Dog 2
The dog yelped and staggered away, his vision going hazy and the world bucking beneath his feet. Buckets of drool were flung every which way as he shook his head, trying to rid himself of the cats that had attacked him. Now he was furious. His jaws shot out toward the first cat that he saw and crushed him in his jaws.
Dog 2 is going straight for Blazepaw. Success! By the RPers request, Blazepaw is dead after the first successful strike.
Falconmoon lunged forward, seeking to deepen the wounds that were already on the dog from his clanmates.

Robinmist
You need a little bit of insanity
Robinmist cowered by her den as the Clan descended upon the dogs. Once upon a time, she might have been right in the middle of the fight. But those were days long past. Her body had worn down with time and age, and she simply could no longer handle the tasks being a warrior had required. That was why she had retired.
And now she could only pray these dogs in their camp didn't notice the frail old woman as she watched on with wide eyes. Her paws itched to help her Clanmates, she really did want to. But she also knew that she simply couldn't fight the way she used to. She would only serve to hold her Clan back.
But when she saw Blazepaw's body hit the ground, she found that she no longer cared.
Blazepaw, who came into her den every day since he was a kit just so she wouldn't have to be alone.
Blazepaw, who listened to every one of her stories, nothing but a smile on his face as he hung on to every word.
Blazepaw, who might just have had the kindest heart in the whole Clan.
Tears filled Robinmist's vision as she felt her paws moving on their own accord, propelling her towards the beast that had slain Blazepaw.
Firepaw staggered briefly as a familiar cinnamon tom bumbled against his flank and whirled around, eyes wide with concern. Had Blazepaw been bitten? Was he hurt? Why was he stumbling around like that? However, upon a quick inspection, he realized that there wasn't anything wrong - poor Blazepaw was just frightened. He opened his jaws to speak, intense expression softening slightly when movement to the side caught his eye. He didn't get a chance to respond before Blazepaw shoved him out of the way - just barely saving him from the dog's fangs.
How embarrassing! He was supposed to be the one saving Blazepaw! Not the other way around. The breath wheezed in Firepaw's lungs and he struggled to find his paws, ribs aching from where his friend had pushed him. Then, the dog was moving again, lunging. Blazepaw threw himself at the dog, claws and teeth flashing. "Wait a second! Blazepaw!" His eyes flashed with horror as the dog shook him off and, faster than he could even comprehend, the beast was upon Blazepaw. Jaws snapped shut around his friend with a sickening crunch and Firepaw shrieked as Blazepaw's body fell eerily still. "NO! NO NO NO NO! BLAZEPAW!"
The pain in his side forgotten, Firepaw dodged Robinmist as she forced the dog away from Blazepaw's prone body and skidded across the ground to his friend's side. "Blazepaw! You're okay! It's okay!" He stared at the tabby tom, stricken with horror and pressed his paws to his best friend's bloodied injuries. "You'll be alright, just keep breathing!" However, no matter how hard he pressed, the blood wouldn't stop coming - seeping from Blazepaw's wounds and bubbling around his paws, turning his fur dark and wet. This was going all wrong! He and Blazepaw were supposed hunt and fight alongside each other! They were supposed to be warriors together and, fate willing, lead SkyClan alongside one another!
However, Blazepaw didn't move. He was still except for the breeze that ruffled his now unkempt fur. "PLEASE!" He yowled, heart wrenching painfully. When Sunfire had gone missing, likely at the jaws of these very dogs, Firepaw thought it was cruel not to have a body to bury. Not to have been there for his father. But now...now that his friend's cold, lifeless body was at his paws...he couldn't bear the sight of it. It was too real. "Don't go, please don't go Blazepaw! I still need you! We were supposed to take care of SkyClan together! I'll even let you be the leader, just don't go!" But nothing he said was any use. Blazepaw was still dead.
Tears streaked down Firepaw's cheeks as he choked back sobs, his body trembling. Everything was so loud, but through the cacophony, the baying of a dog reached Firepaw's ears. He lifted his head slowly, eyes wet, and turned to stare at the dog that still had Blazepaw's blood dripping from its teeth. He could barely think, barely feel anything. Shaking, the tortoiseshell tom got to his paws and positioned himself protectively in front of Blazepaw. Robinmist moved back, her own attack having missed, and Firepaw shot forward, not missing a beat.
But he fell short, claws swiping through empty air. He couldn't think straight. Not with his best friend's corpse lying cold a few tail-lengths away. Limbs shaking, Firepaw retreated to Blazepaw's side and crouched over the dead tom, unwilling to let the dog lay another claw on him. He may not be much use, but he would defend what was left of Blazepaw with his life.
(Firepaw attacked Dog 2 and missed)

