In the small stretch of time while cats are being transported from the cat room to their cages, there is a slight draft that creeps into the cutter’s. A window is left open within the cats line of sight. This may be the cat’s only chance to escape, a chance that cannot be passed up…
The cats must escape the grasp of the twolegs in order to escape out the window! The battle system does not need to be used, but may be used if the rper desires.

Fresh air. A scent that Nightstar hadn't smelled, or felt for so long, and something that made his chest feel wild. The tom got to his paws nearly instantly, the thrum of his blood exhilarating and blinding to logic, but he was learning, and taught, to use his head and ignore his instincts. Nightstar inhaled deep, and let out an ear-piercing yowl, as he launched himself to the opening, opening the gap wider, "This is our moment! We must escape now, failure to do so, and we will not see our homes again!" Shadowclans leader called the cats to arms, before his eyes were glancing wildly for the smaller cats, ones that would need the help. Nightstars amber eyes landed on the kit that looked like a tiger, before he leaped down and charged for the little tom, his teeth fastening around the kits scruff before he raced for the window once more, hauling the kitten up and dropping it out of the opening. "Hurry!" Nightstar called, his eyes flicking to emerging twolegs and in response, his fur fluffed and his claws slid out, spitting and hissing in the most violent and aggressive manner he could. He'd protect these cats on their way out, he must.

Angrily, the tom was being carried by one of the twolegs, he assumed back to the place where he could roam. He had since learned in his time here to not scratch them unless he wanted to be put back in his prison. Suddenly, chaos happened up ahead, and he could just barely see the tom he had talked to jump into a window. He took advantage of the twolegs' shock, worming his way out from their grasp, and dropping to the ground. As if they had planned it, Nightstar swooped down to grab him by the scruff, and before he could complain, he was up in the window too. As he was about to thank the much larger tom, he was dropped outside, landing roughly in the grass.
Fur puffed out much more than he would like, the kit didn't quite know what to do. He didn't want to leave without the one who had helped him, and he didn't have much of a place to go anyhow. He would just have to stay and make sure Nightstar got out too.

Echopaw had finally gotten rid of those stupid bandages on his paws, he had discovered there were two claws on each front paw missing, and it had taken him a few days to.. cope with the fact they were gone. He was cleaning himself when he heard Nightstar's voice carry over the playroom. After nearly jumping out of his skin, the apprentice got to his paws and didn't hesitate to listen to the leader and jump from the window.
"Hurry! Hurry!" he cried as he stared up at the window with the stripey kit. Why run willy-nilly? He could barely remember the smell of his old home. Sometimes when he dreamed he could return to the sandy clearing surrounded by bracken. But that's what had started to become, a dream. He was beginning to think he would never make it out. Until now. But still, there was no way he could navigate back home by himself, so he waited, shifting his weight from paw to paw. Echopaw would also wait to make sure they all got out together.

Flamegaze had been curled in a corner of the room, silently watching the comings and goings. As the days in captivity grew longer, the less social he seemed to become. His eyes were half-lidded, and he longed to be anywhere other than this boring, miserable place. He wanted to be back with Riverclan, not lamenting his captured with the other captured clan cats.
Nightstar's voice broke him from his silence, head whipping up to stare at the Shadowclanner with surprise until the meaning of his words sunk in. Excitement, for the first time in what felt like moons (surely it hadn't been that long, he told himself) had him leaping to his paws.
"At last..." Flamegaze muttered, wasting no time in darting toward the open pane of glass. He wasn't the largest cat, so squeezing under it was easy enough, and - the scent of fresh air, feeling it on his short fur, however cold it was, made his heart leap.

Dawnfeather’s senses felt dull.
There was a deadly lethargy to the way her eyes were only half-lidded, a sort of impending terror that just wasn’t strong enough to shake her from her stupor. The argument she’d had with Nightstar and the unfamiliar rage had left her trembling and shaking and lost.Prima… please-
Fresh air.
Nightstar’s yowl was totally unacknowledged as Dawnfeather sprinted towards the opening, SkyClanner’s haunches sending her through with ease. Out above, the sun shone on her fur- the sun, the sun- and she fought the urge to frolic like a spring-mad hare.
“We’ve gotta go,” she mewed urgently to the cats around her. “They won’t just let us escape. Have we everyone?”
