Stormypaw filed into Fourtrees with the representatives from ThunderClan, eyes darting around restlessly as she tried to keep herself calm. So much had happened so quickly, and she was still feeling from all that was going on. The constant looking over her shoulder, wondering who wouldn't come back from a hunting patrol next... Would it someday be her? The odds didn't seem to be in her, or any cat's, favor. Tonight was to be a night of peace however, and she settled in among the growing group of cats, attempting to hide her nervousness by puffing out her fur even as her flicking tail tip gave her away.

Silverwing joined her clan for this gathering, though she did not expect to speak with any of the cats attending. She had an empty space beside her, one reserved for a friend that was no longer with her. She hated having to think about that, and she probably should have just abstained from joining in on this gathering, but part of her had wanted to come and find Brackenwing returned and waiting for her. That of course wasn't happening, and she would just have to find a way to deal with it. Instead of joining the crowd of cats, Silverwing sat near the edge of the clearing, watching as they mingled.

Stoatclaw raised his head as more cats began to fill Fourtrees. Why were they having a gathering now of all times? Skyclan hadn't even been able to return to their own camp yet, and their fresh-kill pile, though low, was still sitting in in Fourtrees. Sighing to himself, Stoatclaw picked himself up and decided to join in the gathering.
Well, if it was going to happen anyway, then he could at least try and meet some new cats. All of the clans living in Fourtrees after the great shake had let Stoatclaw observe the other clan cats, and one pelt stuck out as unfamiliar to him. Not like he had ever taken the time to meet the cats he watched, but he was fairly confident that he had memorized most of their pelts, except for this one apparently. Making his way through the mass of cats, Stoatclaw got close enough to be heard over the voices of the crowd. "I don't remember seeing you around, are you new? Uh, my name is Stoatclaw by the way, I'm from Skyclan." He felt way too awkward in his greeting, hopefully this cat didn't notice.

Following his clanmates into the clearing, Curlypaw stared in awe at the trees that towered above. Just the surroundings were an amazement, not to mention the amount of cats that had arrived. Cats from every clan began to mingle amongst themselves and the curly-coated apprentice couldn't help but be proud of every-cat for being peaceful together. He'd heard the elders talk about how divided the clans could be at times, but it certainly didn't seem like it here.
Glancing around, Curlypaw caught sight of his clanmate Frondpaw talking to another cat, and decided while he was here he'd might as well make a friend or two. Padding up to the two toms, he dipped his head politely to the stranger and sat beside his clanmate. "Hi Frondpaw," he began to the tabby. He looked a bit nervous, was this his first gathering as well? Hopefully he could help him settle down a little. Turning his gaze to the other cat, he offered a smile. His smell was certainly different and he hadn't ever really met other clan cats to be able to distinguish their scents, but he didn't mind meeting someone new and assumed he would soon find out where they were from. "I'm Curlypaw of ThunderClan, nice to meet you!" he purred as he tucked his fluffy tail neatly around his paws.

It was hard to keep track of so many cats. Too many conversations going on at once, too many scents, it was annoying. He had no trouble with this before, why was it an issue now? His gaze flicked towards the leaders on the great rock, trying to memorize the new faces he saw up there. Locust didn't recognize any besides for his own, which was another frustrating issue. He felt so behind...
He didn't notice the approach of a stranger until they were right up on him, the tom blinking when he was suddenly addressed and letting silence linger too long on his tongue. "...Yes, I'm new." He spoke hesitantly, his voice a raspy rumble. The stranger, Stoatclaw, didn't need too many gritty details. He wasn't sure what story he would spin yet, or how honest he should be, so he chose his words carefully. "I'm... Locust of Shadowclan... Just Locust for now. I haven't been in the clan long yet, I'm grateful Nightstar allowed me entry. I hear he's selective about who he allows in." That still felt like more than this Skyclanner needed to know, but he needed something so the conversation wouldn't run dry. He didn't want any more awkwardness to settle in than what already had.

Darkspirit was practically a ghost in his own clan, sticking to the outskirts of camp and often spent time alone. A lot had happened. Many cats had been taken and yet they seemed to return with hardly any issues... just a different smell and odd stories. Whatever the twolegs were doing, it wasn't lethal. Darkspirit sat quietly on the edges of the gathering, if thats what this could even be called since most cats stayed here now. He was content to live his life in silence unless there were words that were necessary to be spoken.

