginger warrior, and pinned her down while dealing damage at the same time.

Viperstorm used Leap and Hold on Emberheart dealing 9 Damage, -10 SP. Emberheart is pinned for two turns.

"You might have managed to win the first battle with your low life tactics, but I will not rest until Thunderclan is taken care of!" Artemis hissed, partially to Minnowslip, but also to Sweetheart. Again, he reminded himself she was the enemy now. His claws dug in once more, aiming only to weakened before he leaped away and took up a defensive position. There was a brief moment the she-cat had a chance to attack back. He was ready to lunge forwards once more, maybe bat at her with strong, but sheathed blows. However, the weight of the water and ice now soaking his pelt slowed his movement. Sweetheart had a chance to attack. Now, all she had to do was be convincing to her clanmates.

Artemis continued to use leap and hold on Sweetheart, dealing 11 damage and using 10 stamina. Sweetheart is no longer held.

Emberheart hissed as her opponent pinned her down, unable to do much besides struggle and try and make sense of her thoughts. The latter, unfortunately, was fruitless. There was nothing she had to say to this warrior.

Sweetheart huffed and growled before leaping behind Artemis, gripping hard on his tail and yanking to throw him off balance. Right now, she could only think of protecting herself, and in extension her kit, from any harm. She had completely forgotten that she was trying to help the loner. After all, he was being a threat to her kit.

Sweetheart used Tail Yank on Artemis, dealing 5 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Artemis is Stunned for one turn.

At first when the fighting broke out, Nutfur just stood still, not knowing what to do. She had been told to fight for RiverClan by every cat, even ThunderClan. But she didn't want to have taken all these risks for nothing. She would go easy on the ThunderClanners. Make it look like she was fighting her hardest when she wasn't. That seemed like the right thing to do. This time, she wouldn't make the mistake she had made at the battle. She would make sure of it. Hissing in forced anger, she launched herself at one of the ThunderClan warriors, claws out stretched and unsheathed. To any cat watching, it would look like she was trying to kill the tom. But that was not her intention. Before hitting him, she landed on her feet, sheathing her claws a heartbeat before smacking her paw across his head. Maybe the white tom's no claws tactic actually did become useful sometimes.

"Your clan is the one that's attacking ours for our land. Keep up, Elder!" Minnowslip hissed at the tom through the pain, twisted away from him to hook a paw behind his head. Then she used all the force she had in her body to force his head under the water, hitting his head against the riverbed.

Viperstorm slashed at Emberheart once again making sure to keep the Thunderclan warrior pinned. She couldn't risk letting this cat go. They needed to show what would happen for crossing onto Riverclan territory!
