...And he's got an army [Invasion]

An evil grin made it's way onto Torn's maw as soon as the warrior had failed in her attempt for her soft underbelly. She was going to take advantage of this moment, and teach the warrior a lesson. Quickly the gold and white warrior grabbed the warrior's tail, yanking hard to stun the she-cat. Swiftheart made a mistake and she would pay the price.

Through the red haze, Aoife spotted her brother finish off his opponent and come to help her, just as the warrior hit her with another strike. She wasn't exactly willing to accept the help that could put Aether in danger, but she wasn't stupid - the tabby she was fighting had experience she lacked, and her attacks were getting weaker. However, the two rouges outnumbered their one opponent now, no matter how battered Aoife was. She lashed out with her teeth at the tom's hind-leg, not enough to knock him off balance but certainly enough to draw blood. There was no use in trying to talk to the warrior anymore: it had started to turn in their favour, but all the same, she needed to conserve as much energy as possible.

The tom went limp, and for a heartbeat she thought maybe her blind attack had knocked him down. Before she could relax too much, he rocketed back up to his paws, striking out as her world went suddenly dark. After what seemed like an impossibly long time, sound reached her ears, and she blinked her eyes open to a starry landscape. Her ears flattened to her head as she got to her paws, searching for whoever she would be speaking with this time. Her father emerged from the shadows, grief apparent on his face. She sighed, stepping forward with a sad smile. "Hey, dad.... So it happened again, huh?" He nodded, resting his head on hers gently. "And you are healing the wound so I can return, right? I need to get back, it's crazy and I can't take too long." He nodded, stepping back. "I know. We're working as quickly as we can, but there's only so much to do. You have a lot before you, Murkystar, we wish you the best of luck." Murkystar nodded, sitting down and running a worried paw over her ears. Hopefully her clanmates could hold out a little longer.

Murkystar used Resurrection, gaining 30 HP and costing 30 SP. Klaus and Atalante are free to attack other opponents!

The tortoiseshell lashed out wildly, and the next thing Atalante knew, blood was streaming from her father's face. Eyes widening, she took an involuntary step back... And then her father was surging back to his paws, and their opponent had fallen.

She was a bit too still.

Sure, Atalante had seen death, but this was different somehow. She'd helped cause this. And-

She shook her head, wide cerulean eyes going to her father- Seeing the state he was in was enough of a distraction. "Dad... Your eye. Are you okay?" Her throat was oddly tight as she spoke, and her eyes lifted, searching the area. Cats were still fighting, she needed to help who she could, though her siblings seemed to be doing well for themselves.

Torn had grabbed a white she-cat by the tail. Muscles tensing, Atalante darted forward, slashing at the cat her sister held.

Swiftheart felt another cat dig its claws into her opening up new wounds. Her vision blurred and her legs failed her as she collapsed into the snowy marsh land. She lay there a couple of seconds stunned. Everything hurt and she knew if she stayed there she would die. She struggled to hit back but there was no energy left for fighting. Somehow she managed to slither out of their graps and when she got to the open she gave anything she had left into sprinting away as fast as she could her wounds bleeding faster as she ran but that would have to wait. For now she had to get out of there and fast. Her lungs burned and her muscles begged her to stop but she couldnt she ran deep into the marshland scattered from her clanmates. Finding a relativly dry place she currled up into a ball panting heavily as she tried to lick at her wounds. Her vision blurred and she fell into a state of half conciousness as she clung onto dear life the best she could.

Torn looked around the battle field as soon as the her opponent had slipped away. The pale rogue nodded a thanks for Atalante, thankful for her half-sister's help. She would have to express her graditude later. Once she saw one of the few still standing warriors she gestured to the tom with her head, letting Ata know to follow her lead. Together they would finish this. After her signal, Torn raced over to the tom sinking her teeth into his back.

Klaus managed to get a mouthful of throat flesh and he yanked it sharply back. The amount of blood that poured from Murkystar told him that he'd killed her. Add her to the ever-growing list of cats he'd killed. He looked at Atalante and noticed how she reacted to the body. A wave of sympathy washed over him and his gaze softened in his one open eye.

"It gets easier." He said softly, hoping it would be of some comfort. "Well done. She'll get back up soon enough. Lets finish off who we can and take her out again, then we need to go. We've done what we needed to do here." The message had been delivered, both verbally as well as physically. His eyes flicked to Webshadow... the last one and he wasn't doing great.

Achlys must have just finished her opponent, as she standing over a body. Good. She wouldn't be needed to finish off the dark tabby. Klaus was about to do that himself. He cantered toward Webshadow, but as he made his way there, he called out to Achlys.

"Be prepared when she gets back up!" Well it was a message for everyone really...  but with Achlys being the only one not preoccupied at the moment, she could at least keep an eye out.

