Now that he knew her name, he was informed to give her a new one, and so he would. Cats were already gathering, but he called for them anyway. "Let all cats of Thunderclan gather below Highrock for a clan meeting-"

Reedpaw darted into the clearing once again. anything to get out of the over-cramped apprentice den. maybe he should suggest to father to have some cats sleep in the elder and warrior's den. anything to make life more comfortable. he glanced up at Minnowfin. perhaps this ceremony is to clear away some of the clutter in the apprentice den?

Her injuries weren't quite a hundred percent healed, but Atalante was finally well enough to move about camp without much of an issue. Stoatstar, it seemed, had begrudgingly accepted her into the clan as Minkstar had, and that she hadn't been promptly thrown out into the forest was a relief. Her ears pricked as Minnowcall called the clan to gather, and Atalante hesitantly sat near the edge of the crowd, curiosity shining in her blue eyes. She knew not everyone would be thrilled about the presence of outsiders, but she wanted to make the effort to integrate herself into the clan regardless.

A splintering exhale shuddered in his chest, and he had already decided to make this quick. The tortoiseshell pelt emerged in his view and the clan was gathered. "Atalante- we would like to welcome you into Thunderclan, but for that, you must be given a clan name. Though you are well over the age of six moons, you are ready to train with a Thunderclan mentor. Until you receive your warrior name, your name will be Featherpaw. Starlingflare will be your mentor." Starlingflare was more than capable with training apprentices; he could be trusted to supervise this outsider's -- now Thunderclan apprentice's training. Giving the newly named apprentice a steady gaze of affirmation, he then stepped down from Highrock.
