The tall striped tom jumped up onto the Tall Rock, following his usual routine of getting settled on the rock for a meeting. Green eyes scanned over the camp, checking in on his. Lan from his perch. Once he was satisfied he called out, "Let all cats old enough to run the moor gather beneath Tall Rock for a clan meeting["
The moonstone had been an... experience. Sootstorm gave Laurelpaw a few answers to questions she wanted answers to - and honestly, it felt... freeing getting it off of her chest. She didn't realize how much the thought of being in love with Falconpaw and Leopardwind had been weighing over her, how the exclusivity of it all made her feel anxious that one day, she'd have to choose. Now, she knew she'd never have to - that she could love them both regardless.
Looking up at the Tallrock, she stepped forward until she was at the front row. It must have been her warrior ceremony. Stars, she was so excited. Moons of training, trying to catch up to Leopardwind, and now she was becoming a warrior alongside him - most likely, at least. There was a small chance she wasn't the focus of this meeting, but she wasn't aware of any other apprentices who were ready to be warriors, so if there wasn't any other reason it had to be her.

Hearing the leader's call, Cloudjumper trotted toward the highrock, curiosity gleaming in her light green eyes. A ceremony, maybe? Or some other news - hopefully nothing bad. The young warrior found a spot to sit next to Leopardwind, tail curling over her paws. "Bets on a ceremony, or something else?" She mewed quietly. They'd find out soon enough, she knew.
Leopardwind had a feeling today would be rather special. As Tigerstar called the Clan together, the black tom was already halfway across the clearing, settling down gracefully with his tail wrapped around his paws. Father seemed far too satisfied for this to be about anything grave or remotely bad; on the contrary, the tabby seemed almost happy to be holding this Clan meeting.
The black tom flicked an ear in greeting as Cloudjumper settled down beside him. He noted the way in which the calico sat, also with her tail curled gracefully around her paws. As warriors were expected to sit, but sadly some chose not to observe. "Most likely a ceremony," He murmured in agreement, careful to keep his voice low so as to not disturb the atmosphere of the ceremony.
Tigerstar watched the crowd gather below him at his words. It was a feeling that he should have gotten used to but he never would. To have many cats place importance on what he had to say was interesting to say the least. "Today we are gathered to name a warrior, marking this evening as a special one. Laurelpaw please come forward."
The tall striped tom shifted slightly as he waited for the mentioned apprentice to come forward. Once she reached the designated spot the leader continued. "I, Tigerstar, leader of Windclan call upon our warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand your ways, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn. Laurelpaw, do you promise to uphold the code defend and honor Windclan even at the cost of your life?"
Laurelpaw spotted Leopardwind talking with Cloudjumper, giving them a side-eye. They seemed to be happy in their conversation together, which shouldn't have bothered Laurelpaw as much as it did.
Tigerstar's voice soon pulled her away from her thoughts, with Laurelpaw smiling at him. Oh well. They could get to see her become a warrior now. She'd been preparing for this her whole life, and she wasn't going to stop trying once she reached warriorhood. "I do," she said, smiling at Tigerstar. She was going to be a warrior.

Tigerstar nodded, grateful that she had given her answer. "Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. Laurelpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Laurelriver. Windclan honors your energy and passion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Windclan."
The striped tom jumped down off of Tallrock approaching his former apprentice with a smile. He rested his head on top of hers, finishing up the ceremony fully. "Congratulations." He told her before he stepped back to let others welcome the newest warrior.

"Laurelriver! Laurelriver!" So it was his friend's warrior ceremony today. Leopardwind had half a mind not to chant the new name, but out of respect to his leader and his newly-named friend he did. Not before he shot Cloudjumper a half-disgusted look, however. Why would Tigerstar choose river as a suffix for any respectable warrior? After RiverClan, the Clan that bordered them and their enemy? This had to be a mistake, or Tigerstar had overlooked that major detail when picking a name for Laurelriver. Even thinking the name made his mouth turn sour. Would his friend mind it? The black tom made his way swiftly to the calico's side, bumping her shoulder fondly as he purred his congratulations. He observed her face, trying to detect any signs of displeasure with her name. Would she request a name change? He knew he would, if he had been named Leopardriver, or worse still, Leopardshadow.
Moonpaw made her way languidly towards the gathering cats, Tigerstar's call still lingering in her ears. She eyes Cloudjumper and Leopardwind, huddled close together in conversation, then sat off to the side, her green eyes half-lidded and tired. She dozed through the bulk of the meeting, but as Laurelpaw's voice rang clearly through the camp, Moonpaw tuned in, suddenly at attention. She and Laurelpaw weren't particularly close, but they were close enough...maybe enough to call each other friends. She was 'ought to be excited for her, then.
She hummed thoughtfully as Tigerstar announced her friend's warrior name and chimed in with the rest of the clan's chorus to call Laurelriver's new name. Once the cheering died down, though, Moonpaw got up and slid through the crowd to the newly named warrior's side with a sleepy smile on her face. "congrats, friend." She meowed, a touch awkward as she bumped her head against Laurelriver's. Leopardwind hardly seemed impressed and, with a sideways glare, Moonpaw offered a grin. "its'a real pretty name. it suits ya."

Laurelriver, what a beautiful name. Kestrelchirp called out the name with his clan, a sense of pride washing over him. An apprentice of his made it to warriorhood, and now it was time to focus his full attention on Gorsepaw. The tom waited on the outskirts of the crowd gathering around the new warrior, hoping to catch her eye and send his approval through a glance so she could celebrate with her friends.
