Dustkit's Apprentice Ceremony

His first ceremony. It was strange honestly looking up at the rock that Smallbean and Shrikestorm usually occupied but for once it was his turn. He was finally allowed up there without everyone questioning what was going on.

Swiftly the tall tom jumped up on the Tall Rock before calling out to the clan. "Let all cats old enough to run the moor gather here for a clan meeting! He made sure to project his voice so everyone within the camp could hear it.

Dustkit padded out of the nursery with a challenging look to anyone who looked at him. He was going to br made an apprentice and learn the ways of the warrior. Which meant he could get stronger and fight more cats. Dustkit sat down near the front, smirking up at the new deputy.

Tigerdance didn't know how to feel about standing on the tall rock. He was already a tall cat, and the rock had only made him taller. It was a little absurd if he had to be honest. Green eyes turned back to the gathering cats waiting for everyone to settle down before continuing on.

"Today we are gathered for an apprentice ceremony. Dustkit please step forward." The deputy stated, looking down at the kit, who was giving him a rather smug look. The deputy narrowed his gaze, giving the kit a cold look telling him to straighten up. "Dustkit, you have reached the age of six moons. From this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Dustpaw. Your mentor will be Sootstorm. I trust him to keep you on the best path possible towards warriorhood." The striped tom gave a firm nod before jumping down and concluding the ceremony.

dustpaw ran up to his father and then got in a playful fighting pose. "Cant get rid of me papa!" he mewed with a giant smile but then stood up normally. He touched noses with his father, and new mentor, before nodding. "Teach me lots." he mewed the words like instinct, still with a giant smile.
