Flashstorm let out a grunt of sorts as the fighting broke out. Well then... Flashstorm's eyes staid glued on Saltpelt and he frowned at her. He was still contemplating what he was going to do. He wasn't going to join in on the fight yet, instead, he'd wait for a cat to come to him.

Dreamleaf stared at the fighting with horror in her Amber eyes. How was she supposed to heal her injured clan mates now?! Dreamleaf didn't know what to do about this, so she staid as hidden as possible.

OOC: Mini-announcement/reminder from the Mod Squad:

All deceased DF characters are automatically given deputy stats; 100 HP and 280 SP. All living DF have an HP boost of +5 for apprentices, and +15 for warriors. SP boost is +20 for apprentices and +40 for warriors. Both living and dead DF cats are capable of using these exclusive moves:

Blinding Strike - Rake your opponent across the eyes to blind them - Extra +5 damage for next move
Twisting Bite -  Bite down on your opponent's pelt and twist your head to tear at their fur

Damage and stamina cost is listed in this announcement post. Further more, the living DF cats have an added advantage: each cat gets a rank-up in terms of moves and moves only. Apprentices use newly appointed warrior moves and damage, NAWs use young warrior moves and damage, and so on and so forth. If you're a senior warrior already then tough luck.

Go back and edit stats if you must, but you cannot change moves used or damage already done.

Also, please refrain from posting new topics that take place after the gathering; we don't know the outcome yet and how it will affect future events.

Gentlenose wasn't sure what to think. All she knew was that these Dark Forest cats were threatening her clan and endangering her family. "Blizzardpaw, Sedgepaw, come here," she hissed, wanting to keep her kits close. What would she do if one of them was injured? Gentlenose's gaze flickered up to Jayflight. What was he doing, talking to a Dark Forest cat? Mistrust creeped through her, but for now, faith in her mate still held strong. Jayflight couldn't be in line with the Dark Forest... That was impossible... right?

Snowstorm couldn't take it anymore. She was glad to see cats fighting. That meant it could be fine for her to fight. She had a fire in her that grew every battle, and finally, it consumed her whole. She climbed up one of the great oaks. She leaped down. She landed Eveningsong with her claws unsheathed.

Snowstorm used Sky Drop on Eveningsong, dealing 27 damage and costing 35 stamina.

The explosion of battle was expected, Blossompaw looked on smugly as cats tore into each other. This was the outcome she'd been hope for, now it was time to stretch her paws and get into the battle. She went for the obvious target, the she-cat deftly weaving past the bickering apprentices to pounce onto Dreamleaf, the medicine cat of ThunderClan. Ah, it was good to fight the living again. The calico bit down onto the she-cat's pelt, twisting her head to rip her teeth deeper and tear out a chunk.

"Run away now, Dreamleaf, and I might let you live."

"It brings me no joy to do this." Sunwhisker meowed solemnly, before he pounced onto Thrushstar. The tom pinned the leader down, tearing his claws into the younger tom's pelt. Another life, he might admired the leader, been impressed by his strong loyalty to clan and his long rule, but in this life, he needed to take him out.

Dreamleaf thrashed in agony as the medicine cat tried to wriggle free. Dreamleaf remembered the last time that she'd been caught in a fight and it hasn't ended well... and these cats were much stronger than she was.
"P-Please let me go," Dreamleaf managed and she shut her eyes. She couldn't take on someone that strong...
(She'll get her chance soon)

Leopardfang didn't like the way the she-cat was talking. It was like she relished the battle, something that the tom hated. These strangers were not like the others, they seemed a little less solid and a whole lot colder. He recoiled at the pain and then bared his fangs, striking like a snake. He grabbed his opponent by the scruff and shook violently like a dog and its prey.

Leopardfang used Scruff shake, dealing 16 damage and using 25 stamina. Cherryface is stunned for 1 turn.

Smokestorm's cold eyes stayed unchanged when they fight broke out. He admired the tom that had the guts to start a fight in a sacred place and time. He obviously did not bend to the will of others, like so many had. However, it seemed that Smokestorm would not get the honorable fight he was hoping for, and instead caught the eye of a smaller tom in the distance, trying to hide in some bushes. "Pathetic." He said aloud, before charging into his living prey.

Smokestorm used Run-and-tackle on Elkheart, dealing 25 damage and using 10 stamina.

I spy with my little eye, a little she-cat with nothing to do… One-eye stared across the gap. This was her favorite part. The lithe ginger she-cat sprinted through the cats and immediately made very painful contact with Gentlenose. She didn’t stop; she moved again, and struck a second time.

One-eye used Run-and-tackle on Gentlenose, dealing 25 damage and using 10 stamina.

Firepaw’s level of excitement sky-rocketed when the spotted tomcat struck Cherryface. The small ginger tom bounced on his paws, fully enjoying the wanton bloodshed. ”Oh, they don’t know what they’re doing!” He exclaimed, watching with glee. Oh, but there was a little convert--one by the name Cinnamonpaw, he thought—who looked like she was just about finished. Well, he didn’t like her or her kind, but he liked the StarClan-followers even less, so he decided to give her a little help. He pushed through the crowd of fighting cats and bent down to her face, not bothering with the living cat on top of her. ”Hey you! Brat! Eat this and don’t complain!” He shoved a bundle of bark and leaves into her open jaws, having known exactly where to get what he was looking for. ”Enjoy!” He scampered off to get a better view, his green eyes flashing in joy.

Firepaw used Major Heal on Cinnamonpaw, healing 15 health and using 30 stamina.

Cinnamonpaw swallowed the poltice. She gained adrenaline and felt way stronger.
She attempted to knock her off but failed miserably, she sighed.

"Pathetic." Blossompaw scoffed, leaping off the medicine cat. Fighting limping kits gave her no joy, the she-cat rolled her eyes and walked off, slinking away to find someone more worthy to fight in the battle.

Dreamleaf hissed. She had to stay alive and she had to keep moving. The medicine cat clicked away the insult. She wasn't trained in combat, and she didn't like fighting. She moved around the outer ring of the gathering, trying to spot the other medicine cats. Maybe they could formulate a plan?

Flashstorm grunted as cats hissed and spat and snarled. He didn't want to fight, but he'd have to by now. The ginger tom stood frozen in place, watching the crowd of writhing cats.