BLAZEPAWi can't be who you need me to be he/they - skyclan app. - 9 moons
It all happened so fast.
In the blink of an eye, Blazepaw was on the ground, his lungs gasping for air as he tried to gather his strength and stand back up. He needed to get back into the battle. Firepaw was in trouble... his Clan was in trouble. He needed to save them. But the hound was approaching fast, too fast, and Blazepaw couldn't stand up quick enough. That putrid breath was hot against his fur as the dog leaned down, its jaws wide as it snapped at him. His eyes widened. It was over, wasn't it? Certainty filled him even before the dog even made contact. So soon, too. It felt like just yesterday that he'd been named an apprentice - and now he'd never get his warrior name. He'd never hear his Clan chant for him as he was made a full warrior, or see Firepaw's ceremony, or take a mate... He'd never wake up beside Firepaw or spar with him again. As those powerful jaws grabbed him, his eyes found Robinmist. He'd never hear another one of her stories, either. A pang of sadness tugged at him. Not for his imminent death - but because he knew he'd be leaving Robinmist behind, too. He didn't want her to be lonely.
There were so many things he should've done.
Then... a sickening crunch. The dog had finally crushed him between its teeth. Pain, white and hot, exploded throughout the tom. The force of those jaws bore down on him, and he could feel his bones breaking under the canine's fangs, his flesh and muscles giving under the pressure much too easily. He could feel his tendons tearing and snapping under the thing's jaws. It was such a terrible pain that he thought he might black out. Then the beast dropped him. Did it know he was as good as dead? He wasn't... He wasn't dead yet. He could feel the pain ebbing, his consciousness fading, but adrenaline kept him alive for just a moment more. As the russet tom tried to gasp for air, he found he couldn't breathe; his ribs must have broken. He wasn't sure why he was still alive. He should have died on impact, surely. Maybe he had just long enough to say goodbye. Just until his lungs ran out. His fur was damp with what he was sure was blood- blood, and drool. The dog's stench would stay on him even to his grave. It was sad, really. His first real fight, and he hadn't even landed a hit. But he'd kept Firepaw safe. Even if it was just for another moment, he'd kept him safe.
StarClan spared him another shuddering breath. He needed to be quick. He was sure he didn't have long. The blood pooling beneath him was beginning to soak into his fur. As Blazepaw met Firepaw's gaze, he wondered if StarClan was really a lie, like the tom had told him so many moons ago. He... hoped it was real. He hoped he would see Firepaw again someday. I love him. Time was running out, and he had to tell him. "You're my best friend, Firepaw." He gasped, his eyes glimmering dimly with fear. He didn't regret a thing. His life had always been inferior to his Clanmates', in his mind. He was just scared he'd never get to see any of his loved ones again. But Firepaw was turning away now, hissing at the beast and lashing out. None of his blows landed. Blazepaw didn't have the breath to spare, but he just wanted to call out to his friend. To say - turn around, look at me, I have something to tell you, you mousebrain! Every fiber in his body wanted to push him to his paws and force his friend to look at him. But he was too weak.
As he watched Firepaw claw uselessly at the dog, his yowls filling the air, his heart sank. He could say it all he wanted - he could scream it until his throat fell out - but Firepaw would never hear him. He was too preoccupied in his grief. In his rage. Tears filled his amber eyes as he begged his best friend, silently, to turn around. To hear his final words. It'd been unsaid for so long - unrealized, really - and now it might never be heard. Look at me. Look at me. Please, Firepaw! Please! For StarClan's sake, just look at me!
And then he seemed to give up. The panic in his vision faded to love. He'd tell him someday. At least, he hoped he would. Please tell me I'll see you again.Maybe he could watch Firepaw's warrior ceremony from StarClan. He was running out of air, though. Death was catching up to him. His vision seemed to swim, slowly giving away to darkness. Firepaw's familiar form would be the last thing he'd ever see. It was so lovely to know you.He'd...never said it, had he? "I love you." Blazepaw finally admitted, his voice hoarse and raw. It got lost in the clamor, but he couldn't go until he said it aloud. As his friend crouched in front of him defensively, unable to hear him over the noise - or was he already gone, and he didn't know it? - his fear and doubt slipped away. Instead, his amber eyes glowed with affection - even as they seemed to glaze over. "I love you so much, Firepaw." Even if the words went unheard, he could rest easy knowing he would tell him someday.

