Dappledlight was out hunting when the first droplets began to spatter her pelt. It was nothing she couldn’t handle, but certainly made her uncomfortable. She continued searching for prey, hoping it was just going to be a small storm, but to her avail, it only got worse. Soon the rain was pouring down in sheets and she grabbed what ever prey she collected. Muddy water dirtied her already soaking fur as she raced back to camp.

Dappledlight burst into camp to see the rest of her clanmates huddling for shelter or waiting to see what to do next. She slowly made her way towards a somewhat shaded area, though she couldn’t fully escape the rain or water that quickly rose in puddles.

Echomist was miserable to say the least. Some water he was used to, that was fine, but this? His fur stuck to his sides, retaining as much water that also rolled off of him. It didn't help that it was cold too.. he tried to stick it out, to deal with it but it seemed it wouldn't end. So like the rest he tried to hide under what he could to avoid the rain.

Fuzzybelly was completely drenched. The rain was not stopping, and the marsh was overflowing more and more.

“Get the kits! Get the elders!”

The medicine cat made sure that they were accounted for before finding dry land for himself.

“Get to dry land!”

Fuzzybelly ran towards solid ground, unsure of when they would return to their home. It broke his heart to see his camp overrun.

Snowfoot was awoken from a sound sleep by rain splashing onto her pelt. The warriors’ den had sprung a leak! Blinking awake, Snowfoot peered outside the den to see the storm lashing violently at everyone and everything. Little rivers were beginning to flow across the ground. Soon, the voices of many cats rose, some urging everyone to get out of camp. Snowfoot frantically looked around and her eyes fell on Marshmallow. Her sister, though she rarely thought of her as such. Why wasn’t she leaving? “You might want to get out of your nest before it floods,” Snowfoot said, the nicest thing she’d said to Marshmallow since she was an apprentice. Clambering out of the den, she frantically scanned the camp for her kits. “Lightpaw! Deerpaw!” she called out.

“I’m here, Ma!” Lightpaw answered, rushing into camp at the heels of her mentor. “What do we do now?” She tried to sound brave, like a warrior should, but she’d never seen anything like this before. Would the water destroy the camp?

Rolls are Snowfoot, then Lightpaw.

Rookfire had never seen this much of a downpour before. He hoped he wouldn't get swept away or something like that. That would be a disaster.

Nightstalker was not pleased with the current state of Shadowclan. Or, more accurately the weather. Typically sleek and handsome, Nightstalker now resembled a drowned rat. Mud clung to his toes and threatened to keep him in place, as he moved to his clan-mates. "Lets all gather closer to the camp walls and the Jaggedrock, it won't be much drier, but we should huddle and conserve warmth. Lets try to power through this." Nightstalker mewed, inspecting the cats that seemed most miserable. "Kittens, elders, and wounded go to the center of the huddle, to stay the warmest."
