May's Gathering 2016

Ashwing shook her head. Crowstar was a traitor to everything being a Clan leader stood for! It was a disgrace. At his new announcement, she bristled in shock. This couldn't be happening! She could not allow any of her Clanmates to fall away to this darkness. "I am not afraid of you, Crowstar," she snarled. This whole thing was absurd. Of course StarClan was there! And they would protect her. "StarClan is still here, and if I need, they will give me strength to fight you. These cats with their false promises can't help you. You aren't making SkyClan strong- you're weakening it more than ever! If you keep going with this, and associating with these wicked cats, then your Clan is no longer worthy to be considered a Clan, and you are no longer worthy to be called a leader." She looked at the warriors in the crowd. "If you are loyal to StarClan and the warrior code, need refuge from those who join these monsters, or your Clan casts you out, you are always welcome in WindClan. We have always been the Clan closest to the warrior code, and we will not stray from it now!"

Nettletail grinned at her leaders' announcement. Finally, SkyClan would no longer be a Clan of weaklings! "Join our Clan if you are strong," she agreed. "There is no longer any room for the weak in SkyClan!" She sneered at the WindClan deputy's rebelliousness. All the worse for her Clan, to add more cowards to their ranks.

Frecklepaw flinched at the she-cat's tone. No... This was all wrong! "I'll never join you," she hissed at the Dark Forest cat. "I'm loyal to ShadowClan!"

Wildfang looked up at Thrushstar with pain. No not now! The clans needed their leaders to help in this moment of crisis. Wildfsng's claws dug into the soft earth and he glared so heavily at Webtail and Cinnamonpaw it could've killed.
"How dare you join these mangy fox-hearts! I thought you were warriors of Shadowclan! All you are are traitors! Do you know their true want? How do you know they sent lying to you! They only list for power, they'll just use you then toss you aside like soggy prey," Wildfang shouted. Anger welled up inside him.

Dreamleaf stood up and composed herself. We're the medicine cats the last cats that truly believed in Starclan, were they the only ones that didn't doubt Starclan? Dreamleaf look at her friends and blinked. Did they still believe or were they doubting Starclan now? All the cats were yelling and she knew that the clans were going to divide and chaos was going to ensue very soon.

Flashstorm hissed at the Dark Forest cats

Ivyfall was conflicted, but the power Morningstar offered was too much of a temptation for the she-cat. How many RiverClan cats had died by the hands of monsters, twolegs, and other clan cats? When has StarClan intervened to help them? Were their warrior ancestors even worth following if they lost so easily to these usurpers? "I think we're all being to hasty in wanting to oust these cats. Morningstar, explain what you mean. How can you give us power? What do you offer us?"

Snowstorm could barely take it anymore. Having her own mate and leader betray her, no, Breezestar, Blackpaw, and Sandfeather, and all of StarClan. "Who do you think sent Silentstar to band us together? Do you think the dark forest were the ones who always sent kits and prey, and StarClan sat back watching them? No, it was the other way around. What could StarClan even do to defeat monsters, foxes, badgers, or anything that kills? Dark Forest cats murder and betray their clans, so you think StarClan should reward them with a place in the skies, and shouldn't punish them with the loneliness they deserve? Fine, don't "justify" yourself. I'm done trying to make sense with you." she demanded. 'Here is your power, you just need to murder cats and betray your friends and family and we should all be fine. she mocked in her head.

She turned her head away from Crowstar, her mate, her leader, the one who betrayed her.

The large cat held his tail up, silencing the cats. His stilted eyes staring down at the cats who voiced their devotion to StarClan. They did not know a thing, they were just mere warriors. They have not seen the many things that Morningstar had. It would be best if he taught them their ways. Another flash of lightning raced across the sky, the resulting boom much stronger than the first. Yellow reflecting in his eyes, the large cat stared down at the mousebrained cats who dared to reject his kind offer.

"StarClan has abandoned you. Even mere warriors like you should know this." His gaze landed on Ashwing. "Where is your leader then? Surely StarClan granted them nine lives?" Moving his eyes toward the sky. "You say StarClan is watching over you?" Morningstar asked in a dark voice, tail swaying. "Look to the sky. Legend says that there is one star for every cat who has gone to StarClan. They watch from the stars, correct?" He paused to let the other cats look toward the skies. "There are no stars in the sky. They cannot see you. They have left, abandoning you to your fate." He looked back down to the cats. "We are here to lead you now. Our cats will take care of you. We will give you the strength to take care of your clan, your kin, and your friends."

