First, the suggestion was brought up that the passive bonuses for WindClan territory's Tunnels and Flower Field should be switched. Originally the Tunnels had a +2 Clan Move bonus, and the Flower Field had a +2 Hunting bonus. After deliberation by staff, it was agreed that this change made sense both IC and OOC, and so the change has been made. In February 2019, former-Staff member and helpful disgruntled Uncle Pikachu created a very helpful survey for the site's members to fill out to help determine the activity levels of the Higher Ranks. The results allowed Staff to ensure that active and qualified users were filling the higher ranks which ultimately shape the WCC roleplay experience. We were very interested in the results, and we decided to implement this for the foreseeable future in April 2019.

Staff will be posting this anonymous Higher Ranks survey once every quarter (January/April/July/October).

So the poll here showed recent interest in renewing the board with a new layout. I also noticed some concerns over the potential of losing the ‘feel’ to wcc. I understand this concern. WCC is a wonderful community, full of talent and great people.

This is largely why I feel the site could use the change. Right now, things are fairly ‘classic’ and while that’s certainly not too bad, the books have moved on, the community is large and friendly, and staff has...

Hello! We start this new month with a few changes staff has been talking and now, they are a reality!

Since the soft-reboot, we have noticed some issues with the Medicine Cats' requirements. With fewer cats on each clan, it has become harder, not to say impossible, for them to rank up due to an excessive number of requirements that do not encourage Medicine Cats' roleplayers to fulfil. We have implemented the new changes in clan moves in our Battle System. The summary of these changes are:

Thunderclan
-TC's Lightning Strike has been replaced with Lightning Reflexes, a dodge that can be used anywhere and has a chance to avoid pin/stun effects.
-Tree Spring is now only usable on Thunderclan and Skyclan territories

As most saw in our Discord server, we faced chaos and division among former admins / staff / rpers and rpers. This caused confusion due to lack of information on what exactly happened to cause all this. Before everything, I wasn't personally there when it happened and I just recollected the story hearing the version of different people. With that being said, and after some deliberation, I think you all deserve to know what happened and the consequences of this. We will offer you full transparency in the people involved, so it's fair for both parties in the issue.
