With all supplies gathered, in check, and finally done—Fawnshine was now confident in her abilities to successfully head forward with the bundle of herbs in between her jaws. No longer will this haunting illness loom over the heads of our clanmates. We'll be set free from their vicious claws. With a medicine cat's expertise and long-lived experiences, the molly strode forward, approaching clanmates who would soon be released from the illness' grasp.
Burdockroot, Coneflower, Lambs' Ear, Ragweed, Tormentil, Wild Garlic and Lavender.They had it all.
Supplies weren't infinite, but they'd have to make do with what they had. Approaching Echosong, who was also ready, she gently nudged the tom for the stash of herb bundles she'd prepared with him the day prior. "One by one, we'll manage to cure them all. Eventually, this sickness must go. It cannot stay forever." Fierce determination gleamed in heterochromia eyes which usually bore calmness.

Thrushnose laid curled up obediently in one of the moss nests of the makeshift den, his breathing labored and heavy. Eventually, he'll get his turn and have a taste of those seemingly magical, curing herbs himself—but for now, the health of his clanmates came first before him. So the tom laid his head down, muzzle resting by the edge of the moss bed in wait. -----

The sun was far too bright for Silverpaw and her eyes squinted painfully as she tried to make out the cats that approached the sick den. “Fawnshine and Echosong…?” they wheezed. Her head felt heavy, she didn’t thing they had the strength to lift it. To lift any of their limbs, but she had to. Silverpaw wasn’t ready to given in to the sickness, they would not curl up and die in pain like the unlucky ones, or let sleep take her like the lucky ones. With the strength that the silver apprentice had remaining she pushed herself into a sitting position. It was a slow process, everything ached and their vision swam. Her paws were unsteady and the nausea was debilitating, but Silverpaw had to do it.

Fawnshine's gaze remained calm as she lifted her head, moving with as much grace as expected of a medicine cat and carefully placing the bundle of herbs in front of Silverpaw. "I'm here," She whispered, gently nudging the herbs over for the she-cat. The sickness in the den would've been suffocating for anyone who wasn't accustomed to feeling such sights or scents—but fortunately, she'd dealt with her fair share of them before.
Nipping at the leaf that concealed contents inside of the herb bundle, she allowed for it to be exposed; the strong scent of herbs instantaneously recognizable to anyone nearby. "Have some of these. I promise you'll feel better soon." She nodded, reaching over for some fresh lavender and kneading them over the moss bed. The soothing aroma did its bliss - providing comfort and immediate relaxation while Fawnshine did the rest of her work to carefully weave the crushed buds into Silverpaw's pelt.

Using this combination of all seven herbs--Burdock Root, Ragweed, Wild Garlic, Lavender, Lamb's Ear, Coneflower, and Tormentil--you find hope of fully recovering, with all symptoms relieved!

Softpaw ambled her way into the medicine den, or what passed for one, a large tom at her side providing strength for her limbs. Softpaw leaned on Wiggleworm as she in turn tried to support him, matching the tom's paw steps as they went. Feebly the molly spat out one of the medicine cat's names. "Fawnshine, I..." Her brain worked furiously to find the word for "sick", but nothing came. Softpaw settled with sticking her tongue out at the medicine cats. They were supposed to be healers, surely they would understand her meaning.

The smell of sickly sweet herbs, brought on a fresh wave of nausea. "I can't..." Silverpaw began to protest. Chances were the herbs would come straight back up, they hadn't been able to hold anything down for days. Fawnshine had other plans for Silverpaw, and was quickly getting to work. The scent of soothing lavender quickly overpowering the herbs, and the silver apprentice's stomach began to settle. Tentatively they reached forward pulling the opened bundle of herbs towards herself. Slowly, as to not make themselves sick, Silverpaw lapped up the herbs. Her dry mouth from the sickness preventing them from experience the often unappealing flavour of leaves, and flowers and seeds.
They ate so slow that by the time that they finished, the first of the herbs was starting to work their magic. The difference was miniscule, but the young molly knew it would not be long until they were truly better. The ghost of a purr rumbled in the back of Silverpaw's throat at the thought of being finally useful to their clan again. She couldn't wait to resume training with Quailprowler. "Thank you..." she meowed softly.

Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times.
Littlepaw had reached a point beyond exhaustion. The constant pain and nausea she felt was humiliating. She should've been one of the healthy cats that got to continue to hunt and explore, but instead she was stuck. It wasn't exactly a break from training either. Sure, she got to stay in camp and sleep in without having anyone wake her up early for a patrol, but she'd prefer the early mornings over the non-stop coughing. She didn't have the energy to conjure up any witty one-liners as she trudged into the medicine den, looking like she had just been dragged through the dirtplace. No words escaped her maw. All she could do was give Fawnshine a blank stare and a hoarse cough.

Acornstem sat to the side, a soft rumble in her chest at the sight of Fawnshine hard at work giving out the herbs. It had been a blessed moment when the medicine cat had confirmed to her that a believed cure was found - with enough faith to start handing it out to everybody who was still clinging on. She sat there, a soft smile on her face...Before it was interrupted with a sudden sneeze that left her scrubbing at her nose with a groan. Of course, she wasn't healthy either but her sickness wasn't anything as bad as the others. She could wait, she supposed - unaware that Fawnshine had a different thought about that fact.

Fawnshine's gaze immediately lifted at the mention of her name, lifting herself to assist Softpaw and Littlepaw into the den. "Shh, I've got you. I know what you mean." She nodded, gentle in her movements and encouragingly guiding them to empty moss beds where available. Preparing multiple more separate bundles of herbs meant for the upcoming cats, she nodded in appreciation to Silverpaw's thanks and reminded her to rest before returning to work.
"Chew slowly, and carefully, each of you," She nodded, beginning to knead lavender against the moss beds and once again gently sprinkling them over her clanmates' fur. "Remember to take your duties easy and have plenty of rest after."
