September Gathering 2016

Ashstar looked questioningly at the ginger SkyClan cat, but said nothing, trusting the she-cat would explain herself in due time. All the Clans were here now, but she didn't want to be the one to start- she was so new...

Lionpaw sauntered over to a couple of apprentices- two white she-cats. (Sheeppaw and Softpaw) They were pretty enough, but not stunning. Still, he needed to make a few inter-Clan friends. Or perhaps rivals. "Lionpaw of WindClan," he introduced himself, tossing his golden whiskers carelessly to the side. He knew he was a handsome tom- many had told him so- and he planned to use it. But he must be modest.

Breezepaw looked around at all the other cats. His father had switched- bravely, his mother assured him- from the Dark Forest to StarClan in this very clearing barely a moon ago. And yet his father was too sickly to come tonight. So once again, Breezepaw fended for himself. He glanced around the crowd, finding a lone apprentice. (Porcupinepaw) He looked excited, but a little shy. The leaders' son recognized the look on his face- eager, but uncertain. He walked up to the tom. "Hey there," Breezepaw greeted him quietly

OOC: THE THREE MCA-KATEERS... MAYBE

This was it. Rabbitpaw's first gathering. Taking a few deep breaths, she followed Vixenheart into the clearing, her eyes wide at the sight of other cats she had never seen before. They all seemed to stare in Skyclan's direction, at least from her point of view... or were they all just staring at her? She was the new medicine cat apprentice, after all. She had heard a lot about gatherings from elders and warriors. They were full of cats big and small, old and young who gathered for a time of peace. Yet, there seemed to be a grim shadow cast over the trees tonight even under the bright full moon and the stars that danced in the sky. The scars from a battle she had only heard about were easily visible still underneath the moonlight. Maybe that's why everyone was still downcast? It was strange to look at, almost as if it were all staged. It didn't feel like something that had actually happened, yet Rabbitpaw couldn't help but feel sorrow and remorse for the cats who had so selflessly given their lives for the cause.

Instead of focusing on the past, though, Rabbitpaw forced herself out of her thoughts and into the present and looked for someone else her age to talk to. Outside of her clan, this was the best time to get to know the others, especially as a medicine cat apprentice. It could come in handy some day.

Thistlepaw, Wasppaw, and Firepaw followed their respective leaders into the gathering, and took a seat among their clans not wanting to go interact with others too much. Even with it being their first gathering, they wanted to stick to their clan mates, and not get into trouble with the warriors if they started chatting with other apprentices.

Cloverpool padded in with Thunderclan.

Hickorypad followed whoever was leading Shadowclan

Featherpaw followed Skyclan.

Goldpaw followed Riverclan.

Honeyblossom, Briarfoot, and Wolfpaw padded into the gathering behind Riverclan.

Ghostpelt followed Skyclan.

And Silentpaw followed Thunderclan.

Rainwhisper, Plumblossom, Shadowglow, Coldbreeze, and Badgerstrike followed Thunderclan in.

Frozenflame followed closely behind Darkstar as she lead Thunderclan into the clearing. The deputy's eyes scanned over the gathered cats, realizing that only a moon or so ago, he had fought either against or along side every single one of them. The Dark Forest had torn the clans apart, but it was now time to stitch them back together. He silently padded over to the deputy spot and sat, nodding to the other deputies.

Blazingheart happily padded into the clearing with Thunderclan, a smile upon his muzzle. He spotted out Morningshine in the crowd and sat down beside her. "It's a lovely night, isn't it?" he purred happily to the beautiful she-cat, whom he suspected he was growing feelings for.

Crowclaw followed Riverclan into the gathering, his flaming eyes narrowed to slits. Fourtrees brought back memories of the battle, where he had killed his father. He wasn't upset about that- no, his father had deserved to die. He was upset that the Dark Forest lost, and now he had to pretend to be a Starclan follower. Without a word, he settled down beside Tawnystorm, his sleek black fur brushing up against her's. The suffocating crowd around them was like a raging sea of water, and Crowclaw felt like he was drowning. He hated water with all of his heart, soul, and mind. WIth a racing heart, he pressed slightly closer to the she-cat, his bright amber eyes darting around in fear.

Adderpaw followed Shadowclan into the gathering, his thick black fur swaying with the breeze. He sat down with a few of his clan mates and waited quietly.

Gingerpaw followed Skyclan in, her beautiful blue eyes shimmering happily. She found Breezepaw, the only "friend" she really had, but he was talking to someone else already. She sat down nearby, but not close enough to hear what they were saying.

Moonlight padded into Fourtrees with a wide smile, she was a bit upset with the fact that Crowstar wasn’t coming with the rest of the clan, but after losing his life he had been terribly weak, so she understood the reason of why he decided to stay in camp at the end.

Sootpaw padded into Fourtrees a couple of tailenghts behind his clan, silent as a shadow and head low, clearly not wanting any social interaction right there and then. He took his place between the cats of RiverClan, right besides Thistlepaw, but being careful enough to keep his distance from any other cat to not be dragged into an unwanted conversation.

Nightheart, looked at the other clans as they arrived as she chatted with some of the cats of her own clan. Usually she wouldn’t really pay attention to them, but something had managed to catch her attention, a certain cat between those of RiverClan. She wasn’t close enough to be sure, but for a second she thought she had seen her lost sister between their apprentices, and now she was sincerely considering to get up and walk closer to find out.

Pinepaw's fierce gaze landed on where a WindClan tom seemed to be showing himself off to Sheeppaw and Softpaw. He joined them without a glance at the she-cat he loved, yet he knew she didn't really love him back. But he wouldn't let that 'Lionpaw' to show off to her.

Sheeppaw didn't seem to be impressed with Lionpaw, so she just shook her head and narrowed her eyes, "Trying to flatter me into liking you isn't going to work." She said, looking away and focusing on the actions of cats from her own Clan. She knew that Pinepaw was there so that was just another reason to not care about this situation.

Softpaw had no clue who this cat was, he wasn't from her Clan, so she just lowered her chin a little bit and looked up at Lionpaw with wide eyes
"O-oh...I'm Softpaw..." She murmured, in a high-pitched and rather frightened voice.

Tinylegs padded into the gathering next to Moonlight, happy as can be. This was his first gathering as a warrior and there was no more DarkForest to deal with. Looking around, the little cat was somewhat intimidated by all the cats. Looking around, he didn't really know if he should mingle or just stay by his clan.

Antdrop padded reluctantly into the gathering, sitting in a corner and waiting for the leaders to get started.

Lionpaw ignored the two's impoliteness, and turned to thed third. "What's your name? Is this your first Gathering, too?" he asked kindly. The she-cat looked a little shy.

Cloverpool flicked her tail in greeting as she sat down beside the other elders smiling a bit.

Featherpaw sat alone looking around for Runningpaw eagerly but when she didn't see him she grew disappointed.

Goldpaw sat by her self wrapping her cinnamon colored tail around her paws and watched the cats come into the clearing with pale light green eyes.

Hickorypad flicked his tail waiting for the gathering to start.

Softpaw slowly nodded at what Lionpaw said, this tom didn't seem very rude or horrible, so she lifted her head to meet his gaze more clearly.
"I thought I already said my name...m-maybe not...I'm Softpaw. And yes, this is my first Gathering." The diluted tortoiseshell said with a sheepish smile.

Lionpaw's whiskers twitched in embarrassment. "I guess I didn't hear you. What Clan are you from, Softpaw?"
