September Gathering 2016

Pinepaw and Amberpaw padded into the clearing behind Darkstar. Pinepaw was lookingnat the ground, probably hissing to himself about something, completely absent from the scene, while Amberpaw looked around happily, purring with pleasure.

Falconpaw padded into the gatheri with his tail high, throwing looks like daggers to the other cats of other clans, or even to his clanmates. They were to stay away from his, and not embarrass him. The apprentice was pretty sure those cats were more than embarrassing.

Emberpaw had noticed Blacktwig and looked away as Mosspaw came over, she didn't quite like them together, she still liked Blacktwig but she did have a small bit of liking on Smokepelt too. She closed her eyes as she looked forwards.

Mistywater entered the gathering, she took a seat and looked down at her son with a smile.

Pebblepaw walked with ThunderClan, the warrior-like tom sat down and waited for the Clan leaders to share their news.

Though Mosspaw came and sat down beside him, he gave her a quick nod before returning his gaze to Emberpaw. At gatherings he knew he wanted to talk to her, being given news, and just getting to know her better. But instead he was staring longingly across the clearing.

Mosspaw looked at Blacktwig quizzically, tracing his gaze across the clearing. Her eyes landed on a calico she-cat, one from WindClan.
"Oooh....you LIKE her!"

Blacktwig flinched, his ears lowering. "K-Keep it quiet," he stammered, his tail curling around himself. "U-Uh.. I..." His fur bristled as he barred his tail over Mosspaw's mouth to silence her. "Don't tell anyone." He whisper-hissed, refusing to look at the she-cat.

Blizzardshine walked into Fourtrees with a wide smile, even if it almost vanished for a second at the sight of the bloodstains that still could be easily spotted on the grass and trees, as well as the signs of a fierce battle, a battle she wished never have to go through again in her lifetime and, once it was over, during her stay between the stars.

The white warrior quickly shook her head to get rid of such dark memories as she padded towards the warriors and apprentices of the other clans with a smile that most cats would give to old friends instead of someone the just met, nodding respectfully as a greeting, hoping that they would be willing to talk with her. The peaceful interaction between clans…unluckily she never had witnessed it before thanks to the constant fights that the Dark Forest had forced everyone attending to endure, but she hoped to finally be able to tell the younger cats at camp about it instead of being the one that has to listen to the older cats to know how these went.

Hawkpaw quieltly padded with the clan, her head down and aviding the gaze of WindClan's cats.

Fishstar had to take a moment to collect herself before she set out to Fourtrees. In the cool air of her den she sat, her mind recollecting everything that had happened over the past two moons. Last time she'd been at Fourtrees, the grass had been matted and stained scarlet with the blood of all four Clans. The sky had been dark. The screams of countless warriors and apprentices, dead and living, were still ringing in the back of the she-cat's mind. Over and over, she reassured herself mentally that it was over. The Dark Forest was gone - They had been driven out of the forest for good, thanks to the combined efforts of StarClan and all of those who believed in them. Fishstar couldn't help but feel anxious, though.

The RiverClan leader rose to her paws and gave her pelt a rigorous shake - to both rid herself of her mossy bedding, and to rid herself of her anxieties. Stepping out of her den, she glanced up at the sky. StarClan hung above her, distant and bright - watching and guiding.

The Dark Forest had been vanquished. Everything was back to the way it was supposed to be. Things weren't going to be easy - as always - but the Clans that had been severed by evil were together once more. Feeling a significantly more confident, the RiverClan leader let out a much-needed sigh of relief and rallied the Clan to her. Without much hesitation, they set off for Fourtrees, and arrived swiftly. Fishstar's steps slowed as she entered the clearing, taking in the sight. The undesirable memories of the bloodstained ground and battle cries came rushing back immediately, but she promptly pushed them away. That was the past. It was high time that the Clans had a normal Gathering, for the first instance in forever.

Fishstar bounded up onto the Great Rock and sat down, eyes sweeping over the leaders and the gathered cats below. Where was Thrushstar?

Tawnystorm followed her leader into Fourtrees proudly. A real Gathering now, under the guidance of StarClan. The undyingly loyal young warrior sat down amongst her clan, recalling the last time she'd been here, where fur and claws were flying. Blood had been spilled and darkness had ruled. And yet, the light had prevailed in the end, and things seemed to be settling into the norm. Looking around, she noticed Lepoardfang sitting in Thrushstar's place. What had happened to the old ShadowClan leader? Surely, he can't have lost his last life already?

Morningfog trotted into the clearing, looking around at the grim area,a sense of triumph seemed to hang over most cats but she felt nothing like that. She just felt out of place. Her soft fur laid flat for once as she sat down near the edge of the clearing where some roots kept her off the cool damp ground.


Lightningstrike strode into the clearing and saw the bloody clearing for the first time. He stifled a gasp and swiftly looked up at the moon instead. The lost battle he didn't get to fight thanks to the fact many kits of his needed to be watched. Now he got to see the carnage. The tom padded over to Redfeather and gave a forced smile before looking up at the leaders.

