Firstly, an addition to the Roleplaying and Character Guidelines. Beginning today, if your character hasn’t been included in a topic for three consecutive months, and you haven’t posted an activity notice, the character will be deemed inactive and will be removed from allegiances. This is to prevent users from only posting in activity checks and keeping names so that other users cannot use them.

Staff is implementing some changes to some pre-existing rules! Firstly, changes and clarifications have been made to the rules regarding litter limitations. The adjustments are as follows:

• If a character adopts a litter while the litter is young (kits/newly named apprentice) then it counts towards one of the litter slots.

Beginning January 1st, 2023, litter limitations will be implemented on all WCC characters. This is something staff has discussed extensively and with good reason. This is in an effort to cut down on large bloodlines and to keep them from growing exponentially, which in the past has resulted in accidental incest. The following will be going into effect:

First of all: both Maple and myself will be stepping away from staff to focus on real life. Though we have enjoyed getting to support and give back to this community in as many ways as we have, neither of us can maintain a continued focus on staff at this current point in time. With bloodlines growing bigger by the day, staff brings a way to narrow down large bloodlines while also contributing to the upcoming plot in a way where everyone gets to keep their characters. Just as the sitewide update announcement, here says, along with perma-NPCs, this sitewide gives opportunity for temporary NPCs as well. While perma-NPCs come at the cost of TNRing your characters, these temporary NPCs are free for users to sign up for with no cost, just as with plot-related NPCs in the past. As usual, only one temporary NPC can be made per user, and the character will no longer be playable once the sitewide reaches its conclusion.
