It was impossible to keep up with all the new kits being born in Windclan. Maybe having to deal with two apprentices that happened to be complete opposites had something to do with it, but lately Silverwing had been neglecting her obligation to meet all the new kits Windclan produced. It was entirely too time consuming to have to train two apprentices at the same time, how had Blazefang managed with her and Hickorypaw? Her inattentiveness towards what really mattered stopped now, she would pick up where she had left off. From the cats present, Silverwing picked out an absolutely tiny kit from the crowd. He looked impossibly tiny, even with all of the short Windclan cats around him, stars she knew that he was just a kit but Smallbean would even tower over this one. Silverwing padded over to the kit, a sweet smile pinned on her face. "Hey little guy, what's your name?" Stars, he was just so small! It was a struggle just to remain where she was, the temptation of reaching out and pressing on the kit was far too great.
