Ice Fields [O]

Amberstone was taking it easy... sort of... but also didn't want her body to become weak after having to spend time in their "medicine den" for weeks. She wouldn't go after any hares, as they were big and strong enough to kick a cat wide open, but rabbits were fairly easy prey if they could be caught. She ran after one, ignoring the slight ache in her stomach and on her shoulder from her previous injuries. Closing the gap swiftly, she leaped for it.

She tackled the smaller creature and sank her teeth into it's neck. Satisfied with her kill, she thought about just returning home. She was still technically recovering, but she wanted to keep providing for her clan as well. It might make up for her being so snippy with everyone the last few weeks. She hadn't meant to be awful, but when she was hurting she was far from pleasant company. Carrying the rabbit casually and letting it swing from her jaws, she began to head back home.

Mudshriek had been out patrolling the territoy, doing his utmost to make sure that the clan was safe. Yes, Shrikestar would be pleased to note that Windclan's strongest warrior was on the prowl keeping a lookout for any dangers to his clan. He was just about to declare a job well done and head home when he noticed his clanmate.

"Amberstone!" He called, trotting over with his tail held high. "Brilliant catch! Reminds me of the time I fought an entire eagle alone. You should've seen the brute, it was at least four entire tail-lengths long!" As if he would ever miss an opportunity to remind others just how great he was.