Sticking well in the middle of Windclan, Amberstone kept a shield around her of Windclan cat bodies. She was going to do as she was instructed, Shrikestar wanted his clan to be here, so here they were. Here she was. The apricot and white tabby she-cat sat quietly and casually glanced around the clearing. She wasn't the most social of she-cats, and judging by how many others were off to the side, she wasn't alone. Unfortunately, the antisocial cats didn't exactly want to group up together. It was no big deal to her anyway. She would gladly go back home and go back to her own devices and only spend time with the one or two Windclan cats that she liked, or by herself entirely. She thankfully wasn't reliant on the company of others, nor was she entirely unwelcoming if someone should end up approaching.

Sleepyhollow nodded, no the calico was a good idea. He looked big and scarred, he reminded her of Nightstar in the way he carried himself. "Yeah let's go sit behind 'em." She meowed, not letting her gaze linger on Stoatclaw nor Locust before she made her way over near them, sitting within earshot. She glanced at Russetrye, not being able to hold her excitement. There were two things she really enjoyed, being sneaky, and exploring. Spying like this didn't take a lot of energy so it was perfect for her! "Wouldn't it be funny if Leopardsun had her kits at a Gathering. I'd bet ya three mousetail's she'd name one Moonkit." she meowed pointedly, her eyes lifting to the pale moon above them. She asked her question quietly, her ears rotating towards Locust and Stoatclaw. Her orange eyes scanned for Silverwing...but despite the other warrior being there, the calico couldn't make her out amongst the rest of the crowd.
Sleepypaw is spying with Russetrye.
As the apprentice spaced out, a Skyclanner bounded up to them, he wrapped his tail around his paws and smiled brightly, "Yo. Name's Echopaw. Thun'erclan. You're Skyclan. You smell like Dawnfeather. She was with me in Twolegplace. In the Twoleg den." Echopaw stated matter-of-factly, "Did Skyclan not go home?" he questioned, slightly confused. He had heard that kits weren't allowed to go to Gatherings, yet across the clearing sat Skyclan queens wrangling their kits.
Echopaw is talking with Sagepaw and Lightningpaw!
Foxpaw quickly returned the greeting Curlypaw gave him and waved his tail, "Nice to meetcha', I'm Foxpaw, from Skyclan. Welcome to our humble abode." he meowed jokingly as he looked around Fourtrees. He might as well make light of the situation they were in. In the grand scheme of things, he was happy to see all of the clans gathering once again in harmony. Even if it only lasted for a night.
The black furred tom was always down to meet new cats, make new friends, and these two were certainly interesting enough to keep his attention. He looked Curlypaw up and down, taking in his fluffy fur, not unlike a sheep. He chuckled to himself a little as he thought about Curlypaw standing next to a sheep. He didn't think he would be able to tell them apart! He'd seen sheep on his way to the clans from Twolegplace. Big fluffy things, kinda scary too. "I like your fur." he chirped frankly, giving the apprentice a genuine smile so he knew he was serious, "Although I don't know how you can keep it clean. I don't got a single curl on me and mines as messy as a mud puddle in a rainstorm."

Amberpaw stretched out, gazing at the gathering crowd. She was woken up for the Gathering by one of her clanmates, which put her in a bad mood. She needed her beauty sleep, you know! With a huff, she joined her clanmates gathering around camp, watching the cats pour into the clearing she called home.
Amberpaw is open to talk to, though she's in a bad mood. ~~
Rookfire smiled as he followed Nightstar into Fourtrees. A few of his kits were apprentices, and he knew that the ones who weren't yet would be taken care of tonight. With that worry being bottled away (somewhat unsuccessfully, but he was trying), the black tuxedo wanted to talk with other cats tonight, build relationships with cats he didn't know. Noticing a gray-and-white she-cat in ThunderClan's side of the clearing, the black tuxedo padded towards her. "Hey there," he said. "I'm Rookfire, a warrior of ShadowClan. What's your name?"

