Hello WCC!
After leaving the forest behind and journeying in the hope to find a suitable place to stay, the clans have finally found the Southern Lake, the place that StarClan had guided them to through their medicine cats. Here, there is a stable prey population, and the land is free of the illness that had struck the forest back at home. Leaf-bare has not yet closed its icy jaws around the Clans but the mountain path they have taken is now too dangerous to traverse back over until New-leaf.
Upon entering the November Gathering, it was asked that an effect die be rolled for each character attending. It is within this post that the results of this die will be relevant.
If your character has rolled an
8, 9, or 10, your character is safe.
However, if your character has rolled a
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7, your character has fallen ill.
If you wish for your character to fall ill, and the character did NOT roll a number that indicates illness, you may choose to have your character fall ill anyways. Please know that if you make this decision, your character may not become healthy again until further notice. Furthermore,
if you did not roll for your character at the gathering, or have a kit that has now become an apprentice, you must roll for them now. You may roll for those characters in the Arrival topic. Current kits and outsiders are still exempt from rolls.
If your character has fallen ill, they may display one or multiple of the following symptoms in varying severity.
- Mild Severity: Coughing, Sneezing, Chills. 1, 2
-2 HP, -20 SP Debuff
- Moderate Severity: Fever, Dizzy spells, + Previous. 3, 4
-5 HP, -30 SP Debuff
- High Severity: Bloody coughs, Delirium, Vomiting, Muscle Weakness + Previous. 5, 6, 7
-10 HP, -40 SP Debuff
If you wish for your character to display more severe symptoms than the number that was rolled, you may choose to worsen their symptoms, but know that you are NOT allowed to decrease the severity of your characters symptoms, even if you purposely make them more severe.
No single herb seems to entirely alleviate symptoms or cure the illness. Like pieces of a greater puzzle, they may touch one symptom or another, if only briefly.
P.S. The only herbs the clans have are what the medicine cats have brought. Only three known herbs can be found locally, those being: Cobwebs, Poppy Seeds, and Marigold. Additionally, with the clans now at their temporary home, the hunting season rolls will now return to
regular season rolls, which will be Leaf-fall rolls until December 20th where it will roll over to Leaf-bare rolls.
P.P.S. Arrival counts towards your Gathering Requirements. Good Luck WCCers. :)
