All Hail SkyClan's Resident Disney Princess
thymepaw
No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing.
Thymepaw was forcefully awoken by the panicked sound of Whinchatpaw’s voice, which was only followed by more screams and yells of anger and alarm. The she-cat wasn’t quite sure what she was expecting to see when she opened her eyes, but it certainly hadn’t been this. The fury of battle was something that Thymepaw was unfamiliar with. Trained warriors were probably used to both the thrill and the horror, but for an apprentice that was fresh out of the nursery, this was a nightmare.
All around her were the forms of her denmates as they fought to fend off the fox that was attempting to pry open the apprentices’ den. As she rose to her paws and crept toward the light, she realized that Foxtrot had joined the fray as well. For once, she was not comforted to see her uncle. She was far too worried for his safety to feel any sort of ease. The apprentice knew that she needed to help. Surely there was something she could do, even if she wasn’t well-versed in fighting yet.
Pain was something that Thymepaw had never wanted to see again. To see her Clanmates suffering… it broke her heart. Cats would be walking out of this fight with injuries, some worse than others, and she wasn’t sure if she was prepared to see it. She had never prayed to StarClan before, but she found herself silently hoping that the stars would keep everyone alive today. Pain was one thing. Death… that was a phenomenon that Thymepaw wasn’t ready to witness yet. She would just have to rely on her instincts for this fight. The she-cat swiftly unsheathed her claws and sent them straight toward the fox’s exposed body.
thymepaw used “front paw strike” on fox 5 (apprentice den), dealing 6 damage and costing 7 stamina.

Having been picking through the store of herbs, Smokepetal was awake, two piles before her. One was herbs that had gone bad, and needed to be thrown out, the other held herbs that needed to be resorted. That, she could do later. First-
A caterwaul from outside made Smokepetal flinch, scattering the herbs at her paws, and the sound of sudden battle made her sink low to the floor of the medicine den, fur standing on end. Fox! she heard the word spat and snarled, and suddenly the pugent scent of predator assaulted her nose. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Eyes wide, she laid there, breathing quickly. There was a sudden movement at the entrance of the den, where a massive silver form wrestled with a russet coated fox. Beechfang.
Brow furrowing, Smokepetal forced herself to her paws, taking a hesitant step towards the chaos. Her instinct begged her to sit still, where she was safe. There was no need for her to go out there, right? The clan was full of capable warriors who could take care of the foxes. But who will take care of the warriors? Trembling legs carried her towards Beechfang, and she shoved outside into the camp. "SkyClan! C-call to me if you need help!"

Sunfire was already awake when the foxes stormed into camp. Like so many moons ago, when he'd been freshly apprenticed, the yellow tom leaped immediately into battle, sprinting towards the fox that his sister was engaged with. He didn't waste time with preamble, opting instead to just leap in, dragging his claws down the side of the fox's face.

The scent of fox preceded the raid by mere seconds. Spottedfrog had turned, just about to open her mouth to say something when the first flash of a russet pelt forced through the camp entrance. It was followed by another, and another, and another... too many for her to even keep track of as they burst through, yipping and barking and spreading out. This was no attack, this was a full scale invasion. Her hackles raised, head snapping wildly back and forth as she tried to decide a target. A large, scarred fox targeted Bloodstrike, and that was all the urging she needed. Blind to all else, she charged to the aid of her father, slamming into the fox and sinking her teeth into whatever bit of flesh she could find.
Spottedfrog used Snap on Kurama, dealing 10 damage at the cost of 7 stamina.

Ambersun didn't expect foxes to attack SkyClan camp.
She had heard the alarm sound, though it took the yowls of her clanmates to realize what that actually meant. As her clanmates struck each of the snarling foxes, seemingly doing a lot of damage each to them, the young warrior followed suit with her own attacks. One of the foxes was being double-teamed by Lightningbreeze and Creamsky near the leader's den, so the young she-cat decided to join them.
"Hey," she said quickly, hoping that it would calm her nerves. Staring down the fox, the young she-cat slashed at its face. It reeled back in pain as she did so. StarClan, please don't let us be overwhelmed by them.