The dog stumbled and thrashed with erratic movements, and Wolfstar growled a curse under her breath. It seemed like her clanmates couldn't touch the beast, but it had no problem going right for Blazepaw. The leader's heart leapt into her throat and she snarled, whirling on the dog. Blazepaw, so bright and confident... They would have more to mourn by the end of this if they didn't defeat these filthy mongrels quickly. Robinmist had joined the fight as well, and it was on the tip of the leader's tongue to tell the elder off, to tell her to stay in the den where it was safe... But nowhere in camp would be safe until the dogs were dealt with. Tears blurred her vision, and the dog's erratic movements made it difficult to actually land a blow.

Lighttail, still clinging to the dog’s flank, saw, heard, and felt the kill. The do’s muscles rippled against her as if destroyed Blazepaw. A younger Lighttail would’ve fainted at the sight, but the silver warrior held on, even as her stomach turned and nerve pain spread from her lightning scar through her whole body.
Lighttail leaned forward, trying to make a move for the dog’s neck, but found herself thrown to the ground, a terrible ringing in her ears.
Miss!

Falconmoon attempts to strike Dog 1 SUCCESS FINALLY
The dog shook cat after cat off of his pelt, drool pouring out of his mouth at an alarming rate. Something was in his chest... a rabbit? It felt like a rabbit. He snapped wildly, aimlessly at nothing. Why wouldn't the rabbit stop? Why did his stomach hurt? Why couldn't he take a full breath??
The dog staggered sideways, the poison beginning to spread faster through his body from the adrenaline. The dog hurled it's last meal onto the ground, the injuries it was receiving taking the least amount of notice. They were just cats after all. They could only do so much...
Finally the rabbit in his ribs stopped running. The dog turned his attention back to the cats... staggered... collapsed to the ground. When did the moon go dark? When did the stars fall from the sky? The dog flopped over onto his side, pain wracking his body. He shivered as if he were cold, took in one deep breath, then his body went still as he exhaled.
One of the dogs that had taken so many lives from Skyclan succumbed to the poisoned meat and finally breathed his last.

- Ospreypaw -
Ospreypaw jolted awake, heart pounding. Another nightmare. But this time the howling that had haunted her dreams didn’t stop when she opened her eyes. Staggering out of the apprentice den, she stared in terror at the chaos filling the camp. The dogs had broken in while they were sleeping–the cowards–and the chaos filling the camp was so much like that other dark, snowy night. Ospreypaw stumbled, her heart seizing in her chest. No no no- not again!! The words didn’t even escape her throat, she was already struggling for breath as pure terror lit every nerve and locked her paws in place. She was a tiny kit again, frozen in fear as monsters attacked her home by the lake.
Her clanmates couldn’t seem to land a hit, the beasts shaking them off as easily as flies. Numbly, she registered the pool of blood surrounding Blazepaw’s body. Another cat to add to the list with her littermates, Honeydew, and so many others Ospreypaw barely had the chance to know. Had Starclan themselves sent the dogs to wipe out her clan?
The apprentice stumbled forward, trying to shake off her horror. It didn’t matter if they had no chance of winning. No way, not in all the territories, would she let her clan be overrun by the beasts that had already taken so much. Even if Starclan had abandoned them, she would not. This time Skyclan would fight for their home. With a yowl she rushed to Falconmoon’s side to join the fight, claws extended to slash towards the dog he was fighting. There was no chance to reach it though, as the other dog teetered, falling slow and heavy like a tree crashing to the forest floor. She lunged around its twitching limbs, just barely avoiding the last convulsions of the dying beast.
