Staff would like to announce that effective immediately, we will no longer be using anonymous forms for surveys on WCC.

Anonymous Surveys were started as a means for honest feedback to be provided to Staff, and while a good portion of our userbase has used it as intended, there has been a trend of misuse. Surveys have been used to harass Staff and HRs, or Anon Comments to speak poorly of others without consequences. All of these violate our code of conduct, which is why we are hopeful the changes below will help to improve our community standards and uphold the rules...

For a while, no kits shall be apprenticed. All warriors (besides Rosethorn, because of kits) are taken. So unless warriors share apprentices....

A new Clan has just moved to the edge of the forest, hunting and fighting among the trees where their pelts blend in with the trees around them. They call themselves SkyClan, and they need more Warriors.

When I joined back in December, it was virtually a new community for me. Everything was peaceful, everyone was nice, until I got into a trivial fight with an 11-year old (goes by Blazekit) who thought I was ignoring him when I was doing homework for High school. The webmaster (Mistpelt)...

Moonmist decided after all the voting that the new admin would be, well me AND Jaybird. So, there we go. 2 new Admins from WCC! :D

Okay, everybody, this site is getting hectic, or at least my work is. Some of the Warriors are rising in rank fast, so we're going to need Deputies and Leaders soon. I refuse to do that unless-or until-there are 2 Admins working on it.
Graystream's been gone a while, like Mistpelt and Firelight, so I think it's time to pick a new Admin to help me work and make decisions.

So everybody on this site MUST vote because this will impact the whole site. And in the loss of one Moderator, seeing as how Bluesky and Jaybird are both one, I will appoint another Moderator and I already have...

Due to less members and even less of them active in ShadowClan and WindClan, we are closing RiverClan and ThunderClan for new members until further notice.
Sorry for the inconvenience to those new members who wanted to be in those Clans, but ShadowClan and WindClan are great, too!

I'm thinking about closing RiverClan to new members for the time being. It will be good and allow more members to go into the other clans. We now have over 30 cats and most of them are active. What do you think guys?

I'm sorry that I was unable to go on for over a weeks time. There were some issues in my household that were keeping me away from the site. The biggest of which was that my father broke a couple of his ribs and developed namonia so I have been pretty busy helping around the house and doing extra things to keep things together. On the bright side, he's feeling a lot better now so I should be able to be active again.

Now. When this school year ends for me I will be able to go on practically everyday, (Sometimes more then once) so for that information I'll list the date in which my school...

Alright, I would just like to say a couple of things.

I'm not quite sure if Mistpelt will be away for a while again, but I can't take any chances with it, so I know I need to go on the site far more often. I really hope she'll stay, it's a lot nicer when she's on the site.

The forums Announcements, Events, and Member Announcements are now in a blog format. This change was made so these specific forums have a cleaner look, with easier-to-access comments. This will reduce excessive scrolling when looking through them, and the announcements have always—sorta—had a blog-like feel.

I've missed this site so much...

Before I can get started with the site matter I'll give you all the explaination you all deserve. Somehow, I stopped going on the internet, I completly lost track of time, things in my life were a little more demanding and a little more pressuring and I somehow just wasn't able to go on. I know this is no excuse and I give my deapest apologies to all of you, I'm sorry, but I can say this in encouragement: I will make things right again, and I promise I will never take such an unexpected absence like that again without a proper notification first.

I have add a whole new batch of cat smilies to the site! With 93 in all, I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun with them! If you don't know how to find them, just look where the smilies always are, but click the box and click "Cat Smilies". Hope you guys like 'em!

I've put up a new set of Warriors themed buttons for the site! I'd really like to have some feedback on these, since I've never done pictures like this before. Also, for those with smaller screens, should the navigation bar be forced to stay togeather like that on the top, or should the last couple be pushed down so you can see the background more? Okay, I know everyone has been curious to know where Mistpelt is, when she will get back, why she isn't on, etc. But I don't know why she hasn't been on in so long so I'm not really able to answer these questions. I know I have been far less active lately, due to my life being much more busy then it used to be, and now I've only been able to fit time in to go on this site over the weekends. I'll try to go on more often and try to become more active to help the site, especially in Mistpelt's absence.

I would like to start planning on having a Medicine Cat Gathering very soon, but first I need to make sure that all four MC's from each Clan would be able to all go on and post on the day of this event. Tuesday, September 22 is the first day of Leaf-fall. The leaves will start to fall and the weather will start to get colder. Prey will start to run scarcer as it prepares for the oncoming Leaf-bare. These changes will effect our role-playing. Have fun! :D

In one topic, I went running after a water vole only to realize, what the heck's a water vole?? So, I googled it, and it looks a lot like a beaver/mouse thing. When we have the Gathering tomorrow, this may get a little out of control with 12 members in the same topic, so please follow this so we can make this Gathering as simple as possible. I'll probably be oocing during it to let people know when to come in and such. We'll have each Clan enter the clearing in turn, so conversations don't get jumbled. The representative will lead the other two into the clearing. When one Clan is settled and the rep. gives the okay for the next Clan to come in, then they can do so. The Clans can come in whatever order, as long as it follows this. Once each Clan is there,...

In the "Preferences" section of everyone's profile, it took some time but, I have changed everyone's status for getting emails when you get a reply in a topic and when you get a pm to "no", unless already like that. I know those emails can get annoying and not everyone takes the time to read that page. So, I did the change for you. If you want to get the emails, then feel free to change it back the way you had it.

Above is the link to the new rules. They're for roleplaying. I've noticed some confusion lately, and added this to help. They're more like guidelines, really, and there's not a harsh punishment for not following them. But, you should follow them. You should. If you read it and only saw six rules, check back, I've added a very important seventh rule. And read them, please.

I have just added 27 Warriors avatars to the site's avatar gallery! :D Now, for those members who use a site provided avatar, they now have the option of choosing a cool new Warriors one! I have one last thing to point out. On the site, I noticed that people have been very buddyish to each other while roleplaying. Roleplaying is in the forest territory. While roleplaying, you should challenge everyone who tresspasses or is close to your border. You need to ACT YOUR RANK. No matter how long you've been it, apprentices never know when they're gonna be warriors, and kit's probably don't realize it unless they ask. I'm re-opening up RiverClan and WindClan. Truthfully, we still need more active ShadowClan members, but I feel blocking acess to the three other Clans would prove to be unfair to new users, as they would basically have no choice in a Clan. So, to all new members, all Clans are open, but feel free to take a peak into ShadowClan. :P Also, if ShadowClan doesn't have a lot of members, I will inpliment a stratagy I have in mind. I deleted some inactive users, minusing the RiverClan total by two and WindClan by one. I'm pretty positive they didn't want the accounts anymore, and they haven't been active since last year. I updated the account rules, so check those out [link]. So, if you see any topics with a user that says that their a guest, you'll understand why.

Please refrain from fighting each other untill I've made an example fight with the help of Graystream, and so we can also test to be sure if the system works, because you can never be 100% sure.
