Firefly was out on a little hunting patrol with her daughter, Mistedpaw, when they came upon the thunderpath.

Ebonyroot padded around the border, clumps of horsetail in her jaws. She paused when she smelled a familiar scent over the sharp tang of the Thunderpath.

Firefly sat down to rest while explaining to Mistedpaw what the hard black stuff was, and the shiny monsters that walked on it. She paused when she smelled a familiar scent mixed in with the stench of the thunderpath.

Ebonyroot frowned, setting down her herbs and going to investigate. She slid out of the reeds and came on the edge of the Thunderpath. It was then she caught a flash of orange pelt.
'Firefly.' she thought, flattening her ears.

(xD imma make this go fast.)

I remember this scent.. Firefly stood and paced forward until she stood on the edge of the Thunderpath. "Ebonypaw?"

Deadfrost bounded out of the bushes after his mate and kit. "Bet you didn't see me?" he purred, halting next to Mistedpaw. "Training going good--" He smelled the scent. Ebonyroot.

Ebonyroot stepped up in sight. "Mistedkit?" she called, "Is that you?"

Mistedpaw looked back questioningly. "it\'s Mistedpaw, and who are you?"

"Mistedpaw." She repeated to herself, wondering whether or not to dare to cross onto ThunderClan land for a closer look.

Leopardheart padded out of a clump of ferns. "Shadowclan?"

IC: Mistedpaw dipped her head, but wasn't sure she should talk to a ShadowClan cat. But, this also brought up a strange question. "Why don't I look like my father? Why doesn't any of my siblings besides Silverkit not look like him?"
