Tigerstar never expected this. Never expected nine of them, his poor mate... Of course he helped where he could along side his leader duties, thankful to Rapidfire for helping him with tasks he couldn't get to because of his new kits. So now here he was, watching his kits for his mate while she took a break. Well it was more like feeling his kits because they all decided to make him their personal hill. Not that he could complain, but he couldn't quite tell how many were on him. He could feel one on his head, a few on his back, pretty sure one of them was some how clinging to his tail, he could feel sharp little needle claws in his leg. It hurt, but they were having fun. Besides a couple scratches were worth it if his kits were happy. He just wished Minkshadow was here to see her siblings, but it wasn't meant to be.

FALCONKIT
Gonna make a heartthrob out of me...
Brightripple was taking a break from them-- fair enough, Falconkit figured. He and all his siblings were more than just a pawful. But, both fortunately and not, they weren’t left entirely to their own devices. Tigerstar was a frequent visitor when he wasn’t otherwise occupied, and he was their guardian for the time being. Or… less of a guardian, and more of an overgrown toy. Even WindClan’s leader was no match for the force of nine eager, squirming kits. Falconkit had joined in, of course, as he’d climbed up high enough to splay his forelegs around either side of Tigerstar’s head, keeping his body aloft where his hind legs had trouble finding purchase against Tigerstar’s neck. Snickering, he pawed at one of Tigerstar’s ears and asked, ”Tired of us yet, Dad?”

FOXKIT "there's nothing that i'd take back" they/he - windclan kit
If his siblings had been doing anything less fun, Foxkit might not have joined in. But papa wasn't always around, and the opportunity to climb the Clan leader like he was some mere boulder was simply too good to pass up. "Hold still!" Foxkit hissed, their paws scrabbling for purchase on the tom's back. An exasperated huff escaped their maw as they lost their footing once again. They clung on for dear life, their little thorny claws digging into Tigerstar's dense belly fur as they held on tight. The ground seemed so far away! "AHHH!" A loud noise, half-scream and half-squeak, erupted from the little kit as they looked down. He lost purchase and went tumbling toward the ground, falling head over paws toward the dirt.
"Ow." The air was knocked out of them as they landed. No matter - they were a kit on a mission, and one little fall wasn't going to stop them. Foxkit stood up, shaking out his ginger pelt and narrowing his eyes as he planned his attack. There. Nobody had claimed that spot yet. Giggling deviously, the big-eared kit straightened up and jumped, sinking his claws in to Tigerstar's soft belly fur. Perfect! They dug in tight and held on, laughing ecstatically all the while. "Hey, pops! Try to find me!"

Quickkit
Windclan • Kit • ♀ • 10 [hp] | 30 [sp] • #B0C4DE
"Yeah! Are ya tired yet? We can do this all day!" chirped Quickkit as she comically hung on to her father's tail as if she were riding a snake. The little she-kit had been excited when their father decided to take them all out of the nursery for the day while Brightripple took some time for herself. Their poor mother, bless her heart, desperately needed time from the nine little whirlwinds that were the kits. Even with Tigerstar's occasional help, looking after them was never an easy task.
Quickkit's attention was snagged by Foxkit's tumble. "Oop." she giggled to herself. But Foxkit was persistent in riding with the rest of them and had luckily found a nice space on Tigerstar's belly. It looked cozy, and Quickkit lamented at the missed opportunity. However, that was short-lived when her dad's tail gave a wiggle, which had her squealing with joy. "Yahoo!" This was the most exciting spot, though she had to admit that Falconkit had claimed the coolest spot.
"Falconkit! How's the view from up there?" she called out with a grin.

Thistlekit
I once was a man with dignity and grace
Thistlekit was quiet as he rode on Tigerstar's back, stubbornly clinging to the idea that this was not play. It just so happened to be an effective manner of travel that Tigerstar was willing to partake in. Thistlekit was fighting hard to keep a straight face during all of this.
Brightripple, poor Brightripple, had needed a break from them. Moreso, she needed a break from his littermates. Alas, though, he did get included in those numbers. He found that he got roped into a lot of things. No matter, it was just as well that they got to spend some time with their father. And his siblings seemed to be enjoying themselves.
When Foxkit fell off, even Thistlekit laughed, a smile splitting his face. Okay then, maybe he was having fun.
Suddenly, though, Thistlekit, too, fell, and with a gasp, he clung from Tigerstar's neck, back legs dangling below him.
This was fine. This was totally fine. "Uhh, help? Please?"
Now I'm slippin' through the cracks of your cold embrace