Slowly, he shook his head side to side. "You all are too young to understand what we have gone through, as you are in fact mere warriors. What could you know about the workings of the afterlife?" A growl slipped into his voice. "Again, we will lead the less knowledgeable in times when they are lost." With that, he turned to the leaders. "It seems you do not accept our rule." His yellow eyes slowly closed.

"Leave. Do not come back, or you will be chased out." Eyes opened to reveal a green tint to his eyes. Claws slid from his paws, and ears tilted back. "More responsible cats will be put in your place, do not worry. Your clan will be well cared for." Giving them a smirk, the large tom turned back to the group of cats.

"Frostfall, you will lead RiverClan. Saltpelt will take over WindClan. Treestep will assume the leader position for ThunderClan. Finally, Webtail will take the lead for ShadowClan." His eyes looked towards Crowstar. "Crowstar, being a wise cat will keep his position."

"You can't do that!" Flashstorm cried out in desperation. The tom looked at Saltpelt with a distressed eyes. His Amber eyes filled with a great sadness and he lowered his head. The clans were going to fall apart. The young Windclan warrior looked at the clearing of cats. Everything was going to shatter. Where was Starclan... Flashstorm's eyes returned to Saltpelt.

Wildfang pressed himself against Spiderfur's side unknowingly. Shock crawled through his fur like spiders. They were doing what now?! He was too afraid to speak at that moment.

Dreamleaf stood up abruptly.
"You cannot do that you power-hungry rats!" Dreamleaf spat. Her eyes betrayed her voice, showing the fear and hopelessness in her eyes.

Ashwing growled at Morningstar. "You can't do that! StarClan put me here, and I'm not going to leave!" But her voice was growing more desperate. Was StarClan gone?

Nettletail nodded at the Dark Forest leaders' announcement, but wished Crowstar wasn't one of them. If not for that weak cat, she would lead SkyClan, she was sure of it. Oh well... She could wait...

Frecklepaw shook her head in disbelief. This couldn't be happening! Could it?...

Cinnamonpaw hissed "WHY COULD'NT I HAVE RULED??" she hissed outloud, trying to start an uproar with a fight included. She cried for a split second because she had always wanted to rule.

"Because your a whiny little kit who doesn't deserve a life in this forest!" Vixenpaw yowled over to Cinnamonpaw, purposely mocking her, "Your evil anyway, and you shouldn't lead a Clan with evil in the first place!"
She sank her claws into the dirt, hissing with fury. Someone had to do something about this nonsense!

Cinnamonpaw made her way over to vixenpaw, stomping every step of the way. Then she got all up into her face and yowled "your messing with the wrong cat, go run to the nursery and cry to your mommy" she hit her face with her claw purposefully, causing a small trickle of blood on the other cat's face.

OOC: O snap. Its about to go down

Vixenpaw scowled, hissing. She hated fighting, she would never fight unless it was absolutely necessary, but she had to.
"Did you really just do that...? Well here, let me return the favor!" She said, running her claw briefly along Cinnamonpaw's nose, letting blood trickle out of the wound. Some of the blood from the cut on her forehead dripped into her eyes, and Vixenpaw winced as the blood continued to drip down her cheeks. It looked like she was crying blood. She waited for Cinnamonpaw to retaliate.
"Nursery? Ha, look who's talking Cinnamonkit. I don't even think you have a mommy to go run to!" She growled.

She stood there for a moment in brief shock, and then she made a move. "Thats Ok Vixenkit you take yours and I will just rule the forest while you are crying like a newborn kit!" she pounced on vixenpaw and scratched her side.

(Don't worry I won't kill her, Just a fight ;3)

Mudfoot stepped between the two apprentices, giving a menacing hiss. "You will not fight!" he growled to his apprentice, then the other cat. "Your insults are pointless, stop this nonsense!" He meowed, furious at their stupid little fight. With all that was going on, couldn't they tell that they needed to stay calm? Looking to Vixenpaw, he gave a growl. "Don't think you're getting away with this little "fight", just because of everything else, I won't forget about it."

Cinnamonpaw Looked at the cat with slit eyes, then hissed, her ears flat against her head and continued to fight the cat.

Flashstorm slammed his paw into Cinnamonpaw's side with a hiss of outrage.
"Why don't you just be quiet you mangy traitor," Flashstorm snapped. He'd enough, his rational side was gone now.
