OOC: Happens after thisNext up was his son, Fidgetkit. Sootstorm tried to give the tom a confident smile, as if to assure him that everything would be alright. He worried quite a bit about his rather quiet son, who sometimes seemed to be stuck in his own world, but he could see no reason why he shouldn't be made an apprentice. It might even help him grow up a little. | Fidgetkit watched as his sisters got names, and now it was his turn.
The tom was well groomed, much to Fennelbreeze's endless efforts, though his curled ears and his swirly cowlick on his head were just part of what made him who he was.
The tom was already apprentice sized, and had been for at least a moon. Still rather lanky, with even bigger paws. His eyes were intense, giving off an adult energy beyond what was normal even for him.
He was ready. |

Sootstorm could see the determination harden his son's gaze, and proudly he beckoned him forward. "Fidgetkit, step forward. You have now reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice," He began, pausing for a heartbeat to allow for Fidgetkit to step forward. "From now until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Fidgetpaw. Your mentor will be Pantherpounce," He finished, gaze searching for the dark-furred warrior in the crowd. Pantherpounce was a relatively new warrior, but hopefully he would do just fine.

| (I think i'm doing this right since it follows rapid->paw... I'm just gonna close my eyes and dive right into the soup. Its fine)
Rapidpaw purred so happy, they were all getting names one after the other, this was like the biggest party ever! Everyone was here and everyone seemed so happy. Well... Crakepaw earlier maybe had not seemed the most happy but perhaps she was just reading too much into that.
"yesss fidgetpaw lets gooooo!" she cheered so happy for her brother.
Stoatkit was bound to have his soon too any day now as well and she couldnt wait for all them to be in the same den soon... they traveled a lot now but once they got home at least she had heard they had more permanent-structures ______________________________________

Galestorm
Galestorm raised his voice to celebrate the apprenticeship of the fourth apprentice of the evening.
"Fidgetpaw!" his deep voice rang out among the others. He watched as Pantherpounce was named as his mentor, and Galestorm nodded his head in approval, his amber eyes shining. To see WindClan grow so much distracted Galestorm from the tragedies the clan had faced in recent moons. These new apprentices brought with them so much potential.
One day Cloudypetal and I will be mentors too, he thought, as Pantherpounce was one of WindClan's youngest warriors beside them. His paws tingled with excitement and anticipation for the day that he would be given the honor of training his own apprentice. What a great responsibility that will be.

| Cloudypetal joined in the celebrations, yowling as loud as she could to celebrate the newly named Fidgetpaw. Her heart melted at the support the siblings were showing one another - reminding of her Galestorm. It was almost bittersweet to watch.
Though, she couldn't help but have second thoughts about the mentor. He was a young warrior, only a few moons older than her and her littermate and yet he was trusted to train one of the deputy's own kits. Would this mean that we'd get an apprentice soon? She shifted uncomfortably at the thought. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that kind of responsibility yet. She silently vowed that she'd approach Pantherpounce soon to ask for tips - on the off chance that she'd be selected as one of the mentors. ______________________________________ |