Just because Quickkit had latched herself to their dad’s tail didn’t mean she got to have all the fun with the fluffy appendage. Viperkit had come up with her own game. As the leader’s tail swished from side to side the kitten jumped over it, giggling. The higher the leap of faith became, the more she laughed, winding herself up into a golden bundle of ceaseless energy. Her dad’s tail gave an unexpected snap, causing Quickkit to shout out her glee and Viperkit to take an unexpected tumble. The she-kit’s brow creased as she became extremely cross. ”Why’d you go and do that, dad?” she snapped, kicking a pawful of dirt in his direction.
Though, her anger was short lived, along with her interest in his tail, quickly moving on to the next best thing. Viperkit launched herself onto Tigerstar’s foreleg, scrambling up it onto his back. Atop his back, she dug her ring claws in harder for purchase, while her wiry tail was held pin straight for balance. Once accustomed to the bouncing she stalked forward, making a wobbly beeline towards Falconkit. Foxkit and Thistlekit lost their balance and she snickered, couldn’t they cling on better? No matter she had mastered the art of balance, and was coming for the top spot! “My turn!” mewed Viperkit “I need to get used to being up high seeing as I’ll be the next leader of WindClan!”

Dark green eyes peered up from beneath Tigerstar's chest, her body pressed up against his swirling red fur. "You're so cool, Papa. Didja know that?" Her voice squeaked up at him a smile from little ear to little ear, trying her best to get his attention away from her screaming and squealing siblings. He was WindClan's leader! That was the coolest of the cool and Moosekit needed him to know that. She needed to make sure they all knew it. And when Viperkit became the next leader? She would tell her she was cool, too.
She watched her siblings tumble around her Papa with a growing itch to leap out at one of their tails. Quickkit, Foxkit, Thistlekit, and Falconkit all looked like they were having so much fun... Oh, forget it! There would be plenty of time to remind her Papa how cool he was later! A tiny red tail dangled tantalizingly from Tigerstar's head where her brother, Falconkit, batted the swirling red ears of the older tom. Green eyes watched it flick back and forth until she just couldn't contain herself any longer. Little brown paws swung out and batted it as she stood as tall as her lanky legs could get her, teeth snapping shut around the tip of the furry tail that belonged to her brother. "Let me up, too! I wanna be Moosestar!" She sqealed around the tuft of fur, a small paw accidentally poked her father in the eye as she attempted to climb up the hard way.

Watching her siblings lazily from her father's back, Redkit laid horizontally, draped over Tigerstar near his tail. It was fun to watch everyone squirm to get to the top of the mountain, but they'd all fall eventually. It was all just a waiting game. Truly, it felt like a wonder Brightripple was able to deal with them all at once. Most of her siblings were high-energy balls of fluff, whereas at least she was blissfully quiet. She had been one of the first to climb atop her father, quickly grabbing her prime spot to lay down. It wasn't as if anyone else wanted it, they were focused on the biggest prize.
She, however, was content with the tail that she could bat at, right in front of her. Viperkit jumped over it with each turn and lash, until she didn't, and a pawful of dirt was scattering itself against Redkit's face. "Hey! Watch it!" Redkit mewed, her mouth curling into a frown.
Shaking the dirt from her fur, the deep-red kit watched as Viperkit made her way up Tigerstar, wobbling toward the top. She'll fall next, and take Falconkit with her I'd bet. Her opportunity was at hand if only the cards would fall correctly. It wasn't as if her already fallen siblings could crawl back up in time to stop her... she hoped. Turning herself, Redkit was flat against her father's back, ready for the opportunity to take the winning spot. She'd be Redstar, and nobody would dispute her.

Gold is in our blood
His littermates sure were annoying, Leopardkit noted to himself as he sat perched on his father's shoulder, seemingly the only that hadn't fallen off yet or was busy trying to scramble to their poor father's head. How they had the nerve to act disruptive to their leader of all cats was beyond him, and even worse it was taking place right in the middle of camp. And did they really have to climb, of all things? They sounded like dirty SkyClan, clinging to tree branches like squirrels. Why would anyone want to have anything in common with SkyClan, when they could be WindClan? Tigerstar must be embarrassed by his kits so publically acting like fools. The lanky black tom looked over at Viperkit, the starter of this fight to the top of father's head, with an exasperated and irritated expression, not-so-kindly mewing, "The top of father's head isn't exactly high enough to be the height a leader's view, nor will father feel the urge to make you leader when you trample all over his ears." His gaze softened as he added in an attempt to get his siblings off Tigerstar's head before one of them blinded him, "Why don't you all try racing to the fresh-kill pile? That'd be proof that you're really a WindClan warrior-- and the fastest might even be leader." Poor Mother, no wonder she had needed a break from them.
