"Get off my back, old man!" Grub Jr yowled as she darted under a dumpster after the fattest looking black rat she had ever seen in her short life. Squealing came from under the green metal can, though it was hard to tell who was winning until a grime covered Grub Jr emerged with a rat the size of her head, neck craned up so it wouldn't drag on the ground as she proudly waddled over to her the masked tom who followed her here. "See? I can feed myself just fine. You can go away now; no one invited you."
Grub Jr successfully caught a rat! -2 SP.
Grub Jr 98/100 SP (-2) Yellow eyes rolled so far back into his skull that - for a moment - the mottled tom thought he had gone permanently blind. Not being invited was the invitation, curious to know what his daughter did when she wandered out of the camp. Unsurprisingly, it was boring. But he was too far out now to just turn back without any reward, plus her attitude made him not want to listen. Why should he take orders from a baby, anyway? He gave no verbal response, but his tongue did stick out in annoyance - no better than a child himself. His eyes narrowed as she stuck her right back out at him, a paw tentatively raising as though he were about to scuff her ears.
Instead, soon as his daughters brown speckled pelt turned he grabbed the rat, bounding away with her catch with no intent on keeping it as his own. But he relished in her pitiful cry. She would need to learn it was eat or die out here sooner or later. Disappearing over the fence that lined the alleyways, Grub Jr would find her catch in perfect condition resting at the Crew's stomping grounds for when she returned.

“Father being father?” meowed Louse, announcing his presence. The tom skulked along the fence, testing his balance, trying to feel like he was getting the hang of being as intimidating as the some of the cats he’d encountered. Not that he wanted to scare Jnr, he wanted to upset anyone they ran into. If the clans had the forest then this was Crew territory, which would mean enforcing that. Though, Louse would prefer not to get his paws dirty, and the intimidation act was a way to avoid doing just that. Amber eyes slid between the shadows the tall twoleg nests made, checking for any threats before jumping down to walk with his sister. “I think you can handle yourself just fine Jnr, cos’ I can too. I need a nibble.”
Louse’s ears perked, his attention caught by a tiny pattering sound. He couldn’t see it, or really smell it, but he could definitely hear it. His ears swivelled to-and-fro before settling on a direction to face, which he then headed in. Still he couldn’t see it, but from his many failures he’d learnt not to get hot and bothered over its. The prey would come to him if he waited. Patience was a virtue, was it not? As if on queue, the sun broke through the clouds, sending shadows retreating and a certain millipedes carapace to glint invitingly. Of course, with the sun reappearing his very bad veil of shadows had revealed him too and the arthropod scurried away.

"Left foot in the dark 'cause I'm sunnyside up!"
Fish T1 Rogue | Rogue | he/him
When Junior left, Fish was curious. He was always curious when his siblings disappeared, always wondering where they were headed, though he didn't always follow. Now was one of those times where he found himself more preoccupied with finishing his meal than accompanying. But then Grub got up, slinking after her, and even Louse followed the growing party out. It wasn't encouragement enough to get Fish to abandon his mouse, but when it was done, he got to his paws and followed along.
Just as he was approaching the fenceline, Grub came bounding over it, a fat rat clasped in his jaws. He disappeared in a flash, and Junior's yowl nearly broke his ears from the other side of the fence. She must have caught it herself and lost it just as fast. Fish felt a little bad for her, but he was sure she would catch another one. Bunching his muscles, he leapt up to follow Louse onto the fence--and promptly toppled off just as his paws connected with wood. He landed on the other side in a small heap and limbs, but, unharmed, he was quick to unravel himself and pop up again. "Yoo-hoo!" He chirped. "I'll get your rat back, sis."
While Louse concerned himself with pattering bugs, Fish followed his ears toward the sound of squeaking. Down a nearby alleyway, a pack of rats gnawed at a torn trashbag. Fish half-crouched, haunches wiggling before he darted forward, paws clumsily outstretched. Many of them scattered, though one rat got itself tangled in the contents of the bag. Fish didn't really feel like he earned the catch, but his paws closed around it, claws biting through its scruff regardless. "Ha!" Taking it gingerly between his teeth, he trotted back around the corner and lifted the rat proudly. "See?" He purred through fur. "Told ya!"
Fish attempted to catch a rat... attempt successful! -3 SP.
Asmodeus caught the sound of several other cats speaking, and in this place he might have paid no attention... but he knew those cats. They were among the first to greet him on his arrival here. This wasn't their territory though... He watched quietly from behind an old tire, noting that it only looked like they were hunting for food, not trying to cause issues. The last meeting hadn't gone well, ending with Asmodeus having to back out and leave the area. Perhaps he'd give them another chance... but if they got lippy again he'd avoid them forever. Or maybe he'd start picking them off.... who knew?
A bird landed just in front of the tire, appearing to be desperate to grab a grub on the ground and hoped the group of cats wouldn't notice it. Asmodeus sprang out, his teeth seeking to crush the bird's head before it could fly off.
Asmodeus attempted to catch a bird! He was [UNSUCCESSFUL] -3SP
Alas, the bird was already hyper aware of cats in the area. Abandoning the grub, it flew of in a hurry, leaving behind a single little blue feather. Asmodeus spat after it, but then his mismatched eyes landed on the Crew. "Well well... looks like my friends have stepped outside of their territory." He said with a slight grin, his tone neither hinting at malice nor friendly. "Get bored of hanging around the old rotting tree?" Okay maybe there was a little quip that time, but it was subtle, and he quickly turned his attention to other birds nearby. He'd hunt those, if it looked like it would be safe to do so with these cats. Maybe if things went well this time, maybe... maybe he'd consider being their ally. Maybe he'd join them if they asked.