Smokepaw paddedmwith thenRiverClanners and joined Morningfog, as he saw her sitting grimly all by herself. The tomcat purred inmgreeting as he approached the warrior and sat down besides her, flicking his tail with a sliht note of affection over the she-cat's shoulder. "Feeling down?" Smokepaw asked her as he settled himself comfortably besides Morningfog

Willowbreeze padded into fourtrees behind her sister and took a seat next to her. Her gaze swept the clearing, before her gaze stopped on great rock where she saw Leopardfang instead of Thrushstar sat. She tilted her head slightly, confused. Thrushstar couldn't have lost his last life could he? she thought to herself, tail tip flicking curiously.

Littlebrook padded into the clearing beside Lightningstrike, her mind going back to what happend at the last gathering. A shiver went down her spine at the thought, but she sat down next to Lightningstrike putting a smile on her face.

Nutpaw padded joyfully into the clearing, following ShadowClan. How exciting was this? Her first Gathering! With a skip in her step and a happy light in her amber eyes, she settled down in a spot that was close to the Highrock. She wanted a front row seat for her first ever time in Fourtrees. She knew that the last two times the Clans had been here, there had been chaos and violence. Blood had been spilled, and many heartbreaking deaths had occurred. She let her gaze wander around Fourtrees curiously. There were so many cats here, and Nutpaw wished that she could speak to them all, but she knew that it would take her an awfully long time to do so.

Sheeppaw padded into Fourtrees with ThunderClan, her head held high with pride. Her pelt was nicely groomed, as she wanted to make a good impression on the other Clans and make them know that even though she was young, she wasn't immature and did frivolous things. She sat as far away from Pinepaw as she could, not trying to let him haunt her thoughts like he usually did. She sat down beside a diluted tortoiseshell with a silent nod of greeting, before looking up at the leaders on the Highrock.

Softpaw had been curious to find out more about Gatherings, but she was unprepared to witness the amount of cats in one place. She had blinked in surprise the moment she entered. She kept her head down, and slinked over to sit somewhere that was with ThunderClan, but not on the middle of all the others. Her ears flattened against her head as she scanned the crowd, sighing. Hopefully no strangers came up to speak to her. She then turned her head to see a white fluffy she-cat, who she knew was Sheeppaw, sit beside her.
Sheeppaw? The rude one? What if she tries to boss me around... Softpaw thought, within a shy nod in reply to Sheeppaw's silent greeting.

Vixenheart headed into Fourtrees, noticing instantly that SkyClan was the last Clan to arrive. When doubts started rising in her chest, she quickly swallowed them, and lifted her chin in attempts to look confident. She was confident, but it wasn't wrong to be a small bit nervous, was it? She glanced back at SkyClan, that had filed in behind her. The ginger and white she-cat made a beeline for the Great Rock, not moving too fast or too slow. Vixenheart gracefully leaped up on top of the rock, being in the presence of the other four leaders. She nodded respectively to each of them, "Greetings." She said, calmly.
It was at that moment that she realized that Leopardfang was here instead of Thrushstar. She wondered if the leader had died, completely. Had there ever been a Gathering where not one but two deputies took their leaders place temporarily? It was understandable, though. Cats were still recovering from the Dark Forest battle

Swanpaw practically darted into the clearing, her blue eyes sparkling with curiosity. Her first Gathering! How exciting was that? She padded up to her sister, Softpaw, and sat down beside her. She tilted her head to look at Sheeppaw, the apprentice who she heard was sharp-tongued and sarcastic. The white apprentice shrugged it off, deciding that Sheeppaw wouldn't do anything stupid at a Gathering.
"Isn't this awesome, Softpaw? Our first Gathering!" She said to the diluted tortoiseshell beside her.

Halfpaw was instantly overwhelmed by how many cats there were. She padded over to sit by Morningshine, wanting to be by someone she was close to during the Gathering. She knew nobody from any of the other Clans, and she feared that some of them might be hostile. Halfpaw knew that no cat would attack, but they certainly could attack with words at any time tonight, especially if she went to speak to the wrong cat.

Cinderpaw looked up at the leaders on the Great Rock, but wondered why both Leopardfang and Vixenheart were there. She hoped that Thrushstar and Crowstar were alright. Having two deputies at a Gathering was a bad sign to her. She lashed her gray tail anxiously, and let her amber eyes wander elsewhere.

Morningshine trotted into the clearing with a bright and cheery smile on her muzzle. This would her first peaceful Gathering, as the one she had attended last time was an awful, horrible battle. Thankfully everything was normal again, and StarClan watched over the Clan cats. She settled down behind Amberpaw, and looked around at the cats that occupied Fourtrees from all five Clans. She had already noticed the two deputies on the Great Rock.
Oh, gosh, I hope nothing too bad happened in ShadowClan and SkyClan. She thought, before looking down to see Halfpaw. She rested her muzzle on the she-cat's head briefly before looking back up at the Great Rock.