Snapping of twigs and leaves, yips and then the stink of foxes, followed by the yowls of SkyClan... dragged Hazelshade out of sleep and into confused fog.
The elder tried to stand immediately, but the old she-cat couldn't get her legs in order. She trembled and slumped, blinked in sleepy bafflement. Graceless but with determination, she stumbled far enough to see out of the thorn bush.
Foxes moved swiftly through the clearing, more than enough to attack every den. An older hardened one met the dark brown she-cat's bright yellow eye through the criss-crossed branches as it advanced on her den. Hazelshade stared back defiantly.
The locked gazes broke as a warrior shielded the entrance, teeth snapping with desperate strength at the invader. Another warrior sprinted over to fight by her side, claws slashing down its face.
The clearing writhed with graceful SkyClan cats battling for their home against the larger russet attackers. Without her memory, in the chaos, Hazelshade could not make head or tail of who was where.
Her darting eyes, blown wide with panic while her heart hammered so hard against her chest, went to the apprentice's den. The grey apprentice with the russet chest fiercely burst out first ~ despite the disadvantage of his injured leg ~ he knocked the fox that snapped at the entrance away so his denmates weren't trapped.
For a moment, Hazelshade's eyes lit with pride. An army of apprentices followed Whinchatpaw, while a warrior came to assist, each aiming blows that one by one weakened the fox. Another threatened the nursery, where the elder saw a black-and-white pelt sheltering the kits ~ a strong warrior and apprentice fought it off, but Hazelshade's heart leaped in her throat.
The short-furred, slender elder could not make herself much larger, but she stood wide just inside the thorn bush den on frail unsteady legs, trying desperately to get her bearings. Her puffed up tail lashed while she hissed intimidatingly at the attacking fox.

Kurama was baffled at the lack of power behind the old dark tom's attacks. He saw this same cat rip through the bodies of his kin like the machines the twolegs use on trees before... where had all his power gone? He wasn't about to show any form of mercy of course, but it was still something he was going to ponder later. A sharp pain reminded him that it was not just the old tom he'd have to fight, and a death glare from his yellow eyes met with the second cat who had come to the old tom's aid. No matter. Kurama didn't care if he died, so long as the old tom went down with him. He shifted his focus back onto Bloodstrike and his teeth sought whatever he could grab hold of.
Bloodstrike didn't want to even acknowledge how grateful he was that Spottedfrog had come to help him. He certainly didn't want to acknowledge how much he needed her help. His claws were gone. The twolegs took them from him. It was something he'd hidden since his return and feigned illness as a reason why he couldn't hunt... while also refusing to go into the medicine den at all. Maybe this was better. Maybe dying instead of letting the clan know what had happened to him would be best. He could die with his dignity in tact. As the lead fox's teeth plunged into his flesh once more, the pain snapped him out of his shamed state of mind and he came roaring back to life. With murder flashing in his eyes, Bloodstrike shot his fangs forward and bit the fox back. He twisted this way and that way trying to tear flesh as much as he could...
That old fang... the old fang constantly exposed to the elements and dryness finally succumbed to the abuse it had endured for moons due to Bloodstrike's torn lip. Bloodstrike wrenched his head back from the fox's hide, hoping to rip a chunk of meat away from his opponent... only to howl in agony as his tooth broke in half. Blood poured from the old tom's mouth. He back-pedaled, confused as to what had just happened.

