Rowanheart is a larger-than-average Somali tom with deep red fur and darker markings running from his forehead all the way down his spine to his tailtip. He has a lighter patch of fur on his chin and throat, and his eyes are a vibrant amber. His left ear has a nick in it from a previous battle.

Personality:
Rowanheart is charismatic and popular, if not a little bit arrogant. He's intelligent and handsome and he knows it, but he tries to not come across like he's better than everyone else. He can be flirtatious, carefree, and unbothered, but recognizes when it's time for work instead of play. Rowanheart hates being idle, preferring to be in the thick of things rather than stand by and let it happen. He is outspoken about his beliefs regardless of if they're considered proper or not. He is not easily swayed in his personal beliefs, but when it comes to relationships and engagements with other cats, he often acts on a whim.

Nettleweaver and his sibling Crabpaw were born not long after ShadowClan returned to the forest from the lake territories. During his kithood, Nettleweaver was quick to befriend anyone and everyone no matter their age with his loud personality and boisterous attitude. He enjoyed the attention and he liked being so involved with his clanmates. Though such antics had already earned him a bad reputation among the high ranks . His antics carried over when he gained the rank of apprentice and was given Swiftheart as his mentor, even causing a scene in his own ceremony due to his excitement. Swiftheart had been a friend of Nettleweaver since early on and he could not wait to train with her. Despite her best efforts, Nettleweaver never got a complete handle on his childish tendencies, which led to several incidents, including his [urll=https://warriorclancats.forumotion.com/t54267-lilypaw-s-warrior-ceremony] infamous[/url], and more often than not one sided, beef with Lilyvalley and her supporters. Among her supporters was his mentor, the fact Swiftheart chose her sister over her apprentice created a permenant rift between the two. His curiosity and desire to be involved in all the affairs of the forest also worked in his favour during this time, becoming the first cat outside of ThunderClan to learn about Gekala. It made him smart and intuitive, often coming up with inventive strategies to hunt and fight better.

Perhaps it was his willingness to learn that he became a warrior in spite of the fact it was obvious he wasn’t going to grow out of all his kithood quirks. The prospect of being a warrior excited Nettleweaver, perhaps he finally had a chance to prove himself to those who thought him useless for having a personality. Unfortunately, the stars seemed to take issue with him too, not long after his ceremony all of his closest friends and brother mysteriously disappeared without a trace. He was assigned an apprentice who too, despite his best efforts, did not survive to warriorhood. It was low blow after low blow, and it seemed Leopardstar really did not care for him. During clan meetings he regularly put forward ideas and solutions in attempts to prove his worth. Again, these were often turned down for various reasons, but they only fuelled his dislike for ShadowClan leadership.

Recently, he’s learnt that to get what his heart desires (respect and secrets) he’s going to have to be the bigger cat. Lilyvalley and Leopardstar can’t argue with the facts that he does all his duties and is a mostly upstanding warrior. He may have a multitude of friends across the border, but he’s careful in his blabberings and what he does learn from them he wishes to use to both his, and by extension, ShadowClan’s benefit.

Nettleweaver is on the outside an oversized apprentice. He’s immature and energetic, with a penchant for gossip. He likes to talk and he likes to make friends anywhere he can. Gatherings are his most favourite occasions and he still looks forward to them like it’s his first time. If it weren’t for the fact he is rather skilled at both hunting and combat, he’d fit right in with the rest of the apprentices. While Nettleweaver is all those things, the truth is he’s far from stupid. Being so childish often leads to his brains being overlooked, and the white tom deemed merely a pain in the behind. He has his goals and aspirations, mainly to acquire as many secrets as possible. He’s willing to do just about anything to get them, and even more to keep them and his friendships. His almost all consuming hunt for secrets and gossip has given him a distaste for borders and cats that follow the code to a straight edge. He’s easy going and changeable. When he’s not prone to one of his energy bursts his speech and actions are calculated towards his pursuit of friendship. It can’t be overstated how much he cares for his friends, his loyalty is eternal once earned and there is nothing that could sever these bonds. He feels his friend’s pain deeply and personally, taking care of his friends no matter the cost is the only thing he’d ever prioritise above his love of secrets.
