Welcome to SkyClan Patrols and Duties: Hunting Patrol!
The clan is growing, and there's always a need for fresh kill.

RULES:
Each participant can hunt up to 3 times during the topic, getting 3 chances to catch prey. You can roll your attempts separately, following the posting order, or all at once, combining each attempt into a single, longer post.
If a predator is rolled (10), all participants are expected to take part in dispatching it, as per Honeydew's orders.

Patrol Leader: Nightbird
Participants: Shatteredsky, Yewshade, Myrtlebloom

Honeydew

At dusk, Honeydew followed Nightbird and the others through the forest, following the Moonlit Creek as they padded along. Her fur brushed against Yewshade, and her spirits were high at the opportunity to hunt alongside him and Myrtlebloom. It was nice to be able to perform regular warrior duties after so much had been going on lately.

She looked to Nightbird for direction, as she'd assigned him as the patrol leader.
"Where do you think we should hunt, Nightbird?" she inquired, her pale blue gaze sweeping about the patrol. The sun was setting, casting long shadows throughout the wood, and prey would soon be returning to their nests for the evening. It was a good time to be out hunting, especially so late in leafbare.

I don’t feel sorry for what I have done; I feel sorry for the people who do

Shatteredsky lingered behind Yewshade and Honeydew, gaze turned away from Myrtlebloom completely and stationing himself between his sister and the rest of the patrol. He didn't know what their incompetence might cause for her, especially since the usual number of four or five warriors per patrol was reduced by one thanks to Myrtlebloom's complete inability to do even the most basic of things. She hardly deserved to be called a Clan cat, let alone a warrior. They'd have been better off bringing a kit along with them than her, but of course no one wanted to see common sense.

Tier 1 Warrior | Skyclan | She/Her

Myrtlebloom walked alongside her brother and Honeydew. She was annoyed that Shatteredsky was also in the patrol, and she made no attempt to hide the aggravated look on her face. Her attention was on her surroundings but she was sure to keep an ear tilted back so she wouldn’t be caught off guard if her former mentor said or tried anything.