Oh- there was someone he knew! Frondpaw felt a bit of relief as Curlypaw approached. Another ThunderClanner. Now he felt slightly less like he was being interrogated. That was good. “Nice to meet you too, Foxpaw,” he echoed. Did SkyClan plan on staying here? Wouldn’t that be a bit too much for the queens and kits? Not that- not that he was questioning anything. Well. Not really. Foxpaw asked Curlypaw some more questions, and Frondpaw let himself zone out a little, staring down the slope towards the rest of the Gathering cats. Stars. He didn’t really want to be here. As Foxpaw finished speaking, the tabby tom reluctantly dragged his gaze back to the SkyClanner, politely nodding. He wasn’t sure that he liked this.
“Okayokayokayokay!” Russetrye hissed, awkwardly hiding behind her taller friend as the two made their way over. She… wasn’t that good at being sneaky… but for Russetrye, she was doing pretty well right now. “Yeah yeah yeah yeah,” she mewed, hyperactively flicking an ear. “‘M not takin’ that bet. Leopardsun’s a smart cat. Do you see Silverwing? She’s been kinda quiet lately, haven’t she?” The red-pelted warrior’s ears pricked, trying to unassumedly eavesdrop on the two toms. She had better hearing than Sleeps, didn’t she? Unfortunately, it seemed they’d arrived during a lull in the conversation.
Bending her head slightly, Russetrye leaned against her friend. At a casual glance, the two WindClanners would seem to be sharing a whispered conversation.
Frondpaw is “talking” to Foxpaw and Curlypaw. Russetrye is “spying” on Locust and Stoatclaw, and also looking for Silverwing.

Plumleaf had been mulling over the latest prophecy from Starclan, trying to figure out what it could possibly mean when the other clans began making their way into Fourtrees. She'd had so much on her mind that she'd completely forgotten about the gathering, and it honestly felt weird to have the other clans there when Skyclan had been living alone for the past few moons. She made her way to the spot where the medicine cats convened, hoping to consult with her colleagues about thee confusing omen, and what it would mean for the clans.

Mudshriek loved gatherings. It was the perfect opportunity to show the other clans exactly why Windclan was the strongest in the forest, and subsequently, why Mudshriek was the strongest warrior in the forest. He strutted into Fourtrees behind his clan, his heald held high and that familiar arrogant grin on his face. Icy blue eyes swept over the clearing, searching for the lucky cat who would be blessed by his superior company tonight. He immediately spotted a tom, Thunderclan judging by where he was sitting, and made his way over.
"Hello." He greeted. "I am Mudshriek of Windclan. Who might you be?"

Stormypaw noticed a cat walking in her direction but she didn't pay them much mind, assuming that they were heading towards one of her clanmates. After all, she had stayed to herself while the clans were together and hadn't mingled with the other clans. She was a bit surprised when the tom stopped in front of her and introduced himself, and she lowered her head slightly in greeting. "Nice to meet you, Rookfire. I'm Stormypaw, an apprentice of ThunderClan. Mottlestar is my mentor," she mewed, a hint of pride coloring her voice as she glanced up to her leader before returning her gaze to the tuxedo cat. Should she say anything else? He said he was a warrior, so perhaps it was best to stay quiet for now.

"Hello!" Wolfblossom greeted the other deputy - Shadowclan, by scent - with a friendly smile. "Well as can be, given we're sheltering here... It certainly makes gatherings feel awkward, doesn't it?" Realizing that the full moon had been upon them and needing to move the fresh-kill pile and the kits to be somewhat out of the way had been an interesting dilemma. And with so many cats filling the clearing, there was only so much that Skyclan could do to make it less obvious they were living here. "I'm Wolfblossom, Skyclan's new deputy." She added. "I hope Shadowclan is doing well?"

Stonepaw glanced up at the approaching pawsteps, privately glad to see it was one of her own clanmates. Dawnfeather seemed nice, and she would rather sit with cats she knew, truthfully. "Mistpaw is-" No sooner had she spoken that her sister appeared, and Stonepaw offered her a small smile. "Hey," She mewed. "If this is where we're staying, I hope not." She grumbled. Why were they even holding a gathering, anyways? So the other clans could see exactly how Skyclan was doing? They had tried, but the fresh-kill pile and the makeshift nursery were still visible, and there were just too many cats that Stonepaw didn't know for her to feel comfortable with. Judging by the expressions on some of her clanmates' faces, she wasn't the only one.
Wolfblossom is speaking to Leopardsun. Stonepaw is speaking to Dawnfeather and Mistpaw. Flamegaze hasn't arrived yet.

