Dawnhawk was still fast. She hadn’t expected any less, though the stinging pain magnified by the bitter winds always hurt more in reality than expectations. The stomped-down snow around the two patrols was muddied and splattered with bright red blood. This was the life of a warrior, wasn’t it? Goldenstar’s head jerked back from her opponent’s second blow, pulling her face away from pointed claws, and darted to one side to twist beneath Dawnhawk’s flurry of paws. It was a gamble that she had barely a moment to weigh. Blood-scent was filling her nose.

Klaus back-pedaled with a fury, even briefly rearing back like a startled horse to get away from the claws aimed for his gut. Thankfully Goldenstar's claws only swiped through empty air, maybe a bit of fur snagged on the ends of them as they ripped from his underbelly. That had been way too close. He despised going for another cat's belly only because it left him so exposed and was such a risk. This was the situation the Windclan leader was now in... and she was going to pay for it.

Klaus slammed his paws back down on the leader, burying his claws deep as his mouth frothed with rage at her attempt to open him up like a fish. She wanted to play like that? He was about to start chewing through whatever soft, sensitive skin he could bury his teeth into. Maybe he'd eat through her flesh and pull out her innards. Maybe he'd swallow whatever flesh was in his way. Tarot had eaten plenty of cats, and aside from a broken psyche, he was fine.

Torn was ready for this moment knowing it wasn't going to take long before the warrior tried the same move she did just moments before. The gold and white rogue did her best to pull herself free, twisting and turning to break the other's grip. She could feel the grip slipping and took full advantage of it to break herself out.

Smallbean's mouth fell open in surprise as within the blink of an eye Anastasia had evaded his attack and lashed back. His chest heaved as he stood across from the she-cat, a good deal of space between them. In a desperate attempt to do some damage on Anastasia, he darted behind her and used the same move she had previously used on him. He locked his jaws around her scruff and shook using as much energy as he could muster.
