March Gathering 2013

While the breeze was still a chilly one, the night sky was open and clear, and all of StarClan seemed to be watching - shining brightly down upon the clans that night as they all gathered under the full moon. Dark red and black stains from the great battle before were still to be seen in some places, but the harsh rains had all but washed most scents of the old rogue group away. The four trees were sprouting bright, new-leaves and all seemed to call for a peaceful new beginning in the forest.

ShadowClan would be the first to arrive, their scents of RiverClan gone away and looking a bit renewed in their strides; Sagestar led his clan in, wasting no time in bounding across the clearing and sitting tall under the Great Rock, awaiting the rest of the forest.

Raccoonstar stood from her spot, and walked into the gathering with her clan close behind her. The battle brought some big changes to her clan. A change in leadership, some warriors still healing up from the battle. Raccoonstar herself was covered in some scars the Emicho left behind. Also another thing was that this was Raccoonstar's first Gathering. Oh boy this should be fun..

Falconfang followed just behind Raccoonstar, looking upon Fourtrees for the first time since the end of the battle with those vicious rogues. The stench of war had faded away, but the stains of the encounter still remained, making an involuntary shudder go down his spine. Shaking away the thoughts, he held his head high as the clan moved into the clearing. It had been quite awhile since the previous gathering, and in that gathering, Falconfang had been a younger warrior; now he was the deputy of Windclan! He couldn't wait to see the operations of the gathering from where the deputies sat.

Thunderclan was the third to arrive, Lionstar in the lead. The golden-furred tom jogged quickly down into the clearing, several Thunderclan members behind. He paid no attention to the leftover signs of war scattered here and there, but simply waited by the Great Rock's sloping area for the rest of the clans to arrive. Glancing around, it seemed as if they were only missing Riverclan and Skyclan.

Embershade followed Lionstar, her orange pelt making notice that she was there. She glanced around the clearing, noting that ShadowClan and WindClan had already arrived.

Shadepaw followed her mentor, Falconfang. This would be her first ever gathering, and she was very excited. She hoped she wouldn't screw this up in front of all the other clans...

Seeing ShadowClan and WindClan Possumpaw suddenly felt scared. Staying close to her clanmates she stared around. She saw her mentor, Lionstar heading to Great Rock. Then excitement flooded over her. Her first Gathering!

A well groomed, blue eyed she-cat followed shortly after Sagestar. Her head raised in pride, and she gazed around the hollow. It seemed like just moments ago, that the clans fought for their homes, families, and kin. Nightwing thought about how proud she was in her clan, and they will never be driven out again, not while Nightwing was still alive. The deputy's eyes fell to the area where Almaric passed. Still walking, she followed her leadher half way, then broke apart, and she tore her blue gaze from the spot. Slowly padding, she found a spot near the front of the rock. Her gaze less serious, and more easy going. Curling her black and white tail over her paws, she waited patiently.

Coming behide WindClan was Stormeye. His gaze flickered from cat to cat as he made his way into the clearing. Where would he sit? He hadn't sat in the crowd in moons and yet here he was. Sighing, he sat down by himself, his head hung low as he raised a paw to his blind eye. Oh how he wish he could still see with it...

Silverpaw padded in with ShadowClan, eyes shining. My first Gathering! She thought, resisting the urge to leap around with joy. She looked around the wide clearing, before her eyes settled on the great rock in the front center. She wondered if she would ever be a leader, and stand on that rock one day.

But seriously why Erins, why in the center!?!?

Mosspelt limp/trotted into the clearing, noticing all the signs of the previous battle. The shivered then sat where the deputies sat and dipped his head to Falconfang "You must be a new deputy, well congratulations, I'm Mosspelt" he said cheerfully.

Falconfang turned towards the deputy greeting him. Mosspelt, hm? "Hi Mosspelt," he replied in kind, giving him a smile. "So this is where we'll be sitting, huh?" The view wasn't much different, but it felt a lot different, more empowering... Let's not get a swelled head here.

Minteyes strode into Fourtrees along with the rest of WindClan. She was up for much conversing today and so she just found herself a spot and sat down.

Mosspelt nodded and looked at the leaders, Hm...it looks like SkyClan and RiverClan aren't here yet...

Striding into the clearing, Froststar held her head high, her slick fur cover up most of her wounds. There was a healing scrape across her cheek, a deep scar on her stomach, but otherwise she appeared fine, even though she had lost two lives just a few days. Crouching down, the she-cat leaped onto the Greatrock, dipping her head politely at each leader, avoiding their gazes.