◇ whinchatpaw ◇ "you get one chance, make it count."
Skyclan camp had ruptured into a mess of screeching and yowling, everyone doing their best to keep their attackers at bay. To Whinchatpaw's surprise, all of the apprentices didn't hesitate to join him in putting their claws into the fox's fur. He nodded gratefully when Foxtrot came to help, but it seemed as though they didn't need to worry. A barrage of attacks gave the creature no room to react and Whinchatpaw felt immense pride for Jaypaw's fighting skills.
Sorrelpaw, Ploverpaw, Bubblepaw, and Thymepaw, all had their go at battling, and battle they did. The poor fox struggled to escape Jaypaw's clutches, so the tom seized the opportunity. The predator's horrendous screeching was ended in a deadly strike to its neck. "I'd commend you all for your courage, but there are... a lot more of them we need to deal with." he panted, offering some encouragement to the five younger apprentices. He knew this situation was terrifying, especially for those who had yet to be exposed to the real world.
"Jaypaw, Thymepaw, go with Foxtrot. Make sure the kits are alright. Bubblepaw, Sorrel, Plover- come with me. Let's go help the elders." The tom let a torrent of instructions breathlessly gush from his mouth, eyes dancing around as he took in just how many foxes were in camp.
Flower, Silverwing, Hazelshade, Graywind... stars- there's so many of them?! Urging the troop of apprentices to stick close, he dashed to the familiar thornbush to see both Graywind and Sunfire already engaging the fox there. Fortunately, Hazelshade didn't seem to be harmed. A blur of orange fur stopped his heart for a moment and he cried out as teeth met flesh. "Graywind, look out!" Rage seethed under his pelt as he joined the warriors in snapping at the predator.

Beechfang was vaguely aware of Smokepetal's voice behind her, offering healing to those who needed it. Another clanmate joined her in fighting the fox, but she didn't stop to look or offer thanks as she advanced on the russet-furred creature once more, snapping viciously at a shoulder. The fox was dazed still, and that meant there was no room for anything else to focus on.

Another cat joined her, and Wolfblossom risked a glance to find Bearpaw yanking the fox back by the tail. She offered her grandson a grim nod of approval before digging her claws into the beast's flank while it was trying to find balance. She would rather have not had any of the apprentices anywhere near this fight, but this was their camp, their home. As much as she wanted to protect them, it was theirs to defend, too. The fox near the apprentice den went down beneath a swarm of the apprentices and Foxtrot, and Wolfblossom felt a glimmer of pride for them. Even the newer, less-trained apprentices were fighting. They shouldn't had to, but they were Skyclanners. Now to give the rest of the foxes the same fate.

Stormwatcher took a second or two to quickly check over his former apprentice worried that she had been hurt by this monster invading their home. He didn't see any wounds on her and he was relived of that.
"you alright?" he panted as he turned to the fox again. The fox wasnt pinned anymore but Stormwatcher was intent on getting its attention on him and not Stoneheart.
"come here ugly" he taunted as he reared up on his hind legs while the fox was still getting out of its pin and brought his massive front paws crashing down on the fox's unprotected head.
Once the fox was on the ground, Stormwatcher started wailing on him with ground and pound vicious attacks right to its head.
"you come to my house? Try hurt my apprentice?"
BAM BAM more heavy front paw shots to the fox as blood started dripping from the downed fox.
"Let's talk now! Let's talk now!!! he hissed at the fox while bashing its head with uncontested strikes. (KHABIBBBB)

Bearpaw
Gender: Male Rank: Apprentice
Bearpaw felt a glimmer of pride at Wolfblossom's approval and skirted around as the fox stumbled, trying to steer clear of its flailing limbs. He watched as the she-cat slid her claws down the fox's flank, a dark sort of satisfaction flickering on his face. This treatment was exactly what a no-good fox deserved.
Hissing, the young tom lunged forward while the fox was distracted by Wolfblossom's attack and sank his fangs into its front leg, twisting and trying to throw it off balance once more. Knowing better than to test his luck, however, Bearpaw ripped himself away, swiping his tongue over his jaws. The metallic tang of blood made his pulse race somewhat and Bearpaw found that he...enjoyed it.
Dark blood dripped from the apprentice's mouth and he risked a glance at the fox by the apprentice's den just in time to see Whinchatpaw deliver the final blow. He smiled approvingly, glad to see that his sisters were all unharmed.