Klaus raced toward Webshadow and raised a claw. He threw his full strength into it toward the tom's face. Hopefully that would do it. They'd all have to fight Murkystar once she came back to the land of the living. Then they needed to book it.

Webshadow flinched as the rogue bit into his leg, kicking back to shake her off. He wheeled around to face her, and as he turned, he caught sight of Swiftheart– blood-drenched, wheeling out of camp. His ears pinned, but before he had time to register another rogue crashed into him, teeth digging into his spine. The tabby let out a bellow, writhing and bucking against her grip, but she was older than the other rogues, more experienced. Webshadow snarled, slashing wildly at her, but his claws met air over and over again. "Get off me! Leave ShadowClan, or–" Any empty threat was silenced as another cat joined the fray. Webshadow snapped his teeth menacingly, but past the golden tom he saw Murkystar, splayed out on the ground.

Webshadow balked, and earned himself a swift blow to the head for his indecision. But he'd side-stepped just early enough to avoid the worst of Klaus' blow, and he gave the older tom a vicious snarl. Despite the way his legs threatened to buckle under him, the way he shook and struggled to hold himself up, he refused to give up.

Webshadow used Dodge and Fight, negating the -12 HP and costing 7 SP. Counterattack was unsuccessful.

Aether hated that he was practically told off by the cat he was attacking. This Tom was basically ignoring him! As it stood, though, he was quite weak. And he had a bit of an idea.

"Hey, I have a question. For some reason, others tell me I am hard headed, but they've never felt my head? Unless they have in my sleep, which would be weird. Anyway, can you test it for me?"

And with that, Aether rammed his head into Webshadow's ribcage. He looked at his family with a bit of a dazed, yet very pleased look, as he waited for the cat to hopefully fall.

Father and daughter sat side by side for what felt like moons, but was really only heartbeats. Finally, the starry landscape around her started to fade, and a now slightly more opaque version of her appeared next to her father. The two lives she had lost.... Her ear flicked subconsciously. Two in close succession, hopefully there would be a period of peace soon. Her father gave her a final farewell, and she purred as he nuzzled the top of her head a final time before the world went black again. This time, the stench of blood surrounded her as she woke, and blinking open her eyes she was greeted with the battlefield once more. They were outnumbered, at least they were without those on patrols and searching for the herb and guarding camp. A quick glance showed her where Dawnhawk had disappeared to, and she jumped to her paws and charged towards him, not slowing to swiped at him as she slammed into him with her head.

The little brown rogue had words to spare, too. You're certainly chatty, Webshadow wanted to quip, but the words died on hia tongue. He thought to lash out, deciding last second to try and slide away again. He still caught the brunt of the rogue's blow, and a wheeze rattled through him, but he was standing. His flailing claws missed their mark, but he was standing. A withered look to Murkystar as she charged back into the fray, then the tabby refocused on his attackers, tail lashing violently.

As their opponent was finally defeated, Tarot surveyed the battlefield, two of their foes were left standing, the leader, who had revived like the abomination they were, and a single, desperately struggling warrior he was sure would soon be put down like the rest of their fellow warriors. 4 faction members were surrounding that one, they needed no assistance.

Glancing back at the still-standing Hyacinth, he gestured with the tip of his tail to the leader who had gotten up."If you still want to fight. Join me." He intoned, voice smooth and ever-so-calm. He was not ordering her to fight, he was offering her the chance to, and she didn't have to take if she thought she couldn't battle any longer today.

Looking up he saw the leader charge towards his injured friend, and his hues narrowed. Coiling his muscles, he sprung forward, charging up to meet her with a surprising burst of speed, only to skid, and instead land firmly in front of Klaus, taking the brunt of the clanner's blow to his shoulder with gritted teeth.

Violet eyes flashed with hidden aggression,  and he raised his head, looking down at her disdainfully. He still somehow managed to look regal despite being coved in matting blood and dirty slush. "Apologies, abomination of nature, but you won't be taking any of us down with you today."

He had gotten off pretty easily in this fight thanks to Hyacinth, he could take the blow, though he had seen the strength of these clan abominations first hand and knew that if she decided to take him down first before any of the faction members came to join them, he wouldn't last long. Either way, he'd thank Hyacinth later by hunting down the best rabbit he could and giving it to her. Besides, she needed to fill out, her malnutrition was still evident.

The leaders of the Forgotten Order's job first and foremost, was to take care of the Order. So really, he was just doing what the job description said.

A strange tom took the hit, and Murkystar growled. This was one of the healthier looking rogues left... And she had only just revived. No matter, she would fight to the bitter end.

Murkystar used Tail Yank, dealing 10 base (+2 Star Striker) damage and costing 15 SP. Tarot is stunned for one turn.
