Ajex had not visited the Clans since he was carried out by that eagle all those moons ago. It had been moons since, and he was proud to say that he had come far. His once fluffy coat was replaced with a far more sleek pelt, and underneath it was the toned muscles of a fighter. A thin scar ran down his left shoulder from a particularly aggressive weasel, but his good looks were otherwise unaffected by his love for fights. The ginger tabby padded past the border confidently, breathing in the fresh scents of the river as he did so. He'd even press his paws into the dirt, leaving marks of his existance every step he took. His heart was beating loudly like it always did before a fight. Fighting predators no longer held value for him, not when their poor intelligence made them little more than a particularly difficult prey. Here in Clan territory were real warriors, who would surely be a stronger opponent. Ajex felt a thrill run down his spine as he thought of meeting such a warrior and fighting them. A warrior must always be ready to face any challenge with his claws. The outcome of the battle is irrelevant — what matters is that he learn from the experience.
A splash from his left made the tabby whirl around, claws unseathed and eyes bruning with a feverish madness. But it was simply a frog, sending murky water into the air as it hopped among the reeds. Ajex starred at the creature, unsure if he should catch it. He never liked the taste of frogs-- but then again, prey was scarce, and this one was right before him! The ginger tabby's paws lashed out, but there was a sudden noise behind him and he whipped around, forgetting the frog completely as he came face to face with a cat much bigger than he was. A smile grew on his face as he realized that this was the "warrior" he had been looking for.
"Hello there, comrade."

Scorchpaw held a fish in her jaws tightly, leaping over a narrow stream with practiced ease. Her ears pricked up as she swam over a slightly wider stream. She smelled something unusual—not a scent of ThunderClan nor any other Clan cat. It was different.
She padded off the stream only to see and hear the voice of a rogue. She felt her ears prick up, not only because she was irritated from the rogue's visit to RiverClan but because of the anger creeping up her fur.
"Leave!" she scowled, unsheathing her claws. "Leave now!" she spat.
Everyone knew it was leaf-fall. The rivers and streams in RiverClan were being poisoned slowly but surely. Even Scorchpaw herself was grateful she even had fresh kill to eat. She knew this rogue was much bigger and stronger than her, but Scorchpaw's loyalty to RiverClan would never change. RiverClan was starving, and Ajex was not helping.
She growled irked and dropped the fish from her jaws, baring her fangs at the rogue. "I'm not asking you to leave. I'm demanding you to leave! This is RiverClan!" she snarled, slowly making her way to face Ajex, flicking her tail in despise of the rogue. "Do you understand!?"
Scorchpaw wanted to rip the rogue open, but she was much scrawnier and definitely weaker. Defending her Clan was her job, and she didn't want to die, but she'd only retreat if necessary. Maybe the rogue would comply or rip her piece to piece. Her big green eyes locked with his. "I may be smaller, but don't try me..." she muttered.

Ajex watched with a smirk on his face as the she-cat approached him, hissing and spitting like one of those Twoleg dogs that were all bark and no bite. Now that she was closer, he could see that she was quite young, maybe about apprentice aged, if his memory served him right. Well, it wasn't quite what he was hoping for, but at least she seemed eager to fight
Ajex took a step forward, closing the distance between the two cats instantly. "And what if I do try you?" He teased, eyes glinting maliciously as he looked down at the she-cat. He could almost taste her fear, something that not even hunting predators offered him. Hmm... he had never tried eating cats, and most likely wouldn't, but a kitty's pelt would certainly look nice on him.

The day was turning out unsuccessful as Swanpaw missed catching a mouse, paws slamming down on empty air and cold soil. With a growl, the apprentice turned away from where her prey had been just a second ago, disappointment and anger bubbling in her chest.
The sound of voice drew Swanpaw's attention, one of her clanmate, the second unfamiliar. Padding forward, she spotted one of the newer apprentices and an unfamiliar looking tom. Someone who smelled like no clan cat, and her fur bristled immediately. He must have been a rogue, and Sweanpaw had no love of those weasel-minded snakehearts. Especially ones that happened to be on Riverclan territory.
"You should listen, rogue." Swanpaw hissed, tail lashing, "Get off our territory. Now."
Walk like a majestic lion, eyes glinting with so much desire.
The third cat to emerge from the undergrowth was Bubblenose, who was more than relieved that she had been passing by. Leaving two apprentices to handle a rogue alone was something that she didn't even want to imagine, although she admired Swanpaw and Scorchpaw's bravery in approaching the stranger in an attempt to uphold the rules of the borders. She quickly and silently scanned the two apprentices to ensure that they were alright and had no injuries before turning her gaze back to the unnamed rogue. A fight hadn't broken out yet, but with the state that RiverClan was in, she needed to do all she could to avoid claws being unsheathed.
They were struggling to eat, cats were growing skinnier and smaller by the day, and the last thing they needed was to exert energy that could be focused into hunting by attacking a rogue. "I hope your tour of RiverClan has been nice, but you need to leave now." Bubblenose had never heard herself sound so stern. It was almost out of character for her, but she wasn't interested in befriending any outsiders right now, especially not any that were trespassing.
"I'm not hoping for a fight, but there will be one if necessary. This is your chance to go." The she-cat flicked an ear toward the border. Hopefully this rogue realized that it was unwise to charge into an unevenly numbered fight.
Pour more gasoline on fire, fly again, rising through the flames.

It seemed quite the commotion had rounded up near this rogue Mosspaw saw a rival, Scorchpaw. Maybe they could set aside their differences for now. She grunted and joined the fray. "You have one more chance before we start attacking," she meowed, showing no fear in her voice nor any bravery. Though she would have shown more bravery if she wasn't with a cat she resented, Scorchpaw. She stared at the rogue. She unsheathed her claws, stepping closer to the rogue. "Last chance..." It seemed all the apprentices around her, with combined strength, could overthrow a rogue, and she was confident in that.

Much to his delight, another two, no, another three cats joined him, all of them hissing at him to get off their territory. Clan cats really were something, weren't they? Most of them weren't even older than him-- and he was young. As much as he would love to fight with all of them in one go-- he could train his crowd-fighting skills and test out the Clan cats' strengths-- he wasn't a complete fool. Fighting all these cats on their own land would only result in him going to sleep with half a dozen wounds on him tonight.
But since when did he care? If they had to drag his blood-soaked body out of their territory, so what? His paws were tingling with a feverish excitement, his body harder to control with each heartbeat that the air remained so tense. "Try me," He hissed, then lunged forward, claws slicing through sleek fur. He attacked the oldest-looking one among them, the grey she-cat. Pity he had to ruin her pretty face, but scars had their own beauty.
Ajex used Jumping Strike, dealing 8(+3)dmg and -7SP
