"Today's challenge is special, 'kay?~" Muse chirped. "'Cause this time, I want everyone to come at me with everything you've got! You gotta practice on a moving target, but it'd be dangerous to bring one of those in here. It won't really have the same effect on me, but I know my own skills, so I'll be able to tell if you got it right or not!~"
She was decently confident that the ShadowClan cats understood the idea, by now. Several of them had even learned everything they had to teach by this point. And she could feel the weather changing, see Cherish's kits getting a little older with every day that passed in the forest; they wouldn't be lingering much longer.
But the time for farewells was in the future, even if that day was growing closer; and for now she looked at the cats she'd come to consider friends with her usual smile.
"Let's go, let's go!~"

Sunflare needed more practice with the move. In a flash of cinnamon, the tom leaped and grabbed at Muse’s legs. He’d be glad to see her and her lot go, but their skill had proved invaluable.
Let me know if I’m supposed to post stats. Muse’s stats aren’t listed so I’m not sure.

Badgermask sat in the shadows, watching with mild interest as Muse called out to those learning from her to perform the task on her. Her ears twitched - the weight still feeling slightly off from the one that had been torn in her fight with the rogue. She had fallen behind in her training of learning the move for fighting the predator and as she watched Sunflare leap at Muse... She ran her tongue over her muzzle - feeling the scar that had formed from where her chin had been torn open. It had finally fully healed... So she pushed herself to her paws as she approached, keeping her pawsteps light and quiet as she waited for another opening for her to try her paw at it - her green eyes focused on finding the perfect weak point of Muse's leg to strike.

She remained in his memory simply as the most plaintive and poignant of a line of ghosts
Amongst the group of battle-scarred warriors trotted a smaller she-cat. The small black ball of fluff made her way forward, ears pricked to listen to whatever Muse was saying. Ankle biting... the only move she seemed even decent at from the two the guests had tried teaching her. She scrambled forward, wondering where her mentor was. Maybe Orchidspark would praise her for getting a move right... especially since all she had done recently was fail. Juniperpaw snuck past Sunflare to lunge at the she-cat's ankle, small teeth clamping around her ankle before she scrambled back, out of range of Muse.

Rookfire was the next to try, waiting for the right moment to strike. After Juniperpaw launched her attack, the black tuxedo snuck down to attack Muse's less gnawed at ankle. After jumping to position, he slowly moved his jaw into position, pressing his teeth gently on Muse's leg before quickly jumping away. "What do you think? I don't want to actually bite your ankle, of course, but I can do it fast for sure."

The large tom quietly waited his turn as others pounced on the nomad. Compared to having to nip a dead raccoon, a breathing target was preferable. He chose to step forward after Rookfire's admittedly very delicate attack, Boarpaw leaping forward to wrap his jaws around Muse's ankle. His teeth barely grazed the she-cat's skin, ghosting where they would have dug into if he had chosen to do damage. Then, just as quickly as he bit, he leaped backward to avoid any would-be retaliation. He had done the same as a younger apprentice, having successfully made a habit of dodging even when no attack was coming.

Cardinalkit had been watching the older cats from where she was crouched by the nursery with the slightest hint of annoyance. She would've been able to keep up with them, but the queens seemed to get so fussy whenever any of the kits strayed even two mouse-lengths away from the nursery. They were just going to have to get used to it. She wasn't fragile, she would be just fine. The kit huffed as she padded forward before sprinting toward Muse from the side when the older cats had each taken their turns. She nipped at the first open patch of her fur with her kit teeth before springing back to her own space.

"Good job!" Smokeykit purred at Cardinalkit, bounding up alongside her. He flicked his tail against her shoulder, proud of his sister. She'd shape up to be a fine warrior...if they ever became apprentices. It seemed like their ceremony was due any day now.
Smokeykit was determined to do things right this time. Ankle Biter wasn't hard. All he had to do was bite - and he was sure he could do that. It's what cats were built for, after all! The grey tom leapt forward, grabbing Muse's hindleg in his jaws and biting down with all the strength he had in his little kit fangs. It sent a rush of satisfaction through him. There was no delicacy or gentleness when he bit. Then he bounded back, following Boarpaw's lead.
Smokeykit is rolling...

Nightpaw glanced around the den, feeling entirely out of place. He might as well just get it over with. If these cats were so insistent ShadowClan learned their moves...well, fine. It would at least be helpful; evasion seemed to be the only way he was any use in battle.
He padded forward, looking hesitantly at Muse. Was she sure? He didn't want to hurt her. The molly had been so nice to them...even if the outsiders frankly frightened him. But he took a deep breath, padding slowly up to her and pretending to nip at her ankle.
Nightpaw is rolling...
