Sliding into Home [Open for TC - Staff Generated Event]

Dinner time! Grab a bite to eat and sit down with your family. Times like these must be relished, especially with Leaf-bare approaching fast. Anyone can post, and it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that everyone posts. There's no post limit, or posting order, but you must roll the effect dice once with one of your posts.

The elderly tom stretched out in fading sunlight, having found a small pile of leaves to lay upon. He couldn't do much else, really, and it annoyed the living foxdung out of him. All Foxfang could do nowadays was scratch at his old scars and harmlessly bicker with Specklefur about, well, everything. Honestly, what was the point in being an elder? A still sharp eye spotted a nice thrush hidden under a leaf, and although it was already dead, he pretended to pounce on it. He looked around just in case anyone saw him do such a strange thing. He'd probably share it if the returning hunting patrol didn't bring enough back.

Darkpaw entered camp with almost a glow about her, she could be seen grinning around the squirrel in his jaws. She showed much promise in hunting, and today was the best example. The fat rodent was almost too easy, but the apprentice knew it would be much harder come Leafbare, yet she didn't understand how difficult. She trotted to the pile and put down her catch to trade it with a mouse, hoping a nursing queen would be wise enough to pick up the squirrel. She then sat next to the apprentice's stump, happily chewing on her prey.

Silverkit jumped in joy at a flapping moth in the middle of camp. It was the only place she was allowed to stay, anyways. The only things she could do every day was jump and prance about, which to some cats, would be 'wasting energy'. But to Silverkit, it was all worth it. These days she had to find crazy ways to entertain herself, whether it be arguing with Applekit, running around in circles with Songkit, or pouncing on imaginary prey, which in Silverkit's view was extremely boring.

Her stomach grumbled in despair. Even though she promised herself she would not eat unless she really needed to, she couldn't take it anymore. One piece of prey couldn't hurt... She quickly grabbed the thinnest vole she could find and ate it in very few bites. Silverkit, for a change, was actually starting to like fresh-kill.

Bluepaw looked at the beautiful forest outside of camp and smiled. She cherished the beautiful moment and she padded lightly over to the fresh kill pile. She picked up a squirrel, her favorite piece of prey. The old apprentice lowered herself down and settled into the ground. She realizes that none of her family were here. She shook her head and began to eat. Maybe someone would like to eat with her.

Petalpaw padded from the apprentices den after a nice nap. Today was her free day, so she'd had time to rest up.

Blinking her eyes to adjust to the sun-fall light, she realized how pretty it was out today. Her white pelt gleamed in the bright sunshine, and she puffed out her chest proudly.

It was a pleasure to see the food pile stocked full of delicious prey, and she bounded across the clearing. She looked around to make sure none of the elders or experienced warriors wanted any prey. When she saw no one, she satisfied herself by picking out a plump squirrel that had two neat rows of teen marks on the neck.

Petalpaw sniffed the teeth marks to know for certain a ThunderClan warrior had caught it, and then carried over to sit by Bluepaw. "Hello, Bluepaw!" she purred to her Clanmate, and then took a small, neat bite out of her squirrel. She crunched the bones happily, thinking how sharp all of the Clan cats' teeth were from biting through the strong muscles beneath each piece of prey's pelt.

Frozenflame stretched in the golden light of the setting sun, his muscles aching after a long day of hunting and patrolling. He decided that he deserved at least a short break to relax and enjoy himself with the rest of the clan. The grey and ginger warrior jogged over to the medium-sized fresh kill pile and grabbed a thresh, then carried it over to Bluepaw and Petalpaw. The experienced warrior sat down and took a bite, not sure what to say. He didn't really know the apprentices that much but decided to say something. "Hello, Bluepaw and Petalpaw," Frozenflame purred. "How is your training coming along?"

Marshpaw padded over to Bluepaw and sat down next to her. The tom was mighty hungry and was excited to have a good meal. He purred as he sat next to her. "How are you today?" He asked, smiling. Even since they became mates, his mood towards her did not change. He knew she didn't have a family to sit with- she lost most of her family. But he would always be there for her. The tom began to bite into a squirrel.

She recluantly trudged out of the nursery, yawning with each step. She was very, very lonely... It was unhealthy. She waited for someone to point her out and start yelling and screaming insults. "Hello," She greeted Petalpaw uncertainly. She didn't understand what the meaning of 'hello' was, everyone had said it so she figured it was good. "I'm Applekit," she said, shivering crazily from the tension between her and everyone else. 


She peered around at her surroundings, blinking. She quickly thundered forward, and pulled a vile from the Fresh Kill Pile. Sunpelt probably doesn't think I even deserve to eat. She thought sadly, heading back to her place next to Petalpaw. She took one bite of her vole, feeling slightly embarrassed for no apparent reason.
