Sitewide 2022-23 NPC Sign-ups
Just as the sitewide update announcement, here says, along with perma-NPCs, this sitewide gives opportunity for temporary NPCs as well. While perma-NPCs come at the cost of TNRing your characters, these temporary NPCs are free for users to sign up for with no cost, just as with plot-related NPCs in the past. As usual, only one temporary NPC can be made per user, and the character will no longer be playable once the sitewide reaches its conclusion.
Please note that these NPCs will not be immediately playable. An additional announcement will go out to the site at a later date when these characters will be able to be used, as well as containing more information about the whereabouts of these characters. Those that create a temporary NPC will be added to a Discord channel within the WCC server (or reached out to on-site if they are not in the server) once they are approved to allow Staff to share additional information ahead of time, as well as allow for planning between users, etc. Please note that these NPCs will not be currently residing with their Clan if you choose to give them a Clan background. Further details will be discussed privately/will be announced formally next month!

Description: Syc is kind and loving deep down, but a past of sadness has made it hard for her to open up to others. The Syc openly shown to others is standoffish, and often rude.

He is visibly old with his once pure white fur is slightly more dull and dirty since his old bones don't let him clean like he used to. Not completely blind, but his eyesight goes blurry from time to time making him squint.
Description: An old barn cat with a young adventurous soul and a kind heart.

Name: Hartstep Gender: female Rank: senior warrior Clan: WindClan Appearance: a ruddy tortoiseshell with mostly red long fur and an oddly long tail. Each step is composed and deliberate, leading to her warrior name. The left side of her face is scabbed over severely, starting just left of her eye which miraculously escaped unscathed. She’s missing her left ear from the same wound. An enormous bite scar is on the dip of her back, from a dog that nearly snapped her spine. There is also a prominent, long slash down her right shoulder from a fight, as well as several less noticeable scars littered across her body.
Description: Hartstep is an old warrior who still holds some faint memory of Finchstar, under whose leadership she was born. One of the most senior warriors in WC (if allowed). Nearly lost her life to the dog which gave her the bitemark on her back; this happened during her apprenticeship and she still hates dogs. Nearly lost her eye from a DF warrior. She defended WindClan when SkyClan attacked and gained the scar on her shoulder from this fight.
Weary of the long battle her entire life has seemed to be, yet remarkably selfless. Distrusting of other Clans. Was on the verge of retiring to become an elder. Responsible but much prefers to be a follower than a leader; she feels uncomfortable when circumstances require her to take up a leadership position. Kindly but doesn’t give two-mouse tails about what you think if you aren’t her leader, and totally unafraid to shove this in your face. Has seen all the troubles code-breaking can cause and just wants you to please, stop, and think about the consequences your actions will have for the whole forest.
If allowed, could she be my cat Russetpaw’s great-grandmother? Russet isn’t a perma NPC but does have NPC origins; I simply think this could add a little extra flavor if allowed :)
Description: She's curious, helpful, and upbeat. She often doesn't think things through first, and will offer herself for nearly anything as long as its exciting. She lost her tail to a dare her sibling suggested, but unfortunately hasn't learned her lesson. [Her brain is hard-wired to look at everything and go "anybody gonna climb that"]

❥Nala is a young, soft-furred ragdoll with a small figure and very few angular edges. She has long, fluffy fur that is as soft as it looks. It's mostly cloud-white with the exception of some dark brown/gentle tan coloration on her ears, around her eyes, and her tail. She has large, sky-blue eyes and a cute, bright pink nose. Overall, an adorable-looking young molly.

❥Nala is someone who gets underestimated... a lot—it's something she hates too. Sure, she may be young, and still has a lot to learn but none of that means she has to be babied and talked down to every waking second of her day! It surely wasn't her fault to come out looking so cute and innocent. All fluff and big, blue eyes. Honestly, it was so irritating to her. She needed room to grow and nobody was stepping back enough to give it to her. It's why she chose to leave her home. All the hovering and all the talk of how fragile and dainty she looked drove her to leave in the middle of the night. She yearned to learn all that there was far from her boring home. She did feel bad for leaving without saying goodbye but they wouldn't have let her out of their sights if she even eluded to the idea that she wanted to leave—didn't matter if it was only a few inches from the front lawn. So, the spunky young cat set off on her adventure to discover herself and the world around her. She's a dreamer but a determined one at that. She wanted to make her dreams come true and nothing will stand in her way!... Hopefully...