Birdstar
The clatter of branches snapping was more than enough to drag Birdstar from her nest. The acrid stench of fox clung to the air, registering through half-awake senses moments before agitated yipping broke the still air. Birdstar was out of her den in an instant, looking on with awed horror as an entire pack of foxes tore into camp, throwing themselves at her warriors with abandon and slithering dangerously toward the dens of SkyClan’s young; their elders; their herbs. It was an obscene, outlandish sight, watching them move like they could think: one that might have been worth marveling, if not for the bloodshed they were keen on.
Many of the beasts were already engaged, bitten and clawed from various sides by warrior and apprentice alike. Birdstar nodded stiffly, allowing the moment of pride at watching her Clanmates’ training and experience before steeling herself to focus only on the battle laid out across camp. Her heart tugged her toward the mass of apprentices, that should not have had to fight for their lives; toward Bloodstrike, when a screech of pain ripped over the crash of battle; but her focus was set when her gaze swept to Falconmoon and saw he was fighting alone. She drove forward hard, murmuring some quiet reassurance to herself before her sprint brought her close enough to spring forward, throwing her weight into the fox and sinking her claws in with a deep snarl.
Star Striker is active, granting +2 to damage dealt. +3 to HP due to Smokepetal's Defending Buff. Birdstar used Jumping Strike, dealing 12 (10+2) damage and costing 7 SP.

There was a certain time of night where the first was still and cool, and a young warrior could be left alone to stew in her thoughts. Although she didn't do it often, some nights found Violetsky wandering the outskirts of camp, never straying too far for both the protection of camp and her own safety. And of course it was tonight she had strayed further, confident that the quiet night would quickly alert her to any unusual sounds of danger as she darted through the trees, climbing higher in order to see the stars.
It was the sound of the foxes that was her first warning alarm. The sound of disturbance, of the camp's early warning systems, built to wake the clan at chance of an intruder. Instinctively, Violetsky whipped around, changing the course of her tree flight in a direct path back to camp. She almost fell in the process, and had to dig her claws deep into the think branch, thankful she had reacted fast enough as to not fall out of the tree. By the time she had made it make to camp, the battle was evident. More foxes than she could count swarmed various dens, and yet each were soon met with defence from skilled warriors and apprentices.
But it was in that moment Violetsky froze as she watched the battle rage below her, in the heart of her home. Where did she go? What did she do? There were so many opponents to chose from and yet none at all. She felt her chest tighten and breathing grow short as she stared down from her tall perch, unable to make her paws move.
Just climb down Violetsky. Help your clanmates, it's not that hard. Stop hiding away like some kit, there apprentices there fighting harder than you ever could.
That voice in her head was back, at first seemingly helpful and comforting only to turn critical in a matter of seconds. Violetsky closed her eyes, trying to gather herself, but was met with flashes of all her loved ones facing the foxes in an ever-losing battle. Dawnfeather, Alderpaw, Graywind, Wolfblossom. The consequences if she didn't move right now.
It was that final fear that made her move, dropping to a lower branch and launching herself at the nearest fox, which was fighting both Falconmoon and Birdstar. The tightness in her chest still hadn't left. She still felt like she couldn't breathe, but maybe that was what the adrenaline of battle did. Maybe it was normal, and she just didn't know yet what it was to be a warrior. Regardless of her doubts, her claws held strong against the intruding creature.

Jaypaw was surprised to see the fox had been killed already. Well, now he had the pleasure of pinning a dead fox's corpse. He quickly hopped off, and listen to Whin. Whin had instructed he, and Thyme go with Foxtrot to make sure the kits were alright. Almost as if he were in auto mode, he did as told running at a decent pace to the nursery. “1 down 8 to go” he muttered quietly, no one would here that over the shouts that were still to much for his ears. It seemed this next one was stunned, no need to jump onto it. It had pained him to use a simple paw swipe to attack, but it would have to do he already wasted a quarter of his stamina jumping on the first fox.
It irritated Jaypaw when cats just used a paw to attack. He hated it. A simple paw, what was that going to do? Leave a scratch on your opponent’s nose? You have to attack to them with all your might when fighting, no simple scratch on the opponent will make the difference. These are his thoughts as he swipes as hard has he can at the next fox.
