Skyclan Bimonthly Predator Hunts [Rolling Signups & Information]

Under Bloodstar's leadership, Skyclan actively hunted predators within their territory. This tradition has returned, as the sky patrols are adept at spotting threats before being spotted themselves, and Wolfblossom and Birdstar seek to neutralize these threats in the name of making Skyclan's territory safer for the clan. What the sky patrols cannot handle on their own is reported to Skyclan's high ranks, and patrols are organized to take out these threats - whatever they may be. Predator pelts or feathers will be used as nesting material, and those cats who perform well will be acknowledged by their clanmates. These threads will use the battle system, and are a good way of gaining multiple ranking requirements for your characters.

• Signups will open on the 1st of every other month and close on the 7th. Participants will be announced and topics posted shortly after, with Wolfblossom issuing orders to the seniormost warrior on the patrol.
  
• Battle patrols are limited to no more than 4 warriors and apprentices, with a single character per RPer allowed on the patrol. Predators will be chosen based on the ranks of those on the battle patrol. If there is an overflow of signups for the month, multiple patrols can be made.
  
• Medicine cats and medicine cat apprentices are allowed to participate and do not count toward the 4-cat limit. They are discouraged to fight unless absolutely necessary, however, but Wolfblossom believes it would be good experience for them to accompany these patrols just as it is for Skyclan's warriors.
  
• You will have 48 hours to post after combat starts when it is your turn to attack. Similarly to the 36-hour rule under Official Group Battle Rules, if you take longer than the allotted time, your character will be considered knocked out or fled. While these predator hunts are by no means official battles, this is in place to keep threads moving and to prevent them from taking too long to complete. Posts in these threads do not have to be overly long, as these are fairly straightforward fights, after all.

Given the war brewing on the other side of the forest, I'm going to be lenient with the timer (and I might take a bit longer to start the thread, but I'll have it up before the week is out).