Humble abode, was SkyClan staying here after the big ground shake? Glancing around, he did notice some makeshift nests scattered around the edge of the clearing, and he assumed it made sense for them to stay here if their original home was dismantled. He hoped they would someday be able to return, he definitely understood that being misplaced was odd.
Turning his amber gaze back to the dark pelted apprentice, a smile grew on his maw. "Thanks!" he purred, happy that other cats enjoyed looking at his unusual pelt. Listening as the SkyClanner continued, he nodded his head up and down in agreement. "Yeah, it does get a bit tangled at times. I just try my best to stay out of brambles," he chuckled. It was true, brushing by a single bramble bush could change his whole day as he’d have to go pick the prickers from his curls, but more often than not he remembered to watch where he was stepping. "Does your pelt ever get tangled or messy?" Curlypaw inquired, turning his attention over to his quiet clanmate, Frondpaw. He understood that maybe he was a bit nervous, but even so, he'd hate to leave him out of the conversation.
Curlypaw continues to chat with Frondpaw and Foxpaw.

Darkspirit noticed a tom approach him looking like Bloodstar with the icy blue eyes of his father. Darkspirit was immediately unhappy and wondered if they were related. Dawnhawk had had many litters with many mothers, so blood relation was a possibility. The scent of the moor was on this cat... definitely a possibility of relation. He eyed the other tom with that infamous, stoic look that Darkspirit's bloodline possessed, hiding his displeasure of being approached.
"Darkspirit of Thunderclan." He answered simply. What else was there to say? It had been a long time since he had been at a gathering, though this time around it was hardly a choice. "I hope Windclan is doing well... and yourself." Could this get anymore awkward? Why was socializing hard? Darkspirit straightened himself up once he realized he was slouching. A descendant of Bloodstar he may be, but he had no interest in strutting out into a gathering.... unlike this fancy peacock in front of him.

Redice crept out of the shadows and entered the clearing. His eyes searched every cat here, wondering who he ought to approach. Shadowclan had been dull for moons, with the only highlight of it being his recent warrior ceremony. Even that had been particularly uneventful. He could approach whoever he wanted, but alas, the red tom merely traveled to the near center of the clearing and sat down. Perhaps he'd let some poor soul wander in his direction before speaking to them. Or would they be interesting? His eyes scanned everywhere, catching bits and pieces of everyone's conversations, just enough to get the gist of them. None of them were particularly interesting thus far...

Exhaustion pulled at each muscle as she followed silently in Mottlestar's steps, missing the comfort of home, wanting to go back to the way it had been a few moons ago, in the uncomfortable and shaky peace following the Dark Forest battle. The deputy sighed - it seemed she was only capable of that now, of expressing her complex and untenable emotions as just a harsh breath of cold air into the night sky, hopelessness welling up deep inside with the exhale.
The walk to Fourtrees was shorter at least, and she found herself padding in and sitting in her assigned seat in silence, dipping her head in silent greeting to the other deputies. Thistlemask wondered if they had been ousted from their homes, forced to make-do in a temporary camp - how many of their warriors and apprentices had been taken mid-hunt? She opened her mouth to speak, to ask, but found herself retreating from this idea instantly. The molly had never been one for conversation anyways.

Mistpaw made her way over, earning a smile from Dawnfeather (which wasn’t a hard thing to do, in all honesty) and asked a few questions. Oh. Dawnfeather was so used to Gatherings at this point that she hardly noticed the noise. “They’re always here, but we won’t always be sheltering in the hollow. Soon enough, we’ll go home, back to camp. Do- I don’t suppose either of you remember our camp? I haven’t really been there either, not for a very long time.” Not for moons and moons- but to her, that just proved further that SkyClan was where the cats were, not the camp itself. What did that mean for her, though? She- the cats she’d known and loved were gone. Yet- yet, she was able to forge new bonds, make new connections, like the two apprentices she was speaking to now, like the deputy who sat at the base of the Greatrock, like her mischievous son who appeared to be inadvertently frightening the life out of some poor ThunderClan apprentice. She wouldn’t leave them for the world. Wou- would Beechaunt be here? The sudden thought had her scanning the crowd once more. It would be easy to slip in, especially to where they sat, somewhat on the outer edge and with a few rocks scattered around. Dawnfeather sat up a little straighter- just so, just in case, her golden fur would be easily apparent. It couldn’t hurt to hope.
Dawnfeather is talking to Mistpaw and Stonepaw and keeping an eye out, just in case (because ofc she would)
